This is the third time they have cancelled last minute on me. Doesnt matter that my appointment was booked weeks to months out. Their response is oh well sorry we had something come up. After reading reviews it is apparent they knew this was going to happen but still waited until last minute. Now I cant get an appointment anywhere else. Ridiculous! If they are under staffed its understandable but their appointment scheduling should reflect this and adjust. If I didnt have passed I already paid for I wouldnt try returning. Maybe one day they will keep their end of the agreement.

Kimberly was my waxer and she was fantastic. She was prompt, friendly, and did an awesome job on my service. I’m excited to continue having her as my esthetician.

Before today, I had come here once before and my service was fine. Nothing super special, but it was good. I figured I would try it again, and made an appointment for today at 4:15 PM. I arrived on time, checked in, and was informed by the woman at front desk that my waxer was running 15-20 minutes behind because she had “just taken another client back”... at my appointment time?! I let her know that was not acceptable and that I would like to cancel my service. Asked her why I wasn’t notified and she told me because it “just happened”. If running behind with no notice and disregarding the appointment times of customers is how you choose to run your business, I won’t be returning.

I’ve had to reschedule three times because they cannot keep staff. I was fine with everything until they told me I would be top priority for an opening. They forgot then all the sudden, they had an 11:45 the day mine was cancelled. I texted 4 minutes later saying I’ll come in but please update me next time sooner. I then got a text saying the time was already booked. It seems like a bunch of people who can’t deal with business anxiety and won’t apologize or compensate for messing your time slot up. I’ve been a customer there for almost a year, booking an expensive service. I will not go here again.

If I could give zero stars with my review, I would! My original appointment was scheduled for the 13th, but priorities changed, so I rescheduled to move my appointment up. Get to the place, door is locked. Nice young lady comes to tell me theres no one available to do my wax and I shouldve received a call or text yesterday. Well, I didnt. Of course no one is available to get me in today anywhere else, so I have to take time during my busy week to get it done. Oh yea, on my way back home, 30 minutes away, I get a text from them saying I missed my appointment and need to reschedule. Im sorry, but I will never be back.

I have been using this location for going on a year now, and I have finally had enough of their consistent decline in quality service. I just got done showing up for my scheduled appointment to be informed that nobody is available, my waxer quit, and they dont have anything for 3 weeks. On top of that, I purchased the (scam is what I now consider it) wax pass, so I have prepaid services that I have NO INTEREST in receiving. The wax jobs are average, if not sub-par, its rushed and its honestly overpriced. Save yourself the trouble of going home with wax left between your cheeks and more! Go anywhere else but European wax

I went and got a wax by Alyssa at this location and I’ve had several waxes before but she has been my favorite person so far! Definitely going to be one of her regulars from now on!

I tried to switch to this EWC location a few months ago and each time the customer service was bad. They are not on time, its frustrating showing up on time and having to wait. I also had a wax specialist who tortured me because she kept using small strips in the same area over and over again (took so much time, and it was painful). I tried going maybe 3 times and then finally gave up after they randomly cancelled my appointment one day. I ended up going back up north to the Zona Rosa location as that is much more organized. Would recommend that location instead!

I never went my coupon expired 30th and I has to cancel my original appointment scheduled for the 26th so I was told they didnt have anymore openings for me, very disappointed

Missed half of the hair-so now I just look patchy and one of the most painful waxes that I have had. It was painful because the wax specialist would pull the wax off half way and then go again and pull away super slowly. Go anywhere else.

I go there whenever I need my nose hair removed. I look so much better after it is done.

So my daughter has been going to this place for awhile and love the services that she has been getting up until she cancel her wax passes because she is leaving town and will not return for sixteen weeks... Tell me why they charged her card twice for the amount of $121. And they havent even given her refund from her last visit on top of that.

I had a Brazillian with Cassie and it was the best waxing experience I have ever had. So easy to talk to and she made me feel very comfortable. She did an excellent job and exceeded my expectations- if you go, ask for Cassie!!

Run dont walk away from this place. At one time this was my daughters and my go-to place. Hannah was our wax specialist and she was AMAZING!!! Shes since left and it is not the same. The unprofessionalism stems from the top down. My daughter and I had an appointment with Hannah and 1.5 hours before our appointment I get a text message that my daughter is being moved to another unknown wax specialist and my appointment is canceled. WHAT?!? When I call to inquire Im told Your wax specialist let us know at the last minute that she was no longer with the company. First of all why are you sharing that with me as the customer?!? I have nothing to do with that and that doesnt account for why I didnt receive a phone call but instead was notified via text message in such a short time before our appointments. When I expressed dissatisfaction with the way this whole thing was being handled, I was told they had other customers on the phone and so did I want to keep my daughters appointment and reschedule mine. Obviously - NO WAY, THANK YOU! I told them Id like to be contacted by a manager which takes at least 3-5 days. Ridiculous! When I was finally able to speak to a manager, Kimber I could clearly see why all the wax specialists that were talented made a mass exodus from this place. She contacted me and tried to use big words she couldnt pronounce properly and attempted to talk over me the whole time. She kept trying to get me to try another wax specialist and was very cold and not understanding when I told her my daughter and I have tried others and werent happy with the service. The waxer I tried burned my skin with the wax and my daughter felt uncomfortable with one she tried due to her focusing on touching unnecessary areas while waxing. This had never happened to her before. Also, the wax service we get is in an intimate area so its not ideal to keep trying others - hoping theyll get it right. She only wanted to offer me a credit when I clearly expressed for various reasons I no longer wanted to remain a customer because its obvious theyre unable to provide me with the service experience I deserve and had become accustomed to. She stated Thats on you instead of trying to work with me and make this horrible experience with extenuating circumstances RIGHT. Listen, go to this place at your own risk and definitely refrain from purchasing a wax pass or special promotion from this business, whatever you do. I MEAN it. They will try to throw you whoever is available if for any reason your wax specialist is unavailable and hold your money hostage. Then try to convince you theyre right by shoveling you their corporate agenda all with lackluster customer service, unprofessional demeanor and uncaring attitude. Youve been warned!!!! By the way one star is a joke at this point, if I could give this place -1000 stars I would.

I had an appointment with Hannah today at this location and it was by far the least painful appointment I’ve ever had. She was so gentle and a sweetie! Very pleasant experience💞

I came here for the first time because a friend referred me, but I was very dissatisfied with my overall first and last experience here. I came ten minutes early to my appointment, and the specialist was about 30 minutes late. I understand that sometimes people run late. However, there was no notification given by the front desk staff that she was running late, and the specialist didnt even apologize or show any remorse.After being upset about the lack of customer service the appointment became worse. The whole process was uncomfortable: bright fluorescent lighting in my face, the specialist was not gentle whatsoever, and it wasnt done correctly! She was more worried about getting the service over. I was livid.After the service the specialist said I could get a few free samples. When I proceeded to checkout I was charged for a product that I did not even purchase which resulted in 3x the original cost. I also got ONE free sample, not a few. There were a few days of phone tag; either there was no manager on site or they were busy. The only compensation that was offered was 5 strut points toward a future appointment. I explained to her the whole story, and Elizabeth stated that there was nothing else she could do. I will not be going back.I do not recommend.

I can’t be more clear about this: my experience at European Wax Center was fantastic. They use a was that hardens and is pulled off without strips or anything. It’s crazy fast and hardly painful at all. I’d had bikini waxes at Beauty Brands and a Spa before and it hurt so bad I was really dreading it, but I wanted that sweet swimsuit bod for a trip and HAD to do it, but I was really dreading it.The staff was friendly, sweet, and efficient, and I immediately booked my next one. Highly recommend.

Our beloved brow specialist moved to this location from a chain beauty store. What a much improved experience! Truly spa-like for the same price as we were paying previously. Book your appointment with Delilah...she is amazing! My daughter has (shall we say) ample brows to work with and Delilah keeps them as one of her best features. :)

I typically get waxed in Leawood, KS when I visit home but I must say that this visit was one for the books! Ms. Tina gave me the best wax that I’ve EVER had & it didn’t hurt one bit! Had an appointment at 915. I went inside to check in and was notified that a text was sent to me 7 mins before my appointment, which I would have been driving there and didnt receive, that my appointment was cancelled. Never been here before and will never even try or recommend this place. This is very inconsiderate since I have 4 small children and arranged daycare for them just for this appointment. Super disappointed.

Staff is always friendly (for the most part) and I have had great experiences with the wax specialist!I have been seeing Hannah for the last 6 or so months and I have never had any issues. She is extremely professional/friendly and always making sure I am comfortable during this (extremely awkward) process.They will mention their membership programs but never make you feel obligated in purchasing.I highly recommend anyone looking for a quick wax at a business that does not make you feel uncomfortable or pressured into buying memberships to come here!!!

Yesterday was my 3rd appt and I’ve been satisfied since my first visit! Was a little nervous at first and the front desk staff along with my tech Tina made me feel as comfortable as I could have ever felt. Super friendly and nice!

I do not have a reference point for hair removal, but my experience was good. Painful, but thats to be expected. The staff was nice, equipment clean, and procedure sanitary. The esthetician used a new stick each time she obtained more wax.

The technician was very patient, professional, and informative. She made my first experience a very pleasant one.

I have had the BEST experience ever at European Wax with Veilia!!!Seriously, she was super quick, and EVERY hair was GONE on my Brazilian!!I’ve been getting them done since I was 18 and let me tell you I’ve had many times where there’s a few straggler hairs, but not this time!She double checked and I’m now as smooth as a newborns baby bottom!I will definitely be REBOOKING with her in May!!! The wax itself is always pretty decent, but no matter which location I go to, the wax technicians are extremely pushy about selling their products. From the time you enter the building to when you leave, they really put the hard sell on you. Waxing is a luxury to me. I get that the company is trying to turn a profit and each tech is simply trained to sell the items, but it is very off-putting. No matter how politely I decline, they continue to try to make the sale. It turns the luxury into an uncomfortable situation. Will be trying to find a wax salon that doesnt treat its costumers like walking bags of money.

Very friendly welcoming ladies at the front desk, answered any questions I had. Delilah did my wax and was friendly, thorough, & did a good job making a full bikini wax a tolerable experience. Will be back!

Esthetician staff are wonderful, but are unfortunately poor front desk staff. Front desk staff talked about the customers. Made fun of customers talked about personal business while busy. I got the pleasure of sitting and watching this for over a hour. Front desk people where eating.. at the counter..

Had an appt today for a Brazilian wax, came in thinking my appointment was with Delilah. (Which is who I always ask for). Come to find out my appointment was with Hannah, Im thinking it was a misunderstanding and Delilah would be able to do it. But turns out she was booked and didnt have any availability till a few days from now, so I went ahead and had Hannah do my wax. Worse decision ever, I walked in and she had the messiest station really dont want to walk into pubes or hair all over the floor.. and it hurt like hell, (Delilah always made it so comfortable and quick.) And to top it off, I come home and realized I still had wax all over my area and even got stuck onto my panties, and had serval long hairs still, did the worse job ever. So Im hoping tomorrow when I call the manager we can figure something out to help with all this mess that happened today. Other than that I recommend this place 100%, WITH DELILAH. My fav personally. She has a clean area, and an awesome attitude and doesnt make it so painful.. and the receptionist all are wonderful and the place is always clean.Update: Spoke with the Manager and she was very nice, scheduled me with Delilah today at 4:30pm. ☺️

You Can count on me not coming back ever. My eyebrows were already shaped, they just grew out a little bit and needed to be cleaned up and trimmed. I asked her to shape them they way they already were and she didnt. Now my eyebrows look ridiculous and they are not even, and she missed an entire spot.

I dont plan on going back to this place. Not a very personable experience.
