I make it up to Prescott from Phoenix maybe once a year with Spice Traveler only my list of places to visit. So its unfortunate that I need to give this place a 1 star and write this review. My friend and I had the intention to buy a specific spice from the store, but wanted to smell it and regardless... would of liked it in a bulk size (assuming that was an option) from one of the large containers from behind the counter. My friend approached the counter to ask to smell the spice before purchasing it. The associate behind the counter made eye contact with her, then turned her head to start a conversation with another associate without saying a word to my friend. Even I was ignored by a completely separate associate after that. The store is amazing with a great selection but the associates working at the time are not desirable people and would go even as far as to assume managements failure to ensuring associates engage with customers.

Its a pretty amazing store with an unbelievable variety of herbs and spices and random gift. Some really beautiful Crystal. Only complaint, no ones enforcing The covid-19 mask policy. Some customers with masks, and some without.

The coolest shop in downtown Prescott. I LOVE it. The store is open, airy and spotlessly clean. Tons of the most interesting things. Spices, herbs, pastas, salsas, jams, unique decor, nothing is run-of-the-mill here. Good prices. And a whole wall of tea! I bought the Evening on Whiskey Row blend that smelled like sarsaparilla. Super tasty. Love it. I also bought Winter in Preskit, a black tea with the perfect amount of spice and fruit. If youre like me, and you like really good tea, theirs is the best. Super fresh, and a variety of unique blends. They also have Firehouse Coffee Shop located in the same area, and Olive U Naturally, an Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar store everyone raves about. Six different shops here, lots to see. Cooking classes as well. Great place.

Really great store! I love looking around. I bought several smallish things to add to gift Im prepping for nieces wedding gift - really nice small gifts that you just really like but dont want to spend the money when youre young and dont have the money. Also bought several things for myself. My favorite is the pocket purse - or some name like that. It has a magnetic closure you keep it attached to your clothes. I really like it.Staff are friendly and enthusiastic. Love this store. So fun!

I love this unique and wonderful store! So many choices of spices, teas, yummy food! My favorite spices include Vinnie the Knuckles and Taco Loco. Ill never need to buy store bought taco seasonings that have tons of additives and preservatives because of the fresh ground spices in Taco Loco! Check this place out!!

Have an awesome selection of everything you can think of and more. They are very helpful if there is something specific your looking for ask. They have it. Many sauces, marinades, oils, what not. Then go down stairs and have some mead. I love the home for the holidays especially for Thanksgiving turkey. They changed the name but same flavor.

I get most of my spices here; keeping my cash local plus there is so much to choose from and it is all high quality! Much more than one store now; Coffee, Mead, Olive oils and balsamic vinegars, Hand-made chocolate, and local art! Spend some time in here or youll be sorry to have missed something unique.Updated to include the new Bakery in place on the first floor, and the County seat where the ballroom used to be. Come by for Chef Debs delicious Baked goods under the mezzanine and a unique modern atmosphere Upstairs!

Along with Bills Pizza, This place is a MUST VISIT every time my wife and I are in Prescott! Great coffee, good pastries, interesting knickknacks, and of course... the seasons, spices, and teas. Highly recommend... smoked pepper for red meats and the pumpkin spice in pancakes, waffles, morning beverages, etc. We get our refills every year.

Love this place! With so many unique spices, sauces, and other cooking goods, any individual who enjoys cooking could spend an hour or more looking through everything. They are also really good at working with suppliers to procure goods that are out of stock or hard to find. I stock up here whenever I get up to Prescott.

The Spice Traveler is inside The Capital Market on Gurley St across from the Courthouse. It has an excellent selection of spices, teas, unique serving dishes and mugs, a shared space, it includes “Firehouse Coffee” and sitting area with WiFi... downstairs is the Superstition Meadery, worth a visit anytime. We bought dishes (not inexpensive) but we haven’t seen them anywhere else. The teapot was lovely and had a removable strainer for loose tea leaves...The staff was knowledgeable about the spices and when I asked for a specific “herb” (not spice) they gave me the names of two places that carry it ... (a very helpful gesture on their part).

Dont buy your spices at name brand grocery stores! The Spice Traveler has what your looking for and more! All fresh, all reasonably priced. In fact, the prices beat the grocery store in many cases. They also have herbs, teas, syrups, dressings & marinades. When you go the first time, plan to spend a couple of hours there - itll be worth it!

A bright and airy specialty-foods store that specializes in high quality exotic spices and spice blends from around the world along with a dizzyingly-vast selection of gourmet delicacies, sweets, sauces, confiture, preserves, salsas, hot sauces, and dozens upon dozens of other temping treats. The friendly and helpful staff are always happy to answer any questions about their stores goods. One could spend an hour browsing Spice Travelers wares and still want to come back the next day for more! The shop is located in a beautifully renovated brick building on Prescotts courtyard square in historic Downtown Prescott; a city that somehow manages to remain quaint and picturesque while boasting a vibrant community of locally-owned businesses, restaurants and nightlife proprietors. Spice Traveler is a fantastic addition to this colorful and eclectic neighborhood.

Spice Trader / Old Capital Market is a great shop along Gurley Street in downtown Prescott. Located across from the courthouse square, this is a spot for both locals and for tourists. They have a large selection of spices, marinades, salsas and too many other market items to list. They have great gifts items, kitchen wares and GELATTO that will knock your socks off. There is also a resturant in the bottom which we have not had the pleasure to try out yet, but have been told by famoly that visits from out of state that the meadery resturant is amazing.
