I have to say that I had the best experience at the vision center today. I was driving to Lake Powell from Idaho Falls and I had an emergency where I needed to get some contacts fast. The staff at the vision center was extremely helpful and made my day 100% better! I’ve got to give a shoutout to my girl Alyse - she deserves a raise, a promotion, hell she deserves a paid vacation for the way she handled my situation today!

My fiancé wanted to buy a new pair of glasses and since we live in Price, Walmart was one of the few local areas to do so. He was having some issues with their billing department and he had called his insurance company before going back a second time. His provider then called the optical department themselves and said they had spoken with someone named Hillary who worked there and told them his insurance would fully cover the cost. We went in the next day and were then told that his insurance was not accepted there. When my fiancé told the associates that hed been assured by Hillary in their department that it was covered, a few of them actually laughed at us and sarcastically said, Oh, Hillary, good luck with that, and pretty rudely told us that they wouldnt accept his insurance regardless of what hed been told before. Given the back-and-forth issues he was having with their billing process, I think they definitely have an issue billing insurance providers. There were several associates in the eye center at the time and they were pretty rude to us about the confusion they had caused us. Im not usually one to write negative reviews, but after having several of the representatives literally laugh in our faces, I felt I had to.

Very disappointed with my experience at the Walmart vision center in price. The billing department didnt bill my insurance provider correctly. I went in several times to resolve the issue and was treated very rudely. The customer service representative in the vision center was very rude and not willing to listen to my concerns. The customer service representatives in the other departments are fantastic and I will use Walmart for other goods and services but I will never use the vision center again.
