I recently bought a Next Gen Sand P2 Signature Design zero gravity recliner from Bens Furniture and I love the special features that this chair has that no other chair offers. The owners of the store personally helped me with my needs. They took extra time with me, and stayed late, even after closing to help me. This high quality chair was delivered to my home, and moved into place. The attention to detail and the customer service was exceptional. The price point on this chair could not be beat anywhere. I highly recommend Bens Furniture Store in Portage.

We got good quality furniture at very reasonable prices. No pressure from Israel our sales person we were able to look at everything at our own pace. We will be going back. The delivery men were excellent, courteous and went out of their way to satisfy us.

Had a great experience here! Helpful staff, Israel was knowledgeable and answered all my questions without hesitation. I got a fantastic deal on a very nice sofa. It was delivered to my house (in the woods, off a gravel road), by two really friendly gentleman. They brought in my sofa, up a few stairs and through two doors without any issues. The delivery was promptly on time. I know the store has limited hours right now, but their selection and prices are worth making the trip.

Bens furniture is nice and clean. They have wonderful prices and are willing to help out. The employee Viry (hope I didnt spell her name wrong 😬) is absolutely amazing! She is very kind and more than willing to hp you out and give you what ever information you require. I would recommend this place to anyone that needs some type of furniture. They even offer a lay a way option which for some people (like myself) is worth the weight of your furniture in gold! I will continue doing business with Bens Furniture and you will too!

Where do I start? They helped us SO much with everything from moving furtinure in..and setting it up completely..to even helping us come up with ideas on how to decorate our house…then not to mention..they were even early and early is always better then late..AND I was so shocked because there were a couple other issues we had with some things in the house that we didn’t know too much about and they even provided us with help for that and gave us their best recommendation on what to do about it and how to move forward.. they went above and beyond completely and were so respectful kind and helpful..I’d give them 1000 stars if I could.. last just want to add in that our first experience picking out our furniture at their store was amazing..so helpful they were and worked with us on all we needed! Very disappointed. We were stalked around the store by an EMPLOYEE without a mask on. Will not be going back again. I understand mask-wearing of customers cannot be enforced, but we didnt expect to see an employee not wearing one, and then to have him following us around the whole time was just not okay and incredibly uncomfortable. Couldnt get out of there quick enough.****I cant reply so I will go ahead and edit my comment. You must have us confused because we certainly were wearing masks while in the store.. we also didnt make a purchase in your store which means you have no record of who we are anyway so not sure where youre getting your information from.. I understand how masks work, but your employees clearly dont. Why would I make this comment if we weren’t wearing masks?! Lol Nice try though, trying to say we were the problem to cover your own self instead of taking responsibility. Also we were stalked. We clearly said twice that we wanted to browse and would ask an employee if we had questions, yet he still followed us around the store the whole time. Hands down one of the best experiences I have had shopping for a big purchase. We bought a new house and needed a bunch of stuff. Israel was available to help us through our decisions but wasnt overbearing or pushy like in my past experiences at other stores. They had what we wanted in stock and were able to deliver to us same day. Prices were very reasonable, and the inventory was really good quality for the price. The store is very clean and well organized. I felt like the selection was pretty good, too. I would recommend Bens Furniture to anyone.

Seriously great service- now I understand all of the positive reviews. They have really nice [quality] furniture, great prices, and they know their product. I walked in knowing what I was looking for in a chair but had no idea which would be a good fit. I felt not the happiest to be shopping for new furniture as I HATE salespeople (pushy/fast talking, etc...) and I am generally distrustful of them. Well, Viri walks out, smiles, asks what I am looking for, listen to what I wanted and my concerns, and led me to what I needed (showing different options and starting with the lowest priced!!)She was just straight helpful, not trying to sell anything. I bought a recliner and also a table set. The table set came with two stools and two chairs- I asked if I could get all four stools, no chairs and they accommodated (and knocked $90 off!). Their delivery price is ridiculously cheap- seriously, I was more than happy to spend my money knowing it was going to them- AND a family-run company. anyone looking for furniture, who wants quality at a great price, you need to check these guys out. Seriously, you can feel safe taking their positive reviews seriously.

Viri helped me buy my first couch and bed frame. The whole process was easy and I had them both in my apartment the next day. The entire staff was very knowledgeable and helpful!

I LOVE Bens Furniture and here’s why: So today is Saturday and my sons 16th birthday is Tuesday. I was decorating his room because he is working and will not be home until Sunday afternoon. I wanted to surprise him! And then I remembered how much he hates his bed (it’s a platform bed and the mattress is as hard as a rock). My husband was using our truck, but we decided I should go to Ben’s Furniture and buy him a new bed for his birthday and we would just pick it up on Monday. I purchased a mattress, box spring and frame (at a very affordable price I may add) and Viri was so nice, she offered to deliver it for me so I can surprise him when he comes home!!! I recently purchased a king headboard from Bens furniture in Portage Wisconsin. They were awesome. Very helpful and.a nice group of sales people. Low pressure and very helpful. They delivered to my home and set it all up. Nice fellows who delivered the piece. I also just ordered a love seat, side table and area rug to be delivered this next week. They have a nice selection and a great store. Prices were definitely affordable and good quality. I will definitely go back when looking for furniture in the future.

Went into their store this Saturday with two friends to find a full living room set. The salesman that helped us was terrible. He couldn’t answer any of our questions about the furniture. When we left he followed us out of the store and yelled “you ladies didn’t see anything you liked, except me?”I tried calling Monday to find out the name of the set we saw and liked so I could look it up online. He answered the phone and couldn’t tell me any information about it, even with me describing it and knowing where it was on the floor and the price. I won’t be spending a dime at this store, which is unfortunate since I really did like the sofa set we saw.

We were shopping around for mattresses and had been looking online for about a month. My fiancée was hesitant as you cannot try for the features you want and felt we should buy local. As soon as we entered a young man name Tino greeted us. They spread in the store was well organized with everything you would find in a big named store in Madison. As we knew what we were searching for he was able to help us immediately find a variety of beds that would work with our adjustable frame but wasnt memory foam. They did not have the one we initially wanted but the owner found us another style from Ashley (the brand) and had us try it. Felt like a dream. The price was just right, and he didnt try to up-sell anything, just helped with finding us what we needed. We were able to take the bed home today (hybrid spring/memory foam/pillow top in a bow was under $600 with a mattress protector). Tino helped us load it, and it was easy to get in our home. Already tried it on our adjustable frame and it works perfect 🥰. We will be back for our next furniture purchase soon! I walked in and asked what deals he could give me on a standard sofa that I could take home that day. He showed me several different options and after being in the store for 18 minutes, I was headed home with my new sofa wrapped up in the back of my truck. Wow let me tell you never want to have to replace stuff but this was truly a perfect experience. Needed a new bad as my waterbed popped decided to go with a real bed this time. Got help with a very soft bed to be like what was used to sleeping on. The owners daughter did my sale and when asked about delivery she made it happen that day so didn’t have to go a second night without a bed. The owners daughter as well came and helped make the delivery. The next time I need anything they sell will be my first stop. If need bed or furniture do yourself a favor and start here.

Went to Bens just for a browse. Fell in love with a livingroom set: 2 end tables, one had usb and outlets in it, a couch and loveseat. Pet and kid friendly easy to clean, scratch resistant. Service was excellent! Very knowledgeable about choices and their product. 100% satisfied!
