I am a somewhat overwhelmed homeowner who has begun the daunting task of replacing my 35-year-old kitchen countertops, and have been trying to finish the process of picking out a material and design that I like. After looking at samples in many places in Virginia Beach, I went to Marva 5 days ago, and then again today, to look at slabs of my final choices. I have to say that ALL of the assistance was wonderful, but today a young man named Brian M. was so knowledgeable, accommodating, and patient as he assisted me and answered my MANY questions, I was able to easily finalize my selection.At a time when customer service is sorely lacking, I greatly appreciate the service at Marva Galleria in Portsmouth and will happily share the Marva experience with others. I will also tell them that it is definitely worth the trip!

There is not a better professional in this industry than Debbie. Please, if you visit here ask to work with her! She is the very best. She knows her stuff and is very accommodating. I hope her employers realize how lucky they are to have her. As a professional in the stone industry, I could only dream of having someone like her working for my organization. Marvas showroom is very nice and their stone is competitive as far as pricing goes. They carry Cambria quartz as well - so ask if there are slabs you can view.

Buying granite is a big expense. When I walked in, the girl behind the counter had ZERO personality and came across as very rude. This was on a Saturday, so maybe she was not happy having to work. Besides the “attitude” I had to endure, the selection was poor. I let my husband return the paperwork to the rude employee to prevent me from having to deal with her and we walked out. There are too many places that sell these items so my money will be going elsewhere.
