I had actually planned to drive down to Phoenix to get my piercings done, but decided to just take a look at the reviews for local shops first. What I noticed about Leap of Faith is that unlike a lot of places, the same names come up in reviews as far back as there are reviews. A place like this doesn’t stay in business that long with the same people working there unless they’re clean, professional, and good at what they do, so honestly even “bad” reviews are good information (and we all know Karens are more likely to write a review than someone who had a positive experience). I called to make an appointment, and got lucky that there was time that same day. Brian did my piercings and was totally professional, did a great job with placement, explained all the aftercare thoroughly…and even knew to stick close and keep an eye on me for a little longer than normal, which was good because I had a delayed reaction and needed to lay down for a minute. It’s obvious he has a ton of experience and is on top of his game. I waited to write this review—I had the piercings done 6 weeks ago, and they are healing perfectly. I’ll definitely be going back for jewelry and any other work I decide to have done!

Guy there is super rude, not helpful at all either. Doesn’t answer questions and just tells you to deal with it yourself. Doesn’t prepare you for piercings and doesn’t tell you how to treat them either… terrible service. Went to hold fast down the street and they were very nice though, totally recommend

My daughter and I had our first tattoos done yesterday by Brian. A very good experience and great finish tattoos. Brian was very professional and answered our questions putting our nervousness to rest. I would go back without hesitation and recommend LOF 100%.

So I brought my 9 year old in to get her ears done. Saw Brian again. We got a warm welcome after he was done with some tire kickers. He called our daughter and started the process. She was very nervous. Brian was soft-spoken and methodical with everything he did. Communicated every step of the way with my daughter easing her anxiety.He made jokes made her laugh, and it seemed to break the ice. he takes the time to make sure that theyre lined up geometrically with her face. He lays her down and tells her how to breathe, never making any sudden movements. He communicated with her every step of the way. Boom the first one was in and she didnt even flinch. He checked with my daughter to see how she was doing and she was doing great. Few minutes passed and boom second one went in.Before she knew what she was done.He explained to our daughter and the wife and I about the after care.He said if there was any issues dont hesitate to reach out to him.We will be back in.

Ans was amazing.. she took my families art work and created such a beautiful piece for me. Years in the making. Her art work is truly one of a kind. Super easy to talk to. Made the 5 hour sitting easy to get through.. Brian was a help to chat with towards the end. These are great people ! Neat little shop!!

Youre probably better off trying a walk-in. I called over a month ago to make an appointment for a piercing (because I live pretty far from the shop trying to do a walk-in wasnt really a good option) but unfortunately, they never got back to me. I understand that they had just reopened after COVID but still it would have been nice to have my call returned. I might try again in the future as my naval is still unpierced but in all honesty the lack of communication is not a good sign. That being said they appear to do beautiful work if you can actually get it done.

Ans was an incredible artist before becoming a tattoo artist. And it shows in her work. Ive been in Prescott for two years and havent found anyone to do the quality of work I appreciated back home in Washington.Ans took my concept drawing and made it into the perfect tattoo, with perfect sizing and placement, and choice and use of color.She was enjoyable to sit with and incredibly professional. Tattoo healed perfectly with no scabbing and looks amazing.Im already working on my next tattoo, and Leap of Faith will be getting my money!

I have called TWICE and stopped in once for a piercing and was told both times they would call back and for me in or get me an apt and HAVE NEVER CALLED ME BACK. Some way to treat potential clients. Also their hours on their door and Facebook are wrong. They arent open to 8 on Friday and Saturday.

I got my Septum pierced here about 1.5 months ago and unfortunately Covid-19 hit right after I got it done so I haven’t been able to go in for a check up on how it’s healing but overall he did an amazing job, was quick and kept me updated on everything going on, answered all of my questions and concerns and, like I said overall it was amazing and I’m in love with my piercing! Definitely going back for another when I’m able to

I went to Leap of Faith to get my first tattoo, and it certainly was not a good experience. After the tattoo healed, I returned on multiple occasions asking if it could please be touched up since it healed very patchy. The artist who did it is Brian. He seemed nice the first time, but after I asked for a touch up he became very rude and seemed inconvenienced that I would ask. I went in to ask if he could do it when no customers were in and he directed me to come in the next day at 4pm. Well sure enough when I walked in he already had four appointments ahead of me at that exact time (so he knew hed be busy). He did not acknowledge my presence when I walked in the shop. Ans Taylor (the other artist who works there) actually noticed how long I had been waiting and spoke to me. She seems very nice. I do not mind waiting in line and being patient, the issue was how Brian behaved and handled the situation. After waiting for at least an hour I decided I was done. I went to a tattoo shop in Flagstaff to get it touched up and the artist told me Brian pushed way too deep and over-scarred my tattoo to an unhealthy point. He told me it was not my fault that it healed in such a way. I highly recommend if you are looking for quality work to not go to Brian for it.

I went in to buy some new nose rings and had a few questions about sizing and how to get my piercings to heal properly since I was having some issues. Brian helped answer all my questions and explained to me some solutions that would solve the problems that I was having. He was very kind and patient, helped me find the right jewelry and gave me some cool stickers they had in the shop so I left happy. Ill be coming back around when Im wanting another tattoo or piercing!

Me and my girlfriend stopped in spontaneously in yesterday and the owner and the amazing tattoo artist were super professional and personalable. The tattoos came out amazing especially since we only had general ideas when going in! I also got my eyebrow pierced a second time and I love it.

I got a tattoo here in 2013. A simple wrist tattoo. There was only one guy working at the time that I walked in without an appointment. We went over what I wanted done and he immediately went to work. I have had tattoos before that didnt feel nearly this terrible. It felt like he was bearing down as hard as possible to get it over with as soon as possible. Anyways, he went over the after care and I was on my way. It stayed scabbed for much longer than any of my other tattoos and had to be bandaged constantly. I returned to my regular tattoo artist in jerome a couple weeks later and he told me that the guy had tattooed too deep and that it would most likely scar. He offered to cover it up once it healed but I declined because I was moving. Once it fully healed it looked bad. Raised skin and spotty ink. Now 3 years later it looks just as horrible. It just looks like a giant raised scar. The ink is faded and lettering is barely visible despite my diligent upkeep. I cant wait to get it covered up. He was apparently in such a hurry that he couldnt do it the right way. Will not be going back.

Worst tattoo ever cant even spell simple words and cant be fixed stuck for life at 400 bucks!!! Shady from start to finish was quoted 225 in begining hundreds of other places much better

My wife and I went there as a part of our honeymoon and she got a tattoo for her brithday. The color work blew me away. Two years later and it still looks great.

Did not deliver, the tattoo looked like a bunch of half eaten cookies instead of the phases of the moon (even with plenty of pictures for reference). Should make them pay for laser removal.

Was in town gave your shop a try . Brian did names for me did Great work . Came back . Patrick did horrible work, it was a surprise for my wife, he scarred my hand, dug into my skin. He wasnt consistent with the letters. I wouldnt recommend Patrick. .
