GREAT PLACE TO SHOP. CLEAN AND ORGANIZED STORES. TO ME, DOLLAR GENERAL STORES ARE RUNNING NECK AND NECK WITH DOLLAR TREE STORES. YOU JUST NEED THAT LITTLE MORE SOMETHING(dont know what?) TO PUSH THEM OUT THE WAY.👍

Refused service for not having a mask yet two other customers were served without masks. Amazingly, i was the only white customer. Buyer beware if you are WHITE because you will be held to a different standard here! Google needs to add zero stars to these reviews because some of them dont deserve any stars!

Went there this morning b/w 10am&10:30am.The Cashier was very friendly.He was multitasking to help with different people at the same time.Made my day when he assisted me without being rude.

Needed a plastic spraying BOTTLE/THE YOUNG MALE CASHIER TOLD ME THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY BUT HE TOOK HIS TIME TO GO AND SEE THEY DID HAVE ONE SO HE BROUGHT IT TO ME I THOUGHT THAT WAS GREAT HE TOOK TIME TO FIND IT FOR ME THAT WAS A GOOD JOB

It used to be one of my favorite stores, but the cashiers arent very good at their jobs. Theyre never paying attention to the store only to their phones. If you guys are okay poor customer service.

I went in there today to get a few items and just so happen one of the items had a coupon for it. I havent used the app and on the debit card reader it says tell the cashier if you have coupons. I told the cashier and she started talking really loud saying have I clipped the coupon and you just have to put your number in. So I told her on the app I added the coupon I was trying to use. So she just kept telling well all you have to do is put your number in, I remind you I havent used the digital coupons before so I did not know the process, so Im looking for where to put my number in then she finally clicked the icon on the debit card reader, by this time Im trying not to tell back so I stated dont worry about it and walked out of the store without purchasing anything. I called back up there once I made it home to speak with a manager and the manager stated that she just talk loud anyway. I didnt have a problem with her talking loud it was the way she delivered the information instead of just saying maam click the icon on the screen and put in your number. I was very disappointed at the poor customer service and the fact the manager tried to justify the cashiers actions by stating she just talk loud anyway. Wish I could give it 0 stars.

At the time of my visit, the stores shelving couldve had more product in stock.This location is usually congested with several customers.Customer service was below average, only because, the cashier was the only employee present to work.

The staff needs to make sure they stock items regularly. I go in there too much for items to still be in boxes and not on the floor so customers can purchase .

I like the digital coupons and receiving the emails but every time i go to the dollar general in 8mile by piggly wiggly they give me a hard time either the machine isnt working or they cant ring up all my things at once its always something so i just go to one close to me and i have no problem with them now ill give them 5 🌟s.
