I love going here. They have a wide variety of items available, and their prices are really reasonable. Crystals, incense, candles, herbs, they really have it all. I almost always stop in whenever Im visiting the area! The staff are really nice too, and the shop has a good vibe.

The staff is always so kind and helpful. Nice clean place with extremely reasonable prices. Everything is labeled and easy to find. There are a ton of free print outs to help educate you, too. Its definitely our go-to metaphysical shop! I recommend The Blue Butterfly every chance I get. They even have a little library section where you can flip through their selection of books that arent for sale (they do have books for sale too). Extremely helpful for those of us that want to learn without breaking the bank.

Such a great place and calming affect when you walk in. The staff was very friendly and ready to help and answered questions when I had I had them.I also tried the Oracle reading and it was interesting, spot on, and she explained everything thoroughly and made sure I didn’t have any questions.Lots to learn and I will be going back.

I rate it for sure 5 stars. Inside it’s really nice looking, they have describtions for mostly everything in there, which is great for beginners looking for crystals:) The workers were VERY nice, and very helpful. At the front desk they have this lip balm, I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!! It’s all naturally made by the workers, and it helps with very chapped lips. Sense covid there is a 5 or maybe 10 people limit inside plus the workers included. you get an hour to shop. Which is fair. I love this place so much :) I had a great time in there:) It felt very safe there too!! Loving the positivity:)

I would love to come back but I can’t until a few things are addressed. There is an entire back wall lined with white sage, which is endangered and going extinct due to shops like this selling it without being aware it is only supposed to be used for Native American and indigenous rituals. There was only one single bundle of sage I could find that did not contain white sage. Again, I would love to come back, but I can’t until there are more options and the owners are aware of what they are selling.

Very kind and knowledgeable employees. They made sure to sanitize every basket and took all precautions for a clean environment. Plus they have a tremendous amount of inventory.

The Blue Butterfly is a gem! They have a very wide array of crystals, minerals, and gemstones. There is a wonderful selection of reference books for study within the store, which is amazing, as well as books for sale. They have beautiful jewelry, a great selection of hoodoo oils, herbs, and other curios. I noticed (and purchased) some great talismans that I have not seen available at other shops in the region including Chicago. The staff are amazing! Very kind and helpful.

Back in September I went to this shop. I come from a family of people who dont condone my practices so when I walked in I felt right at home. There were warm welcomes, friendly faces, and an amazing supply. I ended up in tears because of how amazing this shop is. I got my tarot cards and a pendulum from here and they work fantastic!

I had been wanting to visit this location for awhile now. Fearing it would be a glorified Greenfields, I was apprehensive. I couldnt have been more wrong. They are the tool shop if you will for those of us who are not into the practice of traditional religion. All the things you need for smudging, candle magic, spells. I thought I would just take a quick look and I ended up spending over an hour and a half in the store. Serious practitioners and those looking for where to start will love this place. They also have classes and other fun things. Hooray for Pagans!

The prices are extremely reasonable, and if youre looking for something that they dont have they can usually either order it or point you to where you can find it. The Blue Butterfly states that they are family owned and operated. The family operated is 100% true. However the lovingly operated is a complete lie. We were never greeted, and from the moment we walked in we were followed around. I have been part of the metaphysical/new age community all my life and I have never been treated more poorly. The gal that said she was the owners sister relentlessly kept giving us a count down to when the store closed. As a business owner myself I wouldnt ever rush paying customers away from my shop. I had at least 100.00 worth of merchandise at the counter I wanted to purchase. My son was looking for a book and it was understandably taking some time, like most book purchases do and she became ruder and more hateful by the second. I asked for her name to report this to the owner and she handed me a card. Told me her sister would recieve my complaint on their Facebook page. I happen to know their fb page can be manipulated in regards of reviews, however google cannot. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am with this shop. I wish I could give ZERO stars, but google doesnt give that as an option. The owner should immediately fire her sister. She lost her a lot of money today and I am sure this isnt the first time it has happened.
