Been trying get in, made several Apts, Dr. Always has an emergency... called Port Charlotte made another apt, hot done the same way... its even kind of an emergency thats about 3 days off work for 3 Apts canceled
Beware! I gave them my insurance info in advance, arrived on time only to be told I would have additional contact lense Fit fees up to $85.00. To which I responded I have never had to pay that before. They also showed me paying a copay of $25.00, when over the phone and on my card it clearly showed $10.00. I was basically told pay up or no prescription. I left got in my car and before I left the parking lot, Eyeglass World in Port Charlotte confirmed, what I thought was correct. My UHC covered the Fit fee 100%, just a $10.00 copay, and my Bioinfinity multifocals were included 100%. NO extra costs, no fees....I dont what was worse, the lack of professionalism in determining my insurance, or the audacity of the eye doctor to literally make up random fees that he himself was hard pressed to adequately explain. You were warned.
They r all very helpful when trying to decide on glasses for r 6 year old.
They do not like you to use insurance.
I took a pair of my glasses, that have sentimental value to me, in to the Walmart Vision Center at the Punta Gorda Walmart to have the frame fixed after a lens fell out. John went far above and beyond my expectations to repair these glasses. These were my deceased uncles daily wear glasses that I had new prescription lenses put in for me so that I could wear these glasses to watch tv in honor of my uncle. John didn’t just replace the screw he retapped both holes and put new screws in for both lenses and he straightened out the bows as they were bent after they were sat on. Thank you John for saving the sentimental glasses.
Dr.MaplesIs the very best doctor and I’d follow her anywhere my daughter loves her she is so good with kids.Dealing with a lot of bad doctors now that she is gone.
