They have a good Oriental selection, so if you’re looking for Asian ingredients, this store gives you tons more options than any other store in this area of Portsmouth. The grocery store itself isn’t that nice as prices are high and selection is limited. It’s not bad for foreign ingredients and items, but the rest is a place is one on which I’d pass.

I just need to grab something really quick and they still had 10 minutes before closing. Might as well close down for good if you really want to close.

They have new owners but now the chicken and pork chop cooked inside taste back on point. When they first started back was nasty but Now its back on point as long as you get it fresh out the grease.👍🏾👍🏾🤣

I would strongly recommend Farm Fresh to clean the parking lot and the inside of the regularly. And it get rid of the beggars outside in front of the store, because it makes people feel unsafe. The prices are a bit higher than before. The only reason I may visit them again will be to purchase chicken other than that Im done with Farm fresh.

I ordered 96 pieces of chicken a week ago to be picked up on May 19, 2021 at 1:00pm. This was for an event after a funeral. Didn’t mind waiting in line to pick up an order but after I paid for the order, they said it wasn’t ready. I couldn’t believe it. The person behind the counter was understanding and seemed to have an attitude. Terrible customer service!

Went to the farm fresh on victory blvd to purchase chicken and other condiments from the deli area. My wife was approached by the bagger I guess since he did not have on a security uniform he promoted himself and informed my wife that he had spoken with her once before about coming into the store with her firearm which was not the case and went as far to state even if you have a permit it is not allowed since she did not recall ever talking with him prior. And I had informed him that if the Store had properly displayed the sign on there door no firearms allowed on the entrance then she would have known to secure her firearm or not go one the store instead she was escorted out of the store and treated rude. So from this point on we will not shop there anymore and hopefully they will not have an incident there were a legally caring person could assist and save lives an intervene if some nut does show up. So if you open carry take heed before you enter they also decided that they do not allow backpacks as well which the old farm fresh never had any restrictions like that before.Take care readers and stay safe out there since we have been labeled the most robbed area in Virginia.

Asian food- largest selection around!Farm Fresh happened to be nearby so we dropped in. They have the largest frozen and packaged asian food selection I have found in the area. This would be the only reason I would return. Quality and price are otherwise not competitive with Kroger for our needs.

If Im not mistaken this place is owned by foreigners the old farm fresh is gone ... You can definitely see that this particular location is a little congested overpriced and the typical stor grocery store... I definitely do not recommend this location or should I say store to anyone but the locals go here and do business... The store has a smell to it the associates are not nice nor are they willing to help... Which I can understand why theres no motivation or morale in this location

I went to get fried chicken ( of course) I asked the girl for 3 dark meat dinners. She refused to give me the chicken j wanted. So another of her co-workers came over and put my order together. Maybe she wanted those pieces for her self.

I wish there was an icon for zero stars because this Farm Fresh definitely deserves it. This has to be one of the worst grocery stores ever. First, it stinks! Then, the produce is limited & not fresh, labels & prices are missing. Also, the seafood dept. is awful. The guy who took my order, rolled his eyes when I asked him to change a crab leg cluster that was green. Not only was the wait long, but the staff never tells you when your order is ready & you have to figure it out. This store needs to have a wrecking ball go through it. I will NEVER return.

With there tonight have brought my mask and headgear as they requested made me use their gloves which are not hyper orogenic for sensitive hands hands got really irritated gloves are too small and Im a cashier got really smart with me I kept dropping the money cuz I couldnt close my fingers with these tiny gloves and my hands are starting to swell up because the gloves was making my skin irritated so she got smart with me I just wouldnt recommend going there, and its supposed to be the store that has the clean daily it didnt smell clean it all I had to take my mask off for a second because it was running up over my eyes and the store smells of sour milk or something

Manager on duty does not follow ADA or governors executive order regarding medical exemptions... spending our $1,000 a month on groceries for a family of four at Food Lion from now on (even long after COVID 19 is no longer around).

This is whole new Farm Fresh owned by Food Lion. Farm Fresh itself is no longer operating any business. But if u liked farm fresh youll love this place, everything is exactly where it was in the old Farm Fresh before and it set up just like it was, like they never went out of business, funny huh and the prices are just as high as theyve always been!! no deals here!!! Ill just continue to go to Lidls and Save-A-Lot

Wonderful customer service! Very organized! Very clean! My only complaint is this is not the place you want to go to get makeup, diapers or vitamins it is over priced! The vegetables, fruits and organic meats are very good and are well priced on the other hand. So it really depends on what you are going for.

I bought a whole chicken that never got tender. I think it was a tough hen. I baked it for. 3 hours.n.it was still tough. The store is not like the old store. I wont buy no more whole chicken from thete. You dont know what you will get.

Went to get some wings from Farm Fresh on 9/20/19 on Victory Blvd. in Portsmouth for some wings. The lady was all smiles in assisting us.Guess that smile and friendliness was really a, I gotcha look.Talking with my husband, we did not pay attention to her as she was picking up the chicken and putting into the bag, because if we had watched her, we would have definitely request some real wings. I can not believe that Farm Fresh actually sell wings this small. Its a rip off. I will not ever get my wings from them. And the lady smile looked more like an smirk as she was handing us the bag. The small bag was an hint. Was looking for the contact information to make a complaint because those wings are ridiculous. Want to give no stars, but one is the lowest you can go

Go ahead and finish closing the rest of these and get some decent grocery stores to replace them.

People drive like maniacs in the parking lot. The associates are rude. The store is dimly lit. The seafood lady thats heavy set and dark skinned will flat out lie and tell you something is fresh, when you get it home, it stinks and is obviously fishy and NOT FRESH.I hate these things about this store and it makes me want to never ever shop here; which sucks because I love the stuff they carry. So FF can go screw itself.

I am so glad to see a Farm Fresh open again, and with the salad bar! I heard this Farm Fresh is actually owned by Harris Teeter now, so I was wondering if it would still be like a Farm Fresh when it opened back up, or more like Harris Teeter. Its a little of both, really. The salad bar is just like it used to be, and thats what I was glad to see. The only thing is this location is not at all convenient to where I live but its the only one I know of thats open again. Id like to see more of them.

Turned away at door because I did not have a face mask. Our country is facing a shortage of medical supplies that include face masks. Guidance given by CDC, government, & medical professionals has been to not wear a mask unless you are sick or are a medical professional in the line of duty.... Shame on you Farm Fresh for promoting a wasteful practice not in accordance with government & medical guidance. And for increasing anxiety in a time where people are already fearful.

Hello, I just had the most pleasurable shopping experience at Farm Fresh on Victory Blvd. The entire store is clean and fresh smelling. Gourmet food items everywhere including in the frozen food section. The LADIES behind the DELI COUNTER had MOUNTAINS OF FRESH FRIED CHICKEN and other items to keep ME OUT OF THE KITCHEN. They were so pleasant and ready to serve shoppers. Hard to find items like frozen catfish nuggets, turkey legs and wings. Beautiful delicious bakery goods including a small WEDDING CAKE. All the age numbers for BIRTHDAYS. I am still blown away. One stop shopping. Thank you for making my day. Ms. Gall

Bag policy is flat out discriminatory. Girlfriend and I both attempted to enter the store with backpacks - I carry a bag with business and medical supplies everywhere I go and was denied entry.If youre concerned about theft hire security guards. Will not patronize this business again.

I needed to grab rice literally would of taken me 2 mins but for some reason they close their doors before 8 o’clock even though that’s their closing time. I was told the manager wasn’t there try again on Friday it’s wed

Chicken is definately not the same! Different oil being used and the wings look like they belong to a pigeon! Save your money, got to Royal Farms for your fried chicken!

Farm fresh has in my opinion the best Fried and bakes chicken around, but the wait is at times ridiculous. But then to go from standing in one line and then have to stand in another line for the register in order to pay for chicken, total time you have to stand that line is almost 45 minutes well you get the idea.

I went in this farm fresh on 01/27/2019 to put in an order for 30lbs of chicken for an event that I was hosting my pick up time was Sat Feb 2 at 1230 I get there at 115 to pick up my order now I didnt expect the chicken to be fresh out of the grease hot but I didnt expect it to be ice cold either....I will never in my life spend money here again far as Im concerned the can shut back down

Dirty atmosphere. Bugs crawling in the salad bar. Management (Jasmine-short cut hair) was unprofessional and acted as if the was normal.

Giving 3 stars is being kind for there Portsmouth store. The dilly department employees were very friendly and helpful but the cashier acted like she was doing me a favor for ringing me out and very rude. The prices are very high you can go else where and save a lot of money. I founded most things were $1.00 to $2.00 more, but they do have good fried chicken.

Had to get that fresh chicken

I went in to get something that was lemony and sweet. I ended up going to Starbucks and buying their delicious lemon iced cake. I also used the womens restroom while I was in the store. I can tell you that I was not happy at all with the visit. The bathroom was NOT well kept and had an awful odor. I was very surprised because the rest of the store looks clean but the bathroom obviously revealed a deep-seated internal problem that should have come to someones attention before now. There is no excuse for this problem.

I have called 14 times no answer final on the 13th and 14th someone purposely pick the phone up a hung up before a word.Shows what kind of worthless employees work. Never call or shop there again and will actually pay my friends to go somewhere else

Time and time again I cannot get waited on in the deli section, even with 5 or six store employees behind the counter. My last visit to the store three of us were waiting to place orders. waiting almost 20 minutes without service we walked away without purchasing anything. The last time I had an order filled at the deli it was wrong and when I complained about it to the deli worker was given dirty looks and an intelligible reply. The last time I sought out the manager, third or fourth time to complain, I was told the manager was out in the parking lot with a friend...

I go there only for the baked chicken. Nothing else.

This is Farm Fresh fusion you can get your farm fresh favorites(chicken/seafood), but if you are familiar with asian food, cookwear, etc you can find it here as well.They have a good selection of Asian sauces,spices,noodles,curries, drinks, snacks, and frozen items.Its not as vast as the market in VA Beach, but its nice to have access over here.P.s They have mochi too😎

Terrible. With one register open, the cashier and security guards long conversation held the line up. The woman behind me was even getting frustrated with them. I had to reach over and grab the bag from her because she just stood there holding it when she was talking.
