Amazing service, thorough and accommodating. They took in my husbands motorcycle that I suspected needed only minor work, and when it turned out to be less than minor, Steve sent me a detailed email listing what had been looked at, repaired, and left to be done elsewhere. He went as far as searching enthusiast forums to see what issues plague the Royal Enfield line, and then not only referred me to a shop to do the work, but called them to confirm they work on this particular bike. Payment and coordination of drop off and pick up were all easy online.

A great place to do business. We asked a lot of questions and took a lot of demo rides on different scooters, and then took the night to sleep on it. We ordered the one we wanted online the next morning and they had the scooter ready to go in time for a fun ride to the beach. We highly recommend this business.

Port City came highly recommended to me as a moped repair service. They recently completely rebuilt the engine in my 41-year-old 1979 Honda PA-50II moped. During the entire process Steve at Port City kept me completely informed from the initial estimate, what their findings and recommendations were and the time schedule. They were able to find any missing parts also. I received the engine back on schedule all cleaned up and ready to install. The engine started up easily and has run perfectly. Overall I am very satisfied with Port Citys service.

Port City Mopeds are the best! They fixed my Vespa in record time. While they did the repairs they shared tips and information to keep my Vespa in good shape. Highly recommend Port City Mopeds! I bought my first moped from a friend last year and it needed some work done so I took it right over to Steve where he tuned it up and it rode like a brand new scooter. After storing it for the winter I needed some minor stuff done that wasnt done last year. I remembered the great experience I had last year so I had made an appointment again with him. Steve is the best in the game. Whether you have a brand new scooter, or vintage moped that nobody has ever heard of, Steve will get you moving. Ive never had a question that he hasnt been able to answer, and Ive had a lot. Whether its sourcing parts, getting a tune up, or steering you in the right direction for a new whip, Steves ability with these machines is uncanny. For scoots, mopeds, nopeds, and oddities, there is no shop that I would recommend more than Port City Mopeds.

If you want good advice, you need to speak with a genuine subject matter expert. Now Ive been working on motorcycles for decades, but Ive hardly ever crossed paths with a moped until recently. Just today I stumbled across a cool, old Euro-moped and wasnt completely sure how to assess its true condition. One quick call to Port City Mopeds (I hated to bother them) and I was golden. Even though they had nothing to gain by quickly educating me, they took the time and energy to arm me with the information I needed. Thats the way every business should run, and damn few really do. I pulled in with a problem not regarding a moped. Coming down the road I found a tire on my car was about to fall off. With this being the closest place I pulled in and asked for help tightening my lug nuts. The employee working came right out with a jack and tightened my wheel and checked all the others. The employee was more than willing to help and very kind. Highly recommend for the kindness alone.

Purchased a sweet used Piaggio from Steve about a year ago. Steve (The man that runs Port City Moped) is extremely knowledgeable and through. He will explain exactly whats wrong to you and what he needs to do. Honest guy and wont pull any tricks like some other places. He has worked on my Honda Ruckus twice now and does a very good job. I bought my Tomos Sprint from Port City Mopeds in June 2016 and it’s been great. The Sprint, refurbished, decked out in black and white with a kick starter looks and feels classic and retro. When I pulled out the Sprint after a long winter it started right up and runs great. Steve at Port City is not a sales guy at some dealership selling out of the box mopeds and scooters, he’s a true mechanic who knows and cares about each of these bikes thoroughly. If you want to be an individual and get a personalized bike from a local mechanic then I would recommend going to Port City Mopeds.

I brought my brother-in-laws moped in to get it up and running after it stopped running smoothly. Nihco and Steve did a great job getting it fixed up at a reasonable rate and in a timely manner. Would highly recommend!

My first experience with Port City Peds was admiring the classic retro scooters that good friends had. My friends had high praise for Steve and company. They started using his services years ago when he was earning his Mechanical Engineering degree at UNH. After the stories of exceptional service, I knew if I ever wanted scooters, PCP would be the place to trust. Fast forward to now... I rented two scooters for the day from PCP. Great service, new scooters. By the end of the day, we bought both of them. We purchased two Chinese scooters and the awesome PCP service that makes them better than anything else you can buy. Definitely a great value because the awesome service makes up for any issues from buying Chinese scooters. Steve and Zach have been incredible! I recommend PCP without reservation for new scooters, vintage scooters, and scooter service.

This business is terrible. The business hours posted are completely inaccurate because the owner is practically never available or at the shop. The owner also decided to test drive my vehicle to get coffee when no mechanical work was done on it. Very dissatisfied.
