Outstanding with Covid 19 Vaccinations. Two visits to this location for my vaccinations left me impressed. They completely have their act together, staff was wonderfully helpful and the store is quite clean. Good job!!

Ive always tried to see both sides of a coin but really CVS Pharmacy is utterly useless.. aggravating and full of c...pRanging from long drive thru time (wonder why its called a drive thru), not knowing how to get prior auth (I mean you deal with insurances all day), to mixing up the prescriptions.. list is endless.

I literally was trapped in the Drive Thru at the Pharmacy for 40 min. The woman in the car waited about 7 min and finally pressed the Call Button and then it proceeded to be another 30 min before they got her prescription. Not sure if they were making it up? But if so why didnt they have her pull over or come back so that the other customers waiting could get there prescription that was ready!! I had a car behind me so I could not pull out of the lane. I am afraid to go back. Do not do Drive Thru!

The WORST pharmacy on earth. Iv never left a review anywhere but this place is so bad I had to let it be known. They have no idea what they’re doing. Totally incompetent. Avoid at all costs! 0 stars!

Horrible pharmacy, I received a call at 1:05 pm that my prescription was ready. I sent my fiancé after work at 5 on to pick up the prescription for them to say it was unready. Very unprofessional on their part. They told him to come back in a half in which he did. Prescription was still not ready! Don’t waste your time, employees in the pharmacy are horrible. If I could give half a star I would.

Worst place to get you prescriptions. Always a hassle and a run around. I would suggest going somewhere else if you are looking for competent workers. The two blones are unprofessional and your medication will rarely be ready on time. Just yeaterday five people were in line, not one got their medication.

Staff is very friendly but theyre always out of stock on the medicines and always a long wait lately. I keep getting sent to their other store in another town and its very dissapointing. Hope to see improvement in the pharmacy.

One Star is much too high as a rating for this pharmacy. My orders are never ready when I go in for pickup. After the third attempt for pickup the same order (my doctors office had call me and confirmed they did receive the prescriptions and the pharmacy told my doctors office the medications were ready) they said medications were not ready. I was disappointed. Another occasion and different order, I called ahead to make Sure it was ready and the girl who answer the phone told me my medications were ready and could be pickup. I went to the drive through and my order was not ready. The girl took my information again and I had to wait for medications.WHO IS MANAGING THIS PLACE?

Deserves zero stars!!!! ABSOLUTE WORST pharmacy I’ve ever been to. 10/10 times, my prescriptions are NEVER ready. Every single time a prescription is sent over, it is NEVER filled unless I call multiple times to get the ball moving. If there is an issue with one of my prescriptions going through, they don’t even think to notify me or my doctor to get it resolved- it just sits there for days pending! They almost always never have the medications I need, and even in emergency situations (I can’t breathe), it still takes days and days for them to get my prescriptions filled. Sometimes by the time the prescriptions are finally ready, I don’t even need them anymore! At times I have received text messages saying my prescriptions were ready, but when I went there to pick up, I was told I still needed to wait up to 30 minutes for them. The WORST thing that ever happened was that they once gave me the COMPLETELY WRONG prescription! What is going on?!?!?!

Store always full of litter on the outside that no one attempts to clean up, people complain about the dirty restroom, under staffed very slow pharmacy that often makes mistakes with insurance and sometimes even with meds. Avoid this place.

Been going to this CVS for years. Every time an Rx is order I’ve had to wait for them to fill it. Not sure if it’s because they never stock their medication or the staff is poorly managed.I had numerous times where my child’s Dr sent the Rx to the facility and the pharmacy said they never got it. Then the next day the pharmacy stated they had the Rx.Unfortunately they look overwhelmed and disorganized. I never had an issue like this at Rite Aid or at Big Y.

I have been using CVS in Prospect for years and honestly, I dont understand the negative reviews here. They are prompt, respectful and always polite. I cant think of a reason that I would ever use a different pharmacy!

Products in this store can be quite expensive, but youre paying for the convenience. I dont understand the other complaints/comments, however. Theyre usually busy, but always helpful and polite. Pharmacies have a lot of laws, policies, protocol, and regulations to follow. If they need to verify your doctors DEA license or get prior authorization, its because they HAVE to, not because they want to make you wait. They WILL and DO fill prescriptions even if you dont have any insurance. I know, as Im one of the millions in this country without insurance. My money is as good as any insurance companys.

A good example of what a pharmacy should not be. My wifes drugs are almost never in stock. They are a long time continues, on going prescription, and you would think they would have them in stock since they need to be refilled on a regular basics.!!. Not so with this CVS.!! The CVS on 464 Reidville Drive, Waterbury is a much better bet. Never had a problem with Reidville Drive. Problems started when my wife switched to Prospect CVS. To all of you,,, BEWARE,!!,, and learn from our mistake.!!.

Rude little man - child at the drive thru on 1/14/20 @ 5pm it was not busy, pulled right up and 3 people waiting inside. There were 2 pharmacists and 3 support staff. The management should really review employee attitudes and performance. Alot of room for improvement.

This has to be the worst pharmacy is Connecticut! I am a former customer of Prospect Pharmacy. When they closed, their customers were transferred to CVS. Getting a Rx filled is always a hassle. I can understand the seriousness of drug abuse. However, the last time I was ill I had to wait 4 days before they would fill my Rx. I was told they had to check my doctors DEA. Then they had to get insurance approval. Nothing but a lot of red tape. They had no consideration for the fact that I was sick. By the time I received the medication, I really didnt need it. I went through night without sleeping due to the wheezing in my chest. At this time I am waiting for another Rx. Ive been waiting since Tuesday. The first time I called I was told that they were waiting for insurance approval. Today I was told it was out of stock and they could only provided a partial amount. Really??? You knew about this two days ago. Then I was ask if it was going thru workmans comp. Totally incompetent!!! I will never allow my doc to send another Rx to them. I used them becasue I needed the convience of a drive-thru due to double knee replacement. I when and if I get this new Rx, this is it. I will NEVER go there again.

Horrible place very unfriendly no profession it’s horrible I would never recommend anybody to shop here and try to get on medicine for blood pressure even I have all those ID numbers group numbers they still give me a hard time horrible because I don’t have the card I never get my medicine from them this is very important medicine for me horrible they don’t even deserve it start
