We do not live in Port Washington but needed new glasses and contact lenses. Dr Weil and his staff could not have been more efficient, professional and kind.They knew that we were not local (the English accent may have helped give the game away :) ) and therefore very little chance of repeat business, but they still went to great lengths to do a good job.- Fast response to e-mail request for appointments- Appointment on time and enjoyable, as far as visits to the optometrists go- Knowledgeable, fun staff who helped in the choosing of new glasses- Then had 2 pairs of glasses and a years worth of contact lenses ready the next afternoon - 36 hours later!!!Delighted

This place has absolutely the best customer service. My daughter had a pair of designer sunglasses with a broken nose pad. We were being told by several places it couldnt be repaired or it would be crazy expensive. I called Scott Weil and at first he said he couldnt help. Ten minutes later he called me back and said bring them in he might be able to do something. When I went there he was busy and asked if I could leave them for a couple of hours. When I picked them up they were perfect. The best part he wouldnt accept any payment. NO CHARGE. When do you ever get that type of customer service! They have a new regular customer now

Scott Weil at North Shore Vision is the ultimate professional. More than once, he has gone above and beyond in serving the needs of my family’s eye care. All in the office have spent countless hours while my children tried on every frame in the store. They are patient, kind and caring. They have been serving my family for over 20 years. We won’t go anywhere else.

North Shore Vision is THE optometrist to go to for your eye exams. Extremely friendly and professional. Even after I moved from Long Island to NYC I still take the train out to see Scott Weil. I recommend to any person of any age.

Dont come to this place they do not want to work with you if you have insurance. They make it seem like they are going out of the way and make no effort we waited 2 days for them to tell us that they still could not get in touch w our insurance company. What a waste of time. Called before, to whoever answers the phone needs to change their attitude. I dont know anything about glasses and I almost felt stupid asking simple questions a normal customer would ask. Lost a sale.

I have color blindness and EnChroma (manufacturer of glasses that seek to correct this deficiency) indicated the above company as one of its distributors in the state of NY. I was there personally but the gentleman who attended me had no regard for me, had no glasses for sale, let alone a professional to do the optometry exam to process an order to EnChroma. A total frustration.
