Enjoyed my experience shopping here. Owner was super knowledgeable about cameras - I was looking for an Olympus lens, which is somewhat niche in the camera world, and he had a lot of great insight on a variety of products.

Im a new customer to this company. I have ordered twice and both times I have received quick turn around on my purchases. Good customer service from them!

They use Amazon to sell their stuff!!! So I bought a camera lens on Amazon, Ended up returning it. Everything is exactly how it came, returned within a week, I thought I was going to be charged the returned shipping fee, and than I find out I was being charged a restocking fee, which is $85!! I think charging someone $85 for a returned item, and not letting someone know there not getting a full refund Is a shady move!!!

Ripped off! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! Got a defective ink cartridge and went back and forth with them through email. Took forever for them to give me their address to send it back (which cost $20.29) and didn’t even guarantee a refund. They ultimately refunded the cost of the ink cartdriege but did not reimburse for shipping...very poor customer service and they cost me time, money, and stress! Horrible company! And don’t even try to deny it like you’ve been trying on previous bad reviews..look how many bad reviews you have! Horrible company and horrible people!

If I could give no stars I would. They are thieves! Ordered an item through Amazon, returned it because it was not as expected. I was told my return would be accepted and then they only returned $318, from a total of $530. The item never left my counter. I was told restocking fee. Over $200 in restocking fee on an item that was returned because it was not what was expected and returned within days! Shame on this company.

I was travelling from Australia and found a really good deal on an Olympus from this store, so decided to take a short train ride from Manhattan city to purchase in store. I am so glad I did because I wouldnt have been able to find a better discount anywhere. The owner was also very helpful from the start when I gave him a call to confirm some details, even offering to wait after store hours if I was coming later on the day. He happily showed me how to operate the camera and gave some very useful tips. Highly recommend!

Just pass on purchasing from this company. I have no idea about the camera sadly. The description doesnt tell you that youll also have to purchase additional camera items for the camera to actually work.The company could not care less about the customers or righting a wrong. If you have an issue, they will keep a chunk of your money regardless with no other options.Buy the camera elsewhere. Take your business elsewhere. Im disgusted by the customer service. I couldnt imagine charging my customers for their inconvenience.

Really no stars here. bad return experience. everything was returned to them within the given time frame, was bought with free shipping and returns, but I was not given a full refund anyway. I paid $219.95 + 6% sales tax=$233.15 and received a refund of $127.15, thats $119.95 plus 6% sales tax. Plus I have a photo of the returned product to prove it was okay! Really wrong that we allow companies like this to exist and continue to conduct poor business transactions that take advantage of us!

Please trust me, this is dishonest seller online. Don’t buy it from it.

My son ordered an ink cartridge for me. A veteran on a budget during high unemployment during this crisis, including him, and he was charged 100% the price of one ink cartridge in shipping. Once we realized this dishonest seller duped us through Amazon, we refused the package and demanded a full refund. True Modern Electronics refused to reimburse the shipping. DO NOT USE THIS SELLER. They rip customers and US VETERANS off. Bad business practices.

So I ordered a camera from them through Walmart. They sent the wrong color. I contacted Walmart about this matter. They reached out to me after Walmart told them to do so. They asked for a photo and a serial number which I provided to them. They refused to take the return because the serial number didnt match. Exactly, they sent me the wrong item and expect the serial number has to match the item I ordered. If they match which means I received the correct item why on earth do I have to return it? I contact Walmart again, Walmart reached out for them. Then, I received an email from them calling me making a false claim and they will report me to the government. Walmart had to step up and issue me a refund from their own pocket because this store never stood up for their mistake but instead blame and threaten the customers. This is exactly why this store will remain a 2 stars rating store while Walmart is a multimillion dollars company.Revised:The 2 reasons it took me 5 week to return it were first of all Walmart has been back and forth about I can return the item through the store or I have to contacting the seller. Finally Walmart contacted the seller to resolve this matter. Secondly, it was because I can, the policy stated how long I can keep the item to return them so I can return it the first day or the last day within that period. You cant complain about me following Walmarts policies. I bought the camera through Walmart from them, they sent the wrong item. If I bought it from another store, Walmart wouldve contacted that store not them. 2 stars rating store (1 in yelp) calls every customer who spoke up dishonest.

Seller deducted $320 dollars on the return for what they said was dust on the viewfinder. Bought this camera through Amazon. Very unethical of seller. No where did it say 25% would be deducted for return. Will never do business with True Modern again.

I was recently looking for a new camera to buy but with all the different models out there I wasnt sure which one was the right fit for me. So I stopped by the store and the owner was super nice and really knowledgeable about all the different models. He was extremely helpful with directing me to picking the right one. He has great prices and a wide selection. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
