I had the cajun sweet potato chicken today. It was full of flavor, I was really impressed. Awesome to be able to order at the window and takeaway in a rush, or order ahead for those of us that work in town and need a fast and healthy lunch option.

Great smoothies. The one in Kittery Foreside is better because they have more choices and they use cider instead of apple juice. Much better!

The Soupery has a simple concept that it executes perfectly. There are around six soups available everyday (check their Facebook for the daily menu) as well as a grilled cheese sandwich (best with the creamy tomato, obviously) and you cant ask for more. The soup is delicious and flavorful and hits the spot on the coldest winter days. Easy, friendly, fulfilling. Love.

This place is great! We stop by there on Saturday and had the most delicious soup. It was the Cajun sweet potato chicken soup and it was so creamy with just the right amount of spice. We cant wait to to go back.

Loved this place. Everything from the small door to get in to the low ceilings. Had the mushroom soup and it was great. Can’t wait to go back and try a grilled cheese.

2 orders of 8oz soup (one of which was slightly better than canned and one was much worse) with 2 soggy grilled cheese sandwiches were almost 20 bucks. Not to mention that the rotating soup menu means you shouldnt expect to find the soup you wanted that was listed online.

Small (literally) shop for soup. Prices were decent for the area and the soup was wicked good (as their website implies). There is no seating inside, so its strictly to go.The only other item on the menu besides soup is a Grilled Cheese Sandwich, just as an FYI.

Staff was great and very knowledgeable about the soups. Small and quaint, I will visit again when in the area. I would give 5 stars but the place only had two seats inside, was cramped with 5 or more people waiting in line.

Ah, The Soupery. One of the few places I’d ever give a review. I used to work at Bull Moose for 3 years and would come here often before my late shifts to grab dinner. I would often get the Chicken Cajun or the Cheesy Tomato, and it would fill me right up for the rest of the day, expecially during the long winters. Back in 2017 I moved away and never stopped thinking about these amazing soups. I finally was able to come back during a visit home and bring a cup of Chicken Cajun home. Still amazing as ever, especially with oyster crackers.Absolutely recommend if you work in Downtown Portsmouth and need a quick cheap bite during breaks. Thanks for being my favorite soup on earth!! Like other reviews state, it is more of a to-go type place.

Be it hot or cold outside this little place is a slice of heaven! Usually offering 6 or more soups per day with two or three mainstays. Each soup comes with a choice of crackers or a bun. I think they have three sizes from 8 oz up to 16 all very reasonable price wise and all delicious. The only warning...if you are over 62 tip your head as you come in and keep it tilted as the ceilings are very low. Believe they open up around 11am.

Cute little hole in the wall place. They have myriads of soup but each day they are different.I got chicken vegetable and rice which was pretty good. A little pricey, about right under $5 for only an 8oz.

Great little place in downtown Portsmouth. They are not wheelchair accessible due to a large step to get it, but call ahead and theyll bring your soup out. There chicken soup was amazing.

Cozy place to grab some soup. The selection is limited, but quality is good. There are only two seats in the store, so not a place for a group. There is also the juicery next door for seating, but its usually loud there.

I live around the corner from the store in Portsmouth and have gotten various soups there many, many times. The soups have always been delicious which is why I go back so often. This was my first time this year after returning from our winter home and I was disappointed. I got the Haddock Chowder which was excellent and of the usual high quality. But I also got the Cajun Sweet Potato and Chicken soup. I couldnt find any chicken in it. Always with other chicken soups the chicken was generous, but I actually didnt see or taste any in this particular soup.

Very good food, very high price. Delicious lunch....for $14?! Lower your profit margins!
