Best cheese, and sun dried tomatoes. And, best consultation on what is good today!

I loved the food. It is really some of the best breakfast Ive had. Its a damn shame about the service though. The host is always rude, we get ignored regularly by wait staff, they reserve way too many tables when they should open up for the many walk-ins they get. Its really a disappointment, because the food is so good.

After stumbling across an article about Milk & Honey online, I decided to make the trip down to Portsmouth to buy some cheese for a dinner I was attending. I have bought cheese for myself, but I was completely stumped when it came to pleasing other palettes. Upon entry, I was greeted by the manager and asked her for help picking some items that would suit my needs. She treated me so personally and knew so much about each and every product. It was impressive! You could tell that it was a passion. Best of all, the cheeses that she recommended ended up being a huge hit. I will definitely be back and really appreciate the special attention that I was given. I would have been lost otherwise.

I have to say after months of spending 100s of dollars at this place I have never meet such a rude person in all my life.I came to store shortly after it closed and women was cleaning up and I asked her if it was to late to please get some cheese as I was having dinner guests. She came right out and said no! No I cant. I said really you cant sell me some cheese. She said Nope really I wont.Mind you the cheese is 25 dollars a lb. On average and she had no interest in helping me ! This is a Mom and Pop shop. She so could have sold me product. When I asked her are serious in she said, yes!I was mortified. I can not believe anyone in a small business would do that.Where is the customer service. Where is the thanks to your devotion to my shop.Well not anymore.Nice cheeses, worst customer service.Bad customer service and I hope Karma becomes her best friend.Tiverton 4 Corners is the only place I will go now. As they bend over backwards.Your loss !

Very cool place. Very nice and knowledgeable staff, even though he was young. I will admit I was surprised when he was explaining and describing the cheeses in great detail. They have some stuff youll find no where else. The display is beautiful and everything is clearly visible. The prices are rather nice for the quality of products they have there. We had a great time exploring this awesome place.

This is the best place ever! Cheese for sale and yes its the best! This is just an amazing spot no reason to even explain it Im sure the rest of the reviewers did it for me! 5 stars! I love it! This place ROCKS!

I recently checked out Milk & Honey while visiting friends and loved this little shop! Not only were the products offered amazing, but the employees were knowledgeable and welcoming. Nina helped me brainstorm for a cheese board and I ended up with 4 cheeses; a double cream, humbolt fog, beemster, and triple play cheddar, they were all excellent. She said these were her go-to’s and let me tell you, they did not disappoint. I also snagged some honey, crackers and a few other condiments to make the perfect cheese board. She even helped me brainstorm serving ware! Next time I’m in town, I will definitely be back. If you open up shop 2.0 in San Diego, I’ll be your first customer.

Nina deserves a gold star for service! It was Monday of Thanksgiving week so they were so so busy and she went absolutely above and beyond to help me, told me how to cut and store the cheese that she selected, suggested wines and fruit pairings and gave me tips for completing the insta worthy cheese board that my family ultimately fawned over. I 100% will be back (probably with another inspo picture) next time I’m in town!

As a girl who grew up in the midwest(Hello, Wisconsin!!!) I consider myself rather savvy when it comes to cheese. I LOVE cheese. I decided to visit my sister for a few days out East, and she insisted we go check out this cute lil cheese shop by her. I went against my will with every intention to be super judgmental and closed minded about their selection. However, the shop, the employees, and their fantastic selection won my heart over! Every suggestion by the woman working(I think she might’ve been the manager??) was absolutely fabulous. Such a knowledgeable staff. I’m heading back to the Midwest with mind at ease knowing my sister’s cheese needs are being met.

Milk and Honey has fine cheeses that are much better than youd find in a supermarket. Plus you can have them make suggestions, try the cheeses, and have them cut a piece the size you want.We also like the ability to call them when we know what we want and theyll have the cheese ready for you.The staff is friendly and helpful.

First time there today! It was a great experience, everything was clean and displayed nicely. James helped me with my purchase, and everyone enjoyed and complimented the quality.

Im surprised to see that someone posted the staff is friendly and helpful. The store has a wonderful, varied selection of cheeses, pates, and condiments. I am not a connoisseur of any of it, and so appreciate guidance and a bit of education in making what is a fairly expensive purchase. When I explained that to the person waiting on me, her response was, Well, what do you want?. I did not find them at all helpful. Great place to go if you know what you are looking for - dont expect any guidance from the staff. I found them perfunctory in the execution of their duties. Friendly is the last descriptor I would use.
