Denise is amazing. She is knowledgeable and professional in her approach to assisting each client in creating a custom wardrobe. For someone such as myself who is unsure of style and trend, she is incredibly helpful and insightful in selecting clothing that reflects my own personality as well as career. The fact that you don’t have to go to a busy retail store is a key feature. Denise is an amazing stylist, she guided and helped me choose a new suit for my daughters wedding. This was a difficult process for me as I am used to a more generous cut in mens fashion and was hesitant to go with a custom made suit with a more svelte cut. Denise assured me it would be fine and that the cut would be very appropriate for my body shape (not quite as toned as it once was).Denise and I went through all the various colors and fabrics offered by J.Hilburn and decide on a deep blue nail head for cut, flow and drape. She measured me and we ordered.... 4 weeks later I had changed shape a wee bit and the suit needed a little tweaking here and there, but time was short. Denise remeasured, marked and took notes for the changes, ran off with the suit and came back in a matter of days! Incredible service... the suit fit amazingly well and feels like a fine glove. I was thrilled to say the least.I felt proud walking my daughter down the isle and looked damn fine in that suit, it truly is the finest garment I own, and I owe it all to Denise for holding steadfastly to her extensive knowledge of fabric, cut and fit that has been honed through a career as a Master Tailor. Denise is AMAZING! My Monique Lhuillier wedding dress didnt quite fit me (but I fell in love with it and bought it anyways). Every seamstress I went to said extending the back wouldnt be a problem... with a corset. The problem was, I didnt want a corset! Denise, expanded the back of my dress so no corset was needed and it was perfect. She was extremely well priced, fast and so wonderful to work with~ I HIGHLY recommend this tailor for any and all alterations (especially with something as precious as your wedding dress). A++!

This place is truly a class act. Denise is not only a great tailor, but she is also a great stylist with J. Hilburn . She has exceptional customer service and guarantees all of her tailoring (you can go back and have it re-altered anytime even if you think the length is a few centimeters too long). Its rare to see this anymore at tailors, and Ive been to plenty in multiple states.My actual experience here was fantastic. I asked for style advice from Denise, and she gave me her honest opinions and helped me decide on fit and sizing.As for the tailoring, it was done very well. I wear suit pants relatively conservatively so the tailored style was a bit unusual for me, and Denise advised me to try it for a little while and come back if I wasnt comfortable. Once again, a great show of customer service. Definitely breeds a sense of trust, as I imagine there should be between a man and his tailor!

I have always liked looking my best, but until recently, always bought off the rack clothing, from Men’s Wearhouse and Joseph A. Bank. Recently, I upped my game to Brooks Brothers, but never went with a made to measure suit because I thought I couldn’t afford it. Finally, I was intrigued enough that I looked up my local J. Hilburn representative, who happened to be Denise. I first dipped my toe in the water by buying a made to measure shirt. I was very pleased with the results. A perfect fit. This was followed by another shirt, and eventually two suits. I have been extremely impressed. Denise LISTENS, and made exactly the adjustments I wanted. As a master tailor, she really knows her stuff and produces superior work, unlike othe MTM consultants who have to farm alterations out. I always get compliments on my J Hilburn suits, because they fit perfectly, and look fantastic. And that helps with my confidence. A man always walks a bit taller when he knows he looks good! Are you tired of the mediocre fit you get from off the rack? For not all that much more, you can get true quality that’s worth every penny. Give Denise a call.
