Alicia was very helpful today when purchasing two mattresses. She answered all our questions and had great information in helping us decide which mattresses to buy. My Husband and I were on the hunt for a comfortable yet firm mattress for a few weeks. After not liking what other establishments had to offer we decided to go to Jonathan Stevens. Upon arrival on 8/30/2021 Alicia was welcoming with her bright smile! Without making us feeling pressured to buy she helped my Husband and I pick out the best mattress for our needs. Our sales lady was so very polite and knowledgeable about the different types of mattresses and she took time to show us different things we could purchase for moms new mattress set. She was very informative with out being pushie. We really enjoyed working with her, she told us how everything was made and asked if we had any questions before moving on to the next thing. She needs a raise! Wish there was a tip jar.

Took my mother here to purchase a new mattress. It was the first time she had ever purchased a brand new one, so it was a big deal. Alicia was super helpful and patient, ever though her lunch was delivered just after we got there. She spent an hour or so with my mother discussing how firm she wanted/needed, what size, different materials and finding one that was perfect for her in the budget she felt comfortable with. The fact that she mentioned the low profile box springs was available at the same price as a regular one was great since my mom is only five feet tall. The low profile makes it easier for her to get in and out with having to climb or jump. Great experience and the card after delivery is a nice touch that my mother really enjoyed.

Alicia was so friendly over the phone and in the store. Very accommodating and kind. We will recommend this store to our friends.

Wow, unheard-of service!!!!! I purchased a mattress set from Jonathan Stevens two years ago. My cats ripped a hole in the fabric under the box springs. I called the company to see what I could do about it and the area manager Adam came to my house to repair it! He suggested covering the box spring entirely to prevent future issues, and his associate Alicia came over to help me put it on (the mattress is heavy!). They went above and beyond the call of duty! I recommend this company heartily, the mattress is great and they stand by their product.

BEWARE of this company. I visited two locations and talked to many sales staff and the east and west regional managers as well as someone at the company named Brenda. The sales staff will lie to you about the materials used in their mattresses and the managers stick up for them. They will tell you they use Talalay latex when indeed the certainly DO NOT use it. Their old outdated continuous coil is very poor and no one uses it anymore. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE PEOPLE Saatva Latex Hybrid.....better price and they DO use Talalay latex......

Lindsey was very helpful with us on finding the best bed for us to sleep on, she even looked up our old bed we had and got us the same one, the hospitality was the absolute best, I really appreciate all that she did and getting the card was even better thank you so much!

This is the worst mattress I have ever had. I purchased a medium firm mattress and it dips down quite a bit when me and are husband lay on it. It feels like we are laying on a hard piece of wood. We spent $1000 on the mattress and it’s been LESS THAN A YEAR!!! Its the worst one we have ever had!!! Of course no management can help us then called customer service was told a ticket had to put in but lady could not give me a time frame of when I would receive a call back. No one has helped us at all. I wake up in pain every day. Worst mattress place ever. All I wanted was for my mattress to be fixed or be given some sort of refund. But still can’t get any help. I feel like they scammed me out of $1000+!!!!!

Hopefully their mattress holds up better than Art Van. Locally owned and made.

They said I had to have a mattress cover that they sold to me for 4999 or my warranty would not be valid when I put it on my bed it was just a plain piece of cloth that I could have that for 10 bucks at Walmart

Lindsey was so helpful when purchasing my mattress. I had a couple previous mattresses from a different company that were not very comfortable. So I was a little intimidated mattress shopping. Lindsey brought me comfort as she is very detailed and educated me about the different types of mattresses so I could make a solid decision and choose a mattress that was made for my liking. I am writing this review 3 years after I purchased my mattress and could not be happier with either the customer service or mattress. The mattress feels like I just bought it yesterday. I have already referred friends and family.

The mattresses here are very comfortable, durable, high quality, and made locally from Michigan vendors. Very friendly staff. Be prepared to pay for a higher quality product, but one that will last you a long time and that is worth the extra money.

I could not ask for a more positive experience when I bought my mattress. Fantastic service, great prices, and thorough sales people. This is the only place my family will be buying mattresses from now on. We bought a mattress online as well as one from a big chain that didnt work out in the past. Update: the manager Ryan called back and assured me of a refund. Thank you Ryan!We purchased a mattress with pillows. Excited to use them both we opened the pillows and used them that night. In the morning we noticed we were delivered the wrong size (we ordered kings, and queens were delivered) after a night of sleeping we also decided that we did not like the pillows. When we attempted to return them we were told we cannot - they are a personal use item. They were willing to change size but not return, even though we haven’t even received the king pillows? The saleswoman in the store became very argumentative, and said we should’ve known what we were getting in the pillows when we bought them since we used them in the store. After much back and forth with a very rude saleswoman we took our queen pillows and left the store, unwilling to deal with such a rude person.I am anxiously awaiting a call from the manager Ryan, to share my concern and to also be refunded for the pillows I never received.

I was treated very well at jonathan stevens. I saw and felt all the coils of all other mattress companies and I have never seen any coiling like this company does. Its very unique and impressive. They make your bed to order, there is no inventory. I got a really nice pillow top firm mattress and I have had this bed for a year and half and I am absolutely in love with it. Their mattresses have a great warranty and they are a family owned company in business since 1945. I couldnt have gotten a better deal. If you want a bed thats absolutely amazing then jonathan stevens is the place to go. I will give a review again after another year or so and Ill bet I will be just as happy as I am today! It really pays to check everything out before you make a decision. I think the lord really blessed me on this one!

They make all of their mattresses by hand locally. I thought no one made double sided mattresses any more but they make those too. We love our new 5 Star 2 sided mattress. Its exactly what we were looking for - soft but with firm support. We plan to also by a custom mattress for our RV as well. Weve had our mattress for 5 months now and My wife and I sleep great. You dont have to spend a fortune to get what you need. Go buy a Jonathan Stevens!

The customer service is beyond superb! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new mattress, we were able to get a great deal and everything we needed all at once and get everything set up for delivery and everything! So very happy with the service we had tonight!

There are a lot of mattress companies out there. I urge anyone to look beyond Jonathan Stevens. If you buy, make sure you completely understand their exchange and return policy, because they wont budge from it, regardless of the problems. We found communication to be abysmal, particularly the owner, who was pompous and rude when addressing our concerns. The only good point was the office staff who took our calls and were attentive and nice. Make sure you have done your homework before buying from JS!
