Under staffed and some inventory issues. However, not the associates fault. He was very helpful where he could be. Have to be a little more patient than in the past. New world out there.

Seabrook store: Shelves were unorganized and barely stocked. Staff said they could not get supplies but when you look up at top aisle storage there was plenty of stock. Bob was a joke! I asked him about where I could find a product and instead of showing me he just stood with his back to me and said “over there” with a finger point. I left the store and drove 20 miles to the Portsmouth West Marine.Portsmouth store: The manager - another Bob - was EXCELLENT! He really knows his stuff about boats and how to take care of customers! Yes they are also experiencing stock shortages but Bob literally walked me aisle to aisle and explained products. He also made sure I got the correct annodes by opening a sealed package of zincs and matched mine up. Thanks Bob of the Portsmouth store! Customer for life here.

Super helpful even close to closing

Called looking for something and employee wouldnt take the time to even check. Went to Hamiltons Marine and they found what I needed.

Walked into the store, asked two questions and immediately was accused of calling the customer service representative a liar. Q1.do you have any universal transducer mouts? A1. No Q2. do you have any transducer mounts at all? A2. Do you think I am lying to you?- superior customer service in 10 seconds flat

I went in on a Sunday evening, they were doing inventory, how ever this did not stop them from providing excellent customer service. I have been to West Marine stores all around the country, so for the staff working that Sunday evening I want the Manager to know great job. I feel bad that I was in to much of a rush to remember his name, I do remember talking about a Catamaran... the story of my life I will remember the boat but not the persons name. Great listening skills in helping me select the product, most times my knowledge level in the product surpasses staff, but the questions help me sort out the actual product I needed. Thank you for your great customer service it was a refreshing change, true asset to the company.

I bought my first boat this spring and have been in and out of this West Marine a few times a week for the past few months. I have always had helpful service. Theres a balanced staff: a few older guys with the wisdom, younger guys with spirit, and a feisty manager who has grown on me. Ive been given good advice on boat maintenance and how to save a few bucks. I appreciated their honesty - they dont try to back me into buying things, but actually talk me out of making stupid novice purchases. We always have a good laugh in there as well, which helps take the edge off spending so many clams. I appreciate the good service and Ill continue frequent this West Marine.

Good selection of boating equipment. We got some foul weather boots this visit. Peices are not the lowest, but service is second to none.

Not inexpensive, But they have a good selection of the parts for DC wiring. I am doing installation on RV of solar panels & battery bank.
