No longer a loyal customer. Over the last few years I have spent over 50k at Home Depot. I have encountered a few unfriendly employees from time to time, but nothing to this degree. I recently had an issue with a material I needed for a project that I was in the middle of being discontinued. When I reached out to the store for help, I was surprised by their complete lack of professionalism, compassion and even common courtesy. I could not even get anyone to answer a simple question. I was transferred over and over again to the pro desk where a rude gentlemen cut me off mid sentence and said he would call me back...he never did... and I tried twice. When I finally called the national number for help, they informed me that even though other stores in different areas carried the material I needed, they had no mechanism to ship store to store. BUYER BEWARE! If Home Depot stops carrying something you need, they will not warn you, they will not help you and they could care less. I am now literally left with a half finished project that has taken years to complete. I will never set foot in this Home Depot again and would strongly advise you to shop elsewhere.
