One of the few remaining true antique malls with high quality dealers. Plenty of free parking. Easy to find . Huge selection two full floors of eclectic antiques and collectables. Many cases full of fun smalls. A bit pricey but high quality goods. Sadly closing this year after several decades of service.
We did not plan long enough to uncover all the treasures this cool antique store has too offer. Next time we go, and there will be a next time, I want to stay until I see it all! Each dealer has there areas set up so beautifully that the whole feel of the place is amazing. Wide range in price of collectables, jewelry, decorative pieces, and much more. A must see!
Really friendly staff! Loved looking, but its a higher budget antique mall. Most items I saw downstairs were more than $200 and upstairs almost everything I saw was around $50 and above. Nice pieces! Just nothing in my price range.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!! It has such a wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. Always find little treasures here! So sorry they are closing at the end of this year!
This was a very generic Johnson County antique store. Several booths had the same finds and it was nearly impossible to find a bargain. Their selection of 1950-1970 was almost non existent if thats what youre into. They took the magic out of antique shopping at this location. Go to the antique mall in River Market if you want something worthwhile and exciting.
It is mind blowing huge. With tons of stuff to look at and buy. Very beautifully laid out and organized. Great staff on hand to help with all your needs.
This is a beautiful antique mall. Its huge and has a lovely atmosphere. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. This is more on the expensive side, so if youre looking for flea market pricing, this is not the place, but it is still affordable. I have never walked out empty handed!
There are so many interesting booths to look thru and each one has many unique items. Its such a fun place to wander, whether youre looking for something particular or not.Ive seen posts about high prices. I dont agree. Its an Antique mall, not a Flea market! Prices are no higher than a dusty mall near Osceola.
I go out of my way when traveling to shop at this large, has everything antique mall. You can find pieces for $5 to $25,000 here. I bought an old grandmothers clock (1911) and an old, well-preserved, Rudyard Kipling book last time I stopped in. There is a nice restaurant there for your convenience and enjoyment too!
This place is HUGE! The staff was very nice and helpful. I found a large assortment of things ranging from extremely nice to very moderately priced. I didnt try to the cafe, but maybe someday! I will be back.
Very expensive, a lot of nice old items but given the neighborhood this was what was expected. They had a dog days of summer sale so there were several values to be had, they have a huge amount of space and it took several hours to cover everything, Went with family and they were able to find several items and there was a lot of really amazing things to look at but if you dont have a good sized budget then you may not be able to do anything more the drool...
Having moved from Maryland to Kansas City, I found Mission Road Antique Mall to be as sophisticated and rich with the true antique furniture & collectible items I am so fond of. I highly recommend anyone who really has a passion for antiques to visit Mission Road Antique Mall. Be sure to give yourself enough time to tour the entire shop because it is enormous!
Such a great place! Went in for a hair comb and was very suprised by the amazing inventory of beautifully kept items. I found a necklace and the hair comb I wanted and upon check out I was greeted by a very nice gentlemen that took the time to show me a few more cases just in case there was another option I might like. He went on to give me more information and was very thorough and I could tell he truely loves his work. Thanks for brightening up my day!
Love this place. Its almost like a museum. Very neat and clean.
Plan most of a day because this place is HUGE! The prices are a bit high on most things, but you can get a decent deal sometimes. Ive found some great treasures in here!
Disliked is not accurate but there is no disappointed rating. We have visited and purchased from Mission Road Antique Mall for many years. Today, Jan 31, 2016, we were so disappointed. Since when did crafts become part of antiques. We didnt realize that King size beds were antique or even vintage. We are sorry we went and will go somewhere else for our antique purchases.
Friendly, helpful staff. Great place to find a wide variety of antiques and interesting items.
I love how MRAM is a huge antique mall without being too organized. I think that antique shops should be cluttered (in a good way), and MRAM meets this criterion. Also, with so many booths, there are all sorts of items. I can always come across something interesting.
Best mall in the state. Hope you secure a new location
I love it!! So many beautiful things to look at. Definitely going back.
Lots of high end quality pieces, huge inventory. Staff is great, impressive operation!
Everyone knows by now one of the gratest locations is closing. Good luck every body involved in the stunning success and the long run.
Lots of really neat Knick knacks, but prices are pretty high.
This was the most wonderful antique mall in all of Kansas. Devastated to see it go.
Exceptionally overpriced on nearly everything. Many vendors are not antique at all.
You could spend hours in here. Great finds.
Best collection of gorgeous vintage jewelry, furs, and St. John clothing. Sometimes I have to chuckle because the prices are incrediblely low,I have always have everything appraised. Most items are at least 4x the purchase price! The mall is beautifully decorated. The staff is friendly and can give you all the-information about the sellers and the goods.I bought a set of 40 Cossack porcelain lunch pelted rimmed with platinum and fired both navy and burgundy Cossack warriors brandishing cutlasses on horseback. Horses are my favorite animals. I rode Seagrams gorgeous dapple gray Saskespeare with black mane and tail in the1978 Olympics. Our team swept the competition and we won golds and silvers. The plates cost $35 each. My dining room is decorated with navy and burgundy velvet drapes from ceiling to floor and my Sheriton table which seats 12. I have antique Farsi rugs on the walls and under the table. My table his covered with velvet table cloth woven to mimic the rugs. The plates are on the wall and the rest of them are on the table. We entertain a lot.My porcelain is Royal Doltoun in navy and burgundy. They are rimmed in platinum. The table linen is woven to mimic the rugs. I do all my own decorating.I have nothing in our home that we dont find beautiful and utile. Sorry this is so long but this store has truly enriched our lives.Going there always brings in new and exciting things. We visit about once a month and I check the site frequently each week. When I find something wonderful, the staff lays them aside. As long time customers, we always get extra discounts.I have found several Lalique chandeliers which are all around our home. Our crystal is Lalique and Waterford and Cartier and Tiffany and Anchor Hocking in matching colors.Sorry again that this is so long, if you havent been in before it is well worth the trip!!!
Open house with treats, today. They close in December 18!
Closing at end of year. It will be missed
You can always find something special here; either for yourself or as a gift. They have items to fit any price range.
My favorite antique shop, I try to stop by every time I come to KC
Unfortunately, they are closing
Nice
