I brought my two bikes in to be fixed and to get them ready for the spring and summer. The guy there was very nice, helped me take the bikes out of my car, and did a quick evaluation right on the spot and told me he’d have them ready in a few days. I thought it was a great experience...a lot more efficient than some other bike shops I’ve been to who are months behind on making repairs.
Unbelievable Staff, I went there because of the phone conversations I had with the guys. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I went in with my own parts for an upgrade not knowing or really caring what I was going to spend and the final invoice was very reasonable. I really could not have been happier with my experience and would never think of taking my bike elsewhere.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ For sure
Staff was very thorough and immediately ready to help. Spoke with me in detail about my bike. They are committed to their work and enjoy sharing their knowledge with customers.
Not only great bike store /service with young and knowledgeable guys but also bike rental. They prepare and adjust bike for your needs give you some tips where to ride. Also I like their selection of bikes and accessories to buy. Im fond of Fox brand and thay have it or will order it for me (no shipping charge - pick up in the store)
Excellent service and really nice staff. I had a great experience when I brought my bike in to have the handlebars raised. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. My go to bike shop from now on!
Great, fast service. Very reasonable prices. I spent HOURS online trying to figure out how to adjust my derailleurs properly. Waste of time, bring it to the pros. Highly recommend them, Ill be back.
Very limited stock if any at all. Very dirty place in general. Very rude younger staff member with a very shaky voice. Didnt seem interested in helping us out at all.Recently purchased a WTP and had to fix it at home and the decals are all scrunched together. I suggest going down the road to a better establishment like papa wheelies or colonial.Strongly suggest going elsewhere for service as well.
Most easily accessible bike shop in Portsmouth. Quality service. Thanks
Awesome bike shop. Very knowledgeable, professional. Very kind owners. 10 stars all the way.
Great folks. They were the only dealer for the type of bike I had with 4-5 hours of me.They spent 5 minutes looking up some information for me even though it was pretty clear it probably wasnt going to lead to a sale today. They also let me know I didnt need a specific brand of part I thought I needed. They could have easily mislead me based on my experience level with bike parts and tried to sell me something I didnt need. They didnt though and they were incredibly helpful.Good, honest, and helpful shop in my opinion. If I am ever down that way I will be sure to check them out.
Knowledgeable and friendly staff make all levels of riders feel at home. A great selection of all types of bikes means there a bike for everybody in the family. Knowledge about where to ride offers the most fun for you and your new bike. Great prices and unbeatable personalized maintenance plans keep you riding for miles. Check them out!
Excellent service and bike repair was top notch. I highly recommend Pedal Power.
The staff of PPC are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Their suggestions are great, especially for those of us who are not hard core cyclist, but more of a casual rider. Well done folks!
Great friendly service
The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They carry quality bikes and parts. The bike techs are awesome and never make you feel like you are burdening them. They will often go out of their way to get you back on the trails/road asap. Devin is super friendly and smart, and always shows extreme willingness to work hard to make sure every customer is treated exceptionally. I strongly recommend this bike shop!
Best bike shop around. Went to the Colonial Bike shop up the street and was treated so poorly I could hardly believe it was happening. I waited for at least a minute standing in front of the register for the cashier to acknowledge that I was there. Decided to try coming to Pedal Power Cycle and was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine interest in my needs. They thoughtfully explained everything I was looking for and are very personable. I will continue coming here for tune ups and any questions regarding a bike!!
After moving up to the Seacoast area I needed a new LBS with a crew that you can trust. After stopping in at a few of the big name shops I felt completely hopeless and felt as if I might have to bite the bullet and go to a shop that made me feel silly and like I needed a mustache to be accepted. A buddy of mine told me about Pedal Power and advised that they were real mechanics that liked a challenge and didnt mind working on Campagnolo components. To make a long story short Pedal Power is the only really LBS in the are that can actually work on bikes that they dont sell and are always willing to talk shop with anyone.5+plus stars!
The best bike shop around - I switched to this one from Papa Wheelies. We needed some repairs on my bike because of a crash; Papa Wheelies (where I had gotten the bike from 5 years ago) looked at the damage, gave an estimate of $125, and set my appointment to one month ahead of when we went in, and then postponed it by another month later. So we went to this place - they offered $70 (almost half) for the very same repairs, including a full tune-up! Not only that, they took the bike the same day we went in, without an appointment, and finished working on it by the next day. That means we were being grossly overcharged and postponed at Papa Wheelies, and didnt really know it was abnormal treatment because we didnt have much experience with other bike shops.Another important aspect: the employees were also very friendly and knowledgeable - they will also explain exactly what they will do and the costs associated with each thing, which made me feel more comfortable with it. The shop itself, I would say is a bit larger, so you are likely to find what you need here. The repairs turned out well and my bike is working better now than before the crash (there were some additional problems with shifting gear, which they fixed as well). This shop is relatively new in town, but these guys know how to fix a bike and how to run a business - they will treat you well. I have high hopes for it. :)
Fast, friendly, affordable service. Took my new bike in to be assembled. Steve and Devon helped and were great. I will be back here for all my maintenance even though it is further than other bike shops.
They dont make enough stars to describe this place. Super nice, super knowledgeable. They over-deliver every time. I live much closer to other bike shops, but I drive an hour to go here instead.
Went in for a tune up. It was quick, well done, and as affordable as it gets
I love these guys. I moved to the area a few years ago and needed a new local bike shop. Ive gone here for parts, repairs, and Ive purchased two bikes from them, so far. They have customers for life, from my wife and I!
Great customer service!
Our son is a senior at UNH. He has been wanting a new bike. After going to many bike shops. He walked into peddle power and got great service. Seeing his birthday is April fools day. They even helped us prank him lol. He has been very pleased with their knowledge and service.
The kind of bike shop I always looked for as I traveled the country in the military. Smart, honest and in it for the long haul, Steve and the crew are the best.
Ive been a Pedal Power customer for 2 years, and recommend them to anyone who even hints they may consider thinking about possibly ever getting a bike.My first time in I was actually just getting a second opinion. I had a bolt coming loose repeatedly, and went to the shop I normally used. They quoted me $50 plus labor. I asked why I couldnt just loc-tite the bolt, and was given a very hem-haw indefinite answer that amounted tomy needing to give them $50 plus labor. I said I had to wait for payday and left.I then went to Pedal Power for the first time, and described the problem. Dana the tech said Just loc-tite it. I hadnt told him about the trip to the competitor, that was just his answer. He explained why loc-tite may not work, but that it was worth a gamble. $5 vs $50.Rather than take advantage of my lack of bike knowledge, he told me the best solution for my problem and situation.Ive since gone to them for all my maintenance, and even bought my current bike from them.Need a bike? Need parts? Need maintenance? PEDAL POWER.
Pedal Power has a really great selection of bicycles and the shop staff are really knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.
Owner is knowledgeable. Prices for even used models are a little steep.
My favorite bike shop
