Some of the nicest folks that Ive ever dealt with as far as a grocer. $3 breakfast too (biscuit, gravy,sausage and a drink). It dont get better than that

Tried to eat at the deli today. Asked about some hot food and was told the fryers were turned off (waited 15min). Came back to just get some food that was in the warmer and waited about 30-35min. The associates (2 of them) were on the bakery side. Looked at me several times but never came over and asked if I needed anything. One of the associates from the deli finally came over and asked me if I needed anything. I understand there were only 2 people working in the deli but at least someone couldve acknowledged me and asked me to hold on after they looked at me several times. Another patron walked away upset and was wondering if they were important enough to be waited on. Not a good experience at all.

Love food City prices are affordable. They have value points for gas discount. Its a very clean store.

Shelves were full of products, needs some cleaning but rather pay the little higher price then going to walmart as this place is more peaceful and has what your looking for always.

I really like this location in Pulaski. Sits right next to Kings Tire. The managers are always friendly, courteous and helpful. Always asking if youve found what youre looking for... Good produce, good meat department, good deli. The shelves are always well stocked, too. I am a fan of their pre-made Neptune salad. If I can offer one suggestion? Would like to see more locally grown products in store.

Best grocery store EVER! They really stepped up their game in Galax with this beautiful and organized HUGE grocery store. Butcher is A+, checkout is easy, variety is endless and the best part is not even the Starbucks inside, its the prices. I travel 30 miles to visit as often as possible.

The market is within a few minutes drive from home, so its convenience makes us not go anywhere else. But being a midsized market, its selections are limited. We love piling up points to get 15-cent per gallon discount @ the ⛽ that is affiliated with Food City.

Very clean store. The staff are always willing to help you locate an item that you cannot find. I love the rewards system that they have. Buy with your Value Card and with so many points you can redeem with a gas visit for .15 off.

Food City is good for sales, prices a little high if not on sale.

This is the only place I can find my drinks that I like and the people are so sweet and so nice. I wish we had more people like that in Walmart and food lion. Keep up the good work yall

Food City was well stocked this morning the day before a snow storm. All employees were friendly and working hard. Plus the store was clean.The two I had direct contact with were Wendy and Destiny. They had good old fashioned kindness that makes you smile. Wendy was an exceptional, friendly cashier. Destiny came to my car and got my cart for me and was very friendly. I was dreading my trip out but they made it a pleasant one. Thank you Food City and Jennifer Price!

The deli has a nice selection. Having the pharmacy there is really convenient. I can get everything done in one stop.

Had a wonderful time shopping this afternoon. The store is always bright and clean. Makes me feel welcome coming in the doors. Been there frequently so I know where I need to go. They do not move stock around constantly so you can find what you are looking for. Just upgrade their merchandise and keep up with the latest products. Always have a great time and the store personal are always helpful even if they are busy. Will always return there to shop. Thanks so much!

Great place great prices, came and got their chicken and it tasted great, only improvement I can see is the rotisserie chicken was left to long under heat and was very dry. But the regular chicken was out of this world!

Was my go to place some mornings for breakfast always got the same thing nothing said this morning I was told that if I didnt get it a certain way I would be cheating myself I ask how come I was not told the other time what made this day any different I guess the make their rules up as they go also one of the male workers was talking and coughing no mask on have came to the conclusion its not worth my time my intention is to stay away and have my prescriptions transfered to another pharmacy

Love the store, but prices are not competitive with other grocery stores, but its nice to get a beer or glass of wine and shop. You forget about the prices!!!

I normally like shopping here because the people are friendly and the prices are decent. However, tonight my friend and I were getting a few groceries and went through the self check-out. There was a friendly young guy working and then an older woman with short gray hair took over his shift and she was very rude and not helpful. My friend needed help with her check out and she made a comment about the tea that was left unbagged making sure she had paid for it. This is fine, no problem.. definitely your job lady.However, what was not her job was following us out to the parking lot to tell us she could not find the tea on the receipt and then instantly realizing after making an accusation that she had overlooked it. Way to go. Now we have to find a new place to shop.

I was so impressed with this young man on Friday August 28. It was so dang hot and humid because of the storm Laura and this young man offered to load my groceries for me. That was so kind. I have worked at Food City on several occasions myself and I really like the store for many reasons. Good place to work and good place to shop.

I love food city well stocked and very clean

I love that as soon as you walk in, they have mask and sanitizer for you if needed. Theres a Starbucks, salad bar and a deli with hot or cold food or made to order.they also have fresh seafood without the entire store smelling like fish. They have great prices and with their rewards card, you get in-store discounts and using the card for in-store discounts also accumulates discounts for gas at their gas station.

The layout of the store makes it so much easier to comply with the social distancing law. They even provide mask for your safety. Food City has the best meats and every item in the store is fresh.

I usually dont like to give a negative review. I have always liked the fruit or vegetable produce but last week Sept 5-10 2020. I bought bananas, tangerines, watermelon, grapes and strawberries. All went bad in 2 days....that was a lose of $45- $50. Ive was like the fruit rottened from the inside out. I will no longer shop at FOOD CITY IN PULASKI!!!

I really used to enjoy coming to this store to go shopping but today has really changed my mind about wanting to ever go back. No1 is listening to the 6 foot rule and I feel like we were violated in this store earlier today & it breaks my heart to know that I can’t shop here for obvious reasons.Thank you FOOD CITY for all the hardworking people that don’t get acknowledged as much as they should.

Why should you shop local?Today Saturday September 26th 2020 after work I bought some groceries from Food City in Pulaski. Well I left an expensive item in the cart when loading my truck. I did not realize it for a few hours. I just called and talked to Deanna there and she offered to replace it free of charge. That is what true customer loyalty and support is all about. So next time you want to shop for something hit up a local store and know that they have your back.Pa... The produce department can do better Im having to dig through rotten vegetables to get my produce. Hate doing this then have to drive to Walmart to get decent produce.

Had the pleasure of going to this Food City tonight and got checked out by a particularly friendly cashier, Stephanie. I believe she is new, but she did absolutely amazing! She politely rang me up and told me my total, she had pleasant conversation with me while I was being checked out, she informed me that I had 2 gas visits available, and thanked me for coming by! It’s nice to see young people enjoying their job and being friendly to others. I think that Miss Stephanie will make a MARVELOUS addition to the Food City team! You’re luck to have her!

Prices are a little too high

Food City is very clean and Friendly. The bathrooms are nice and clean. The wait in line is usually not very long. They have gas pumps that stay open later than the store and have tobbaco products available for purchase at the gas island. Ive never had a bad expierence here. I highly recommend .

First visit - nice friendly staff. Need benches in front of store for people waiting for family going through checkout and benches outside.

Its good to have two full featured markets in Pulaski to bounce between. I thought as a visitor to this rural area that this was an excellent situation. Decent selection across the board, diverse beer selection, including many local brands. Plenty of parking and located conveniently for your shopping pleasure.

I like this store because I can find things here I can’t find anywhere else. I don’t go often because it’s a lil too far to go.

Great store has a lot of stuff to choose from

Great prices. Super clean facility. Fresh produce. Great selection of foods. They have a nice area that has flowers/houseplants and unique wax melts (the only place Ill buy from now). Deli and bakery. Plenty of quarter games like claw machines and such at entrance, as well as a lotto machine. Grocery store holds special sales like Midnight madness and has own gas station. Easy to locate and feels safe at night.

Prices can be high on certain items. Sales are pretty good when the have them. Staff is pleasant, friendly, and helpful.

Best place for beer in the county, crying shame that I have to drive from a Irish named town (Dublin) to a Polish named town (Pulaski) just to get Guinness but we do live in strange times.None the less, better... well everything then Walmart and has the build your 6 pack with a ok choice in beer, its not prize winner but best we got.This is also the best place for meat and seafood.
