Been going to Princeton Sunoco for gas for 5 years, since I moved to the States. Not only is there service prompt and friendly but they go above and beyond. They’ve helped me out with a hole in my tire and we’re super efficient and easy when getting my first car service ever.
Came here for a wheel hub assembly replacement on my Chevy 2008 Equinox, which was making some weird noises while driving. The issue was diagnosed elsewhere, but this place gave the best price for the fix - $320 compared to other places that were charging $500+. The work was done quickly and my car has been driving smoothly for the last few months since the fix. I highly recommend this place for car repairs and would come back again.
Made an appointment for inspection. They said it will be 15 min. When I came, the guy said hes too busy and I need to leave the car and it will be done later today. I was fine with that, but needed to drive for a quick errand before dropping my car. The guy suddenly became combative and told me he wont do it today, turned his back and walked away. He never apologized or offered another appointment. Extremely rude and unprofessional.
Ive been going to this place for years. I used to go to another really good auto repair shop up north, but it was way out of town, and I had to keep Uber-ing there and back. The Princeton Sunoco is just a couple blocks from my place. What I know is that whenever I have a problem, I call them, and they solve it—quickly. This morning was an example: My car was stalling, likely due to the battery dying out. I called at 8:56AM, they came to boost it at 9:15AM so it could be driven to the shop; I was out of their shop, with a functional car, new battery and inflated tires at 9:55AM. This is the kind of service I get all the time, when I tell them I am a few blocks away, they immediately come over to take care of my car.For sure, this kind of service (not to mention having this car shop a few blocks away, in downtown Princeton, rather than up Rt 206 or on Rt 1), might be a bit marked up compared to other car shops, but if like me you value your time, this place is reliable, full-service, and has helped me out of several binds—immediately—over the years. And Willie who I usually interact with is always welcoming and he understands some of us just want our cars fixed, presto and with minimal involvement on my part!
These folks are experienced and know their job very well they just need to be better at communicating final quotes. Make sure you have confirmed the final estimate on your vehicle repair beforehand
At 4 PM on the Friday before the Labor Day weekend, I discovered that I had a flat tire. I called and the nice woman who answered the phone said come on in. The owner fixed my time quickly and charged us a very reasonable amount. He stayed after closing to help us and was very nice about it. The station changed owners fairly recently and I cant speak to the prior ownerships abilities, but I was very impressed with the new owner.
Extremely rude
Fast and honest service for your vehicle! I took my car here for an estimate and it was $1000 less than a different I went to that I was highly recommended to go to by someone else. I trust Princeton Sunoco.
An HONEST mechanic and great guy!
No problem for small things. I have only used this shop to do minor repairs like fixing slow-leaking tires, replacing a headlight, and doing a routine oil change. No problems and prices are good. I have not tried complicated or challenging repairs. But for simple things they are convenient, fast, and reasonably priced.
Willie has been fixing our vehicles for years. No problems. Nice gas attendants listening to old jazz. Special local resource.
Ive been going to Sunoco for years and have had a consistently great experience with them. They are honest and reliable, and complete their work in a timely way. I always understand what they are doing and why. On a number of occasions I thought my car might need a significant repair, and theyve addressed the problem simply and much less expensively--in other words, although they probably could convince me that I need a big-ticket repair, they never do! I completely trust them and feel good about bringing my car there.
V professional and prompt..great experience..
Not even worth for 1 star. We asked them to give a price quotation before any repair. They basically helped us reset the system, and charged for $60 without telling us the price.
I used to be very happy with this auto repair shop. However, today I had to pay a lot for oil change and 60k mile service. I was amazed to see they charged me $245 just for labor cost.
I had to fix my car with check engine light. they put wrong some stuff and after while driving my check engine light came up again. I had to pay first time 440$ for Toyota Corolla 2001. Rip off money guys, Terrible service, JUST TERRIBLE!!!! They are an as.hol..!!! If you like to just give money, then go head, who want save money, Be FAR AWAY FROM THEM!!!
Fair bunch. No hard sale. Had a near-sidewall puncture they investigated for me. I think I could have walked off with a no-pay diagnostic, but I made the move to inquire what they would charge for the tire diagnosis. Overall these guys were fair and didnt dumb me down. The fair pricing and no heavy sales push receives some respect from me in this day and age of locally owned service stations falling by the wayside. Id go back in the future.
If Mark cant fix it, then it cant be fix! Hands down best mechanic in the business
Great !I was charged 30$ for just 8 bolts
Prices are outrageous. 1 mile away over $1.00 per gallon cheaper.🤑
Terrible terrible service here. Try to avoid!!! My check engine light was on and they did the diagnosis, charging for 100$, and guaranteed they solved the problem and if the light was back, they could do the check again for free. But just after few days, the light was back and the same code appeared. They did the diagnosis again, but finally asked for another 100$. Can you believe that? They are very rude and there is no way to argue with them. I will never believe these guys.
Charged unfair amount for just opening a screw (replacing a battery). Nothing needed to be diagnosed or any other service. Only asked for opening (and closing) a screw since I didnt have the right key..
Honest mechanics
