If I were to tell you that buying a car was a hassle-free, easy, dare I say it... Enjoyable experience... would you believe me? I cant say anything but positive, glowing reviews of the service, treatment, and experience I had with the staff at Findlay Hyundai/Mazda. I went in relatively prepared, which helped, but Paul really was helpful and informative about the car I was looking to purchase. He was friendly, respectful, informative, and thorough. He took me on test drive route that really let me see the full ability of the car. A long drive through S-curves and back roads, a freeway stint, and some city driving. Sabrina in the financing/payment office was also a pleasure to work with. Knowing I was about to buy a car, and thinking I was prepared, its comical to think of everything I forgot (like, that it was a holiday and I couldnt contact my bank or insurance office to get the forms I somehow forgot), and yet she was helpful and flexible. I was impressed with the level of service, the selection on the lot, the way they treated me. I bought a car from Findlay Mazda about two months ago and their service was stellar. This was only my second car, and the first for which Ive needed to take out a loan. I bought a used Subaru from them back in January, I looked over it, took it for a test drive and everything seemed fine. A few weeks later I take it to the local Subaru dealer to get a routine oil change, which turned out to to not be so routine. Turns out my car that I just bought had a major Head Gasket leak. I asked the salesman (Andy) multiple times and even one of the mechanics if all the head gaskets and everything was thoroughly checked before I purchased the car, and he said they replaced them. He even bragged about how they thoroughly check EVERY aspect of the car to make sure its working as it should. That was a $1,800 repair job. Surprisingly, they paid for it and all was good, until I got back to pick up my car and apparently the leak was so bad, the cross hatching was rusted out and I eventually would need a new short block (which they declined Subarus recommendation without letting me know). Which is around $3000. Then soon after that my A/C compressor was apparently bad and making loud needed to be replaced, which is about $900. And a wheel bearing was also bad and needs to be replaced, and that is a $580 replacement. So not only do they lie to you about work that was performed and that they thoroughly check the cars they take in as trade ins and to sure everything is in working order, they sell you a car that needs work put into it thats almost the entire worth of the car. I would NEVER recommend buying a used car from them. Maybe buying a new car is different from them, who knows, I wouldnt trust them after my experience. These guys are really nice people. The negotiation was quick and fair and I LOVE my new Sante Fe. I heard from some friends that the Findlay guys are good to deal with, and they were right. Well see how the truck holds up, but for now, all is good.
The only dealership I trust. I stopped by a few before purchasing my Mazda, and Findlay did a wonderful job of being informative and not being too pushy. I highly recommend this place above all other dealerships and will recommend everyone to Findlay.
Ive only been here for warranty work (ECU and infotainment updates), but if were ever in the market for another new car in the area, Findlay will be our number one stop. Nice waiting area compared to the local competition.
I live in Seattle and was travelling through Idaho late at night when I struck a porcupine with my new Mazda Mx-5. Mazda paid for it to be towed to Findlay, and the General Manager opened the showroom early for me so I could get out of the cold. After I arranged transportation back to Seattle he volunteered an employee to drive me to the Greyhound depot so I could get home. Turns out the car has damage needing body work and replacement, so Findlay is transporting the car to a nearby auto body shop that my insurance will work with. All of this was done cheerfully, without fuss, and most importantly, without any charge whatsoever.When I purchased my Mazda in Seattle I was promised world-class customer service and support if I ever needed it. Findlay made good on that promise and turned a pretty terrible day into a bearable one.
This Dealership is a damn joke. $200 for labor on a $6 part you serious. Thats rediculous. Then we were charged $20 for miscellaneous whatever that crap is. So 3 hours and $259 later my girlfriend was able to leave. I recommend never to do any business with these guys. Go to Dave Smith seriously
These guys are lying snakes. You want a great salesman go to kunudsen Chevy. They wont slither like a snake and actually be professional and truthful and get your needs met and not take forever and then some to get something done. Take my advice or regret it later....
I had gone to multiple new and used car dealers in the CDA/Spokane area. Findlay was the best by a long shot. Kalan was the sales person I dealt with and he was very level headed and respectful of my concerns about price and reliability. I ended up getting a great deal on a Honda Civic!
Worst Car Dealership ever!!! I went in to have my car serviced. Instead of giving me an exact answer as to what was going on I was told I needed to pay almost $200 to change a part and they would see if that fixes it If not then I would have to pay more for more parts and see if that would fix it. Furthermore I was treated as if I was wasting their time and that I was being dumb for not paying for a part. I am going to take my business elsewhere now so that I am not treated with such disrespect.
We are so happy with our Mazda from Findlay, however we did not get good service from the service department. Specifically, we took the car there for five years for every service and oil change. The auto was out of alignment, however the service department did not tell my wife, and therefore the wear on the tires did not last for the expected number of miles. When she told them, they said that this must have been her fault. We will not go there again. Trusted them with our new auto and we feel that we were let down.

Bought 2 new cars within a couple of weeks and could not say enough about the service from start to finish. Almost bought the second one at Miller in Spokane but quickly learned that the salesman was not forthcoming. Called Findlay to see if they could match the price we were expecting and got an affirmative answer. Why we went to Miller in the first place, still baffles me. Thought we were getting a good deal. It didnt turn out that way. I had to profusely apologize to the Finflay people for my shortsightedness.

Read the posts below similar experience nice and friendly until you buy the car then they refuse to do warranty work and find every excuse to charge you for something that should be under warranty. They love to blame Chrysler Mazda and make it seem like it is their fault but you dont have to get customer service approved from the manufacturer. You have been warned dont buy your vehicle here unless you plan on never coming back or want to feel like a valued customer. John the general manager is no help either. brakes should not squeal on a brand new car and the seat should not go to the floor when you sit in it on a brand new car. they tried to tell me this is normal when I only weigh 180lbs. they refused to replace my seat just replace the cushion and said that is all they can do. they obviously have no idea how a seat works and that there is more to a seat than just a cushion like the frame and Springs that hold the cushion.

Worst customer service ever. I got shipped the wrong part. The name of the part was very misleading. Apart from that they never pick up their phone calls. I had to email them a couple times for them to actually email me back. Dont recommend this website for ordering parts.
Very bad experience will never ever go back again. Went in for a misfire check engine light spent over 800 dollars and never got the the problem fixed. They kept turning off the light manually and i returned probably 4 times and everytime they were telling me it was something new. I ended up cleaning out a sensor and bam problem solved. Why didnt they look at the simple solutions? Oh well shame on me for spending that sort of money will never go back again.
