Extra Space In Port Washington is great! I was surprised how easy the process was! Daniel was so courteous and accommodating. He was very clear on what my size options were and helped me pick the best one for my needs. I was able to do everything over the phone and on line in a short period of time which was so great as I was pressed for time. Daniel provided me my unit number and entry code over the phone to make it easy for me to come early the next morning even before his office opened. I highly recommend!

Dan was helpful in getting me a space. Went through each step and followed up with a text giving specific instructions as to how to get into the building and even explaining exactly how to get to the space. Outrageous pricing. Ive had a unit at the Port Washington location for Extra Space Storage for 4 months. I just got a notice that my fee is going up $80 per month (28%). This is $11 MORE than the current web rate (which I came in via) for my type of unit. My new monthly fee is 2x the cost for the same type of unit in Garden City and $135 more than one on Jericho Turnpike. Looking at it competitively, Public Storage (also in Port Washington) is $18 cheaper than I was originally paying, so $98 less than my new rate. When I called, while very pleasant, the response was that its totally supply and demand based and they were not willing to change the new monthly fee. What gets me the most, is that I inquired about rate increases before renting and they did not indicate that there is a set rate increase schedule upon the 5th and 14th months.That said, the facility is clean and the staff is courteous and responsive.

I had a house fire in 2018. After the fire, the restoration company held my remaining household belongings at a cost of $7,000/month. Extra Space Storage of Port Washington alerted me to storage unit availability within hours of my inquiry and apprised me immediately of further unit availability. The storage units were immaculate, well-lighted, temperature-controlled, and secure. Everything was explained to me in detail and access to the facility was easy. Manager Dan Caruso was friendly and helpful throughout the year in which my things were stored. The cost of my two units was one seventh of the restoration companys cost and billing was automatic. I cannot imagine a better storage experience.

Over the past 4 and a half years, we rented 3 different storage units at Extra Space Storage in Port Washington. The place is spotless and very secure. Recently I forgot to securely close my unit and I got a call from the office alerting me to that fact. They were willing to work with me as I changed the sizes and locations of my various units over the years as my needs changed, and the only reason I stopped using them is because I bought a house in another state. While I dont like giving 5 star reviews since nothing is perfect, this is a very high rating in my book. I would heartily recommend Extra Space Storage.

Ive been to this restaurant twice before and had good experience. I enjoyed the food and the service was attentive but not intrusive I went for lunch on Monday July 13th which is the first time I have been here since the covid virus as our restaurants have been allowed to have inside dining for a couple of weeks. We arrived at the restaurant about 12 which is when they opened and were the only party there at the time. Service obviously was good and I enjoyed the food it was nice to be out and actually in a restaurant. They were also very accommodating and made an additional order from scratch for me to take home. The tables arent generally all that close together to start with and they were further apart now than before to meet the new rules.

Tons of boxes and moving supplies available

I was surprised at the level of quality service I received at Extra Space. My family and I recently moved from the city to Long Island, and planned to store our entire 3-bedroom apartment for a few months. Extra Space closes at 6:00pm, but our moving truck didn’t arrive until 5:30pm. Even so, Dan, the manager, went out of his way to stay a couple of hours past office hours to ensure we got settled. We ended up needing an extra 15’x10’ unit, which, again, Dan set us up with after hours, giving us a great rate with the first month free. Dan is always onsite and is exceedingly responsive. He gave us his cell number in case we had further issues, and called a week later to follow up on our experience. This is my first time renting at a storage facility, and I expected to have to deal with everything largely on my own. As such, it was a pleasant surprise to receive the impressive level of customer service that we did. The facilities are also clean, feel safe, and are kept at a pleasant temperature. We will certainly use Extra Space again if needed.

So my wife and I took steps to upgrade to a bigger storage we need More space Zan took us to a Great space on the second floor we love the space and the price the staff was Great in helping us very safe in this new covid-19 thank for all of your help I will definitely Recommend your place to all of my friends and family
