Choosing and renting a unit was extremely simple online, and I was provided unit details and access instructions very quickly. The facility is clean, bright, and easy to access. Ive only been a renter for a couple days, but so far the experience has been very positive and met my expectations!

This is our 3rd time renting here and we have always been very satisfied. Rhonda was so very helpful in helping us find just the right unit for our needs. Seamless operation.

I was looking online for a climate control space in my area. I finally found one available nearby. When I tried to reserve it for some reason the process didn’t complete. I tried a few times then decided to call Extra Space. I explained my problem to Brandon of the Poughkeepsie South Road office. He was on a break and said he would call me back as soon as he was back in the office. He called me back about 5 minutes later and was able to reserve the last climate control room for me. He thoroughly explained the contract and instructed me where to sign online. He answered all of my questions. I went to my new storage space that afternoon and found my lock there but I needed a screw driver to set up the password. I called Brandon and he immediately cameto assist me. He was so customer focused, helpful, and very obliging. I recommend Extra Space Storage since their employees are very helpful and go out of their way to assist their customers.

Brendan N. Was AMAZING!!! He made the process of getting a storage unit super easy and quick!! He had us all set and ready in no time at all!! Gave great directions on how to find out unit and it was perfect!

I had an amazing experience at the Poughkeepsie location on Route 9. Facility is extremely clean and secure. The staff is also amazing and provides the best service. It was a pleasure being assisted by Borge Brenden and Ronda (I apologize if I spell your names incorrectly). I highly recommend this company, especially this location. :)

I called Extra Space in a rush to secure some storage, and I encountered Rhonda on the other end of the phone. She is exceptionally helpful, personable and energetic. She told me that she thought that at the last minute a 4x5 unit—perfect for what I needed—had become available, and she immediately went to check on it, calling me back within five minutes to tell me it was free. Very efficient and customer centric. The postscript: I’m usually skeptical when someone who’s just sold me something tells me, “don’t worry, it’s easy”, but when I went to drop off the things that needed to be stored, everything, including the entry procedures, the appropriateness of the unit for my needs, where it was located and where the lock was left, was exactly as advertised. I spoke with Brendan and Rhonda who were both lifesavers and so kind. Units are so sparse everywhere right now and I was stressed to the max. The whole process of securing a unit with them was quick and transparent. Rhonda gave me thorough instructions and definitely eased my anxiety. One less thing to worry about right now! Definitely recommend calling them to see if they have an opening, it’s worth a shot.

I found this location in a pinch and they have been nothing less than helpful. I had to relocate on short notice and they had a space big enough to fit my apt. I would definitely recommend them

I made a reservation for a smaller unit although I wanted a larger one, but it was not available. When Brian contacted me the following day to welcome me and ask if I had any questions he told me that one larger unit will be available that day and if the renters vacate it he will let me know. And sure he did! Amazing customer service - not only he was willing to help me out, but he actually kept his promise and called me back to let me know that the unite is free if I am still interested. I was super happy because I didn’t have to move my stuff from one to the other - we updated the contract over the phone, I sign it on line and I was ready to use it. Thank you Brian! I cancelled a unit I had lined up and decided to change to Extra Space because of the great customer service from the start. Extra Space had the current size I had with another place and after looking around the size I needed.My comparison shopping online faced some hurdles as the first place only listed prices for what they had available. ExtraSpace like many others had prices for everything. Extra Space and the current places were the most comparable in price.However, the great customer service from calling the 800 number was refreshing. Even better Rhonda, the GM of Poughkeepsie followed up right away and was super helpful! Calling back to finalize things I was hesitant for a second but Brendan was just as helpful as Rhonda (day off). What an organized team as she left notes and both were a pleasure to work with!Not happy about moving but I am more at ease storing my belongings with Rhonda and Brendan!!!!

Brendan was incredibly helpful! We had issues accessing space we booked at the uhaul storage next door, and Brendan took care of us and was very friendly and professional. I wish we’d come here straight away instead of trying uhaul. Definitely recommend.

I had a great experience with Extra Space Storage. Brendan and Rhonda were very helpful and accommodating especially on short notice. They worked with me to get the best value in size and price. They answered all of my questions and I felt no pressure whatsoever. Brendan told me that the price would go up after 3 months but it went up to rates that other storage facilities start at.The facilities were clean. The climate control was perfect. I felt that the place was secure with the security code required to get into the building. The carts were very helpful as well. My total length of stay was 7 months and it was all worth it.

The property is well-monitored and the storage units are well-maintained. The customer service was excellent as well, both on the phone and in person. Particularly Rhonda, the staff member who greeted us, was patient, informative, and answered any questions we had. A convenient choice of storage and highly recommended.

When you walk in the staff gives off a very warm and welcoming feeling. My mother isn’t into the newer technology and Rhonda the assistant store manager was ENTIRELY patient and very helpful.
