Lovely place to have lunch. The owners are so kind and attentive. I’ve never had a meal that I didn’t love and they spoil the heck out of my daughter. This hole in the wall place is a must. After lunch you can shop in the store and look at all their unique vendors.

Fresh, fresh food! The proprietors are wonderful folks, and wait on the tables themselves as well as cook/build the food.Well worth the stop!

From the outside you would never guess the treasures that are hidden behind the front door. First a lovely lady greets you, who is behind a pretty counter that houses a lovely small coffee shop, then there are all the treasures in each little cubicle that is very cleverly organized and presented. It makes you want to buy a lot of things that remind you of your past and your childhood. There is a similar store to this concept in San Diego, CA and Im happy that we have this store here =)

My mother use to frequent this wonderful place years ago (under the old ownership) I really enjoyed going as a young girl. Today is my 30th birthday and I thought, let’s try it out since I haven’t been in what feels like 10 years + It’s been 1 year to the date since I’ve been in a place (to eat) so I was nervous. It was clean, smaller sized building (personally loved that) but not busy, so I felt comfortable. The new owners are the nicest people ever, they made me feel like I was right at home. The food quality is great. Portions are a good size. I wish I could give them more then 5 stars honestly. It’s a different place. Soup, salad, tea and desert is a must. They also have really cool things in the exhibitor portion of the store. I highly recommend trying them out if you haven’t already!

The Trellis Cafe (and Boutique) is the go-to place to celebrate special occasions with your bestie(s), your mom/grandma, your love, yourself or anyone you want to impress and treat well. Exceptional food made fresh daily in-house. Service is unmatched. Stay for a leisurely meander through the boutique where you may very well come away with a beautiful/unique/one-of-a-kind treasure for yourself or gift for that hard-to-buy-for special friend or relative.Go ahead! I bought an amazing piece of furniture here! I had great communication with the third party seller (Amanda Martini) and were greeted by the amazing owners of Trellis Cafe and Boutique (Pam and Willie) who were so very sweet and helpful. There was another customer there who was acting like a spoiled brat and was crying about it not being fair that you are selling the furniture to someone else when I was here first...blah blah blah. I guess it is time you learn to be a woman of your word sweetheart! You said you would be there the day before.... The nice owners came in to open the store for you and YOU NEVER SHOWED! You Flaked. If anything that is what was so rude and not fair!!!!! Writing a terrible review because you FLAKED...Is not fair. People flake all the time and it is so frustrating and a waste of the sellers and owners time!!So back to my GOOD REVIEW: Pam spent 45 minutes with me (after the whole issue), going over paint, brushes, and answering all my questions. I have already been back and will continue to go back as this place is amazing! If you are a customer and reading my review, I would encourage you to try it out for yourself and please dont listen to some of the dishonest reviews below (they did not tell the whole story).

Cozy little boutique cafè offers sandwiches, desserts & a great variety of teas. Nice and quiet place to stop right off a busy Meridian St. for lunch. Owner Pam was very nice, welcoming and friendly!

An elderly couple followed me around the entire store without masks, because I said something something them about it after an employee jokingly said they werent enforcing the mandate. Talked to the owner & the manager. They seemed to care less. Was going to purchase a few things for my new home but her attitude ruined it. I have a chronic illness so anything like covid kill me. It amazes me how little store owners care about the safety and health of their customers. Absolutely appalling. Im going to report them for this as Im sure it is not their first incident like this nor will it likely be the last. There are much better quality antique shops in the puyallup/south hill area with much better owners, employees, and customers to spend your hard earned money at.

On of the treasures of Puyallup, Pam and Willie are always so welcoming, food is always delicious, its like having lunch at a friends house!

To the two poor and dishonest reviews (Christine and Tim commenting below), given that Pam and Willie (the owners) opened the store a day prior and you failed to make your appointment or call for the piece of furniture the seller moved on. I scheduled an appointment the next day and actually showed up for the piece before the store opened that morning. Then you had an outburst like an inappropriate millennial entitled spoiled brat which was embarrassing for the owners and shouldve been embarrassing for yourself. In regard to Christines dishonest review, you were not the first one in the store as I was waiting outside for the store to open and didnt want to bombard the owners as they are just walking in and opening the store. To your husband Tim (who wasnt even there), the day before I spoke with the seller Amanda, she stated that someone else was interested but they never showed up so she made an appointment with me first thing in the morning. If you didnt flake on showing up the day prior like you said you wouldve then this all wouldnt have happened. It would not have been FAIR or MAKE ZERO SENSE to send the item home with someone that missed their appointment the day before. What isnt fair and makes zero sense, is for someone that wasnt even there to write a terrible review about the owners and the business when it was your fault to begin with. Throughout the process, the owners Pam and Willie were very receptive and proactive on the situation. Pam called the seller, Amanda, to check with her on the details of the selling process. Amanda and Pam came to the conclusion that the item was still available after Christine never showed up when she was supposed to be there, so they moved on and sold the item to me on the day and time I was supposed to be there. I think that is professional business practice, if you ask me.

I love taking my daughter here for mommy and daughter tea time dates. The owners are super nice and welcoming. I absolutely love the food and environment at the cafe. Theres shop booths at this location that offer affordable cute gifts to take home. Definitely will be visiting often.

UPDATE: Screenshot of my conversation with seller added, which was shared at the time of the reported interaction with this business owner. Added because it shows the Trellis cafe and boutique owner’s response 6 months after this interaction was false and misleading.I do not recommend and will not return. Absolutely horrible customer service and shady business practices on the boutique side. I was there at opening to purchase an item I saw online. Someone else came in after me looking for the same item and said they had an appointment. There was no mention of appointments being necessary in my interactions with the seller the day prior (Amanda Martini). No money exchanged hands prior to me requesting to purchase the item and business owner did not mention other interests until after she showed up. Business owner was unhelpful. Clearly not interested in treating customers fairly.

My girls loved the place so much they bought some old letters the girls couldnt read it so the owner read it outloud to them the girls were so excited after we left the girls talked about what they thought the women sending the letters did with her new life way back in the 40s 😊its been awhile since weve been back the girls cant wait to go back

This place deserves a 10 star review. I have been coming here as a customer for almost 2 years and have since signed up as a vendor for over a year. Being in both sides of the fence I can attest to the hard work that the owners Pam and Willie put in. I have been there with them sun up till sun down. At night in the middle of the night to prepare for a large event ect. Ect. These people are the most caring, compassionate, reasonable people I have ever dealt with. They are so much for their customers. They will bend over backwards for anyone. They are so amazing. I have never believed in any business model as I believe in theirs. If you havent been here it is a must! Their food is amazing..their deserts are on point..and their crafts, furniture pieces and one of a kind items is more then you would ever imagine. They put so much love and hard work into this shop it is unreal. Probably the nicest 2 business owners you will ever meet. Ps . This is coming from someone who is a hard critic and a good judge of character.

Pam was great! Everyone is incredibly friendly. We had the BLT, potato bacon soup and broccoli cheddar soup. All of the food was fresh and delicious. We took home desserts too! Pam had us sample her sugar cookies... yum, yum, yum. I cannot say enough about this little place. Its a slice of heaven.

What a fun experience!! The food was sooo good! The tea was delicious! They had such cute antique decor, and a pretty decent menu. The owner, help, and cook were all friendly and charasmatic. I must go back to try more of their tea from the large tea menu they have!

*** UPDATE*** after 6 months I finally received the response below from the owner. There is no confusion and I am certainly not disgruntled, just a Savvy consumer who will not tolerate a business who has less than acceptable business practices. I cannot speak on how you operate six months later but can speak to my experience six months ago with your business...and it was unacceptable. The facts are very simple and if anyone who wishes to read this review will see how your business operates. I still have the text messages from your business and the time stamps of each message (technology is wonderful). Sadly you never tried to fix the problem...just ignored it for six months. The person who actually owned the piece did reach out to us and was very apologetic about what happened and did offer to make a custom piece for us for our troubles...which was kind, but we did not take her up on the offer as we found a piece that suited our needs soon after this debacle. ***Bottom line...we stand by the original review and will not be taking it down especially since you could not even respond to the specifics of our situation or do it in a timely fashion.*** Good luck to any who decide to purchase antiques from this boutique. I hope you don’t experience what we went through.————————————————————————-I am writing this review to warn others about this establishment and it’s policies they have in place.We tried to buy a piece of furniture on consignment here...had an agreed upon time and several messages with the seller through a third party website expressing our interest and the desire to purchase the item. My wife arrived when the store opened to purchase the item and found out there was another person who was also there to purchase the item...however they had not expressed an interest until the day my wife went there to purchase the item and arrived after she was already going through the process to purchase the item.My wife showed up before the stores opened and was the first to arrive and enter the store. While looking at the item and finalizing the purchase details, she was told of another person who just arrived interested in the same item. After speaking with the store clerk and the seller on the phone about the clear timeline of who was first and who expressed an interest a whole day prior (we had been interested in the item before the other person)...they cited store policy and gave the item to the person who showed up after my wife did which makes ZERO sense. Wasted our time and was not fair in their quoted business policy/ practices.We will not be shopping there again and would advise others to think twice before waist if your time and energy with this business or the people they conduct business with.

I went here yesterday with ladies in my neighborhood. In love with the food, the decor and all the little booths full of beautiful items. Will definitely go back.

My brother and his girl friend came to visit from Utah to visit. I took them there for lunch and the food was fantastic the store was wonderful the employees and owners were very nice and friendly i cant say enough about how pleased we were.

Im on their waiting list for a booth here. So I can display my had painted furnishings.There are a lot of really nicely done booths here with a ton of handcrafted items. There is even a Tea shop (restaurant) here as well.Friendly staff.

The restaurant food is great and the staff is excellent! I wish the boutique was open until at least 5:30. Current hours make it difficult for working people to get there by 5. I know you are open on Saturdays but I go right past your place on my way home from work. :)

Trellis Cafe is my favorite Tea Place in Puyallup, Washington. The lunch menu is fantastic with home made food. Pam and Willy go the extra mile to make us feel at home and welcome. They also operate the Exhibitors Mall. It contains Antiques & booths with designer touches. See you there.

This is one of my favorite shops for holiday shopping . One of a kind gifts and friendly staff!! You can get bargains too. Its like a bazaar each time you shop

If there were less then 1 star I’d give that. The new owner Pam is nice to customers and her clientele in the cafe. But she is rude AF to her vendors and Lies all the time... if your thinking about being a vendor I would not recommend this place. The rent maybe cheap but you’ll be lucky to make rent, and will sell yourvthungs at the prices she sees fit. Not the prices you mark your items. Beware!!!

I ordered the BLT sandwich and chicken Ceaser salad with strawberry lemonade (and some cupcakes). My wife and I loved everything!!I can’t recommend this place enough. I really wish we’d come in sooner.
