This was the second time weve used Hometown to service my garage doors.The first was an emergency where the door came off the track a few years ago, Eric came same day and got everything back up and running quickly as well as serviced the opener.Yesterday we called him for a broken spring, but mentioned that we had been thinking of upgrading to an insulated door. Eric came out the same day I called him to do an estimate for a garage door then came back later today to just do a small repair on the garage door we have, for now. He is very reasonable in prices, honest and a great guy who definitely knows what he is doing.

Called around noon to get a broken spring fixed and he quoted me 200 to 280 depending on what all needed to be fixed. He said he could be right over, was at my house in 15 to 20 minutes, and about 30 minutes after that i had a working garage door again. He replaced the spring and both cables that had snapped. The whole job came out to 220. New spring has an almost double life expectancy from what I had. Should it somehow break in the next 10 years and Eric is still working, i know who Im calling.

My spring broke on my garage door. I called six different places to get a quote. Three of the calls I made stated they couldn’t give me a quote till they came out to inspect of which their was also a $60 trip charge. Two others gave me a hard price without knowing what type of spring I needed. Eric was the winner, I requested a range over the phone and he gave me a range. The price included installation and said he would inspect everything to ensure there were no other issues. When Eric arrived he inspected and gave me two options of springs to choose from. Both options were in the middle of the price range he quoted me over the phone. Eric inspected my rollers and recommended replacing them. I was skeptical for a second then he showed me what they looked like and showed me a new one and the decision was easy. I went with the new ones which were very cheap and included installation. The noise difference is incredible. My door is so much more quiet now with the new rollers. He also greased my doors hinges and checked the belt and motor at no extra cost to make sure everything was working properly. Choose Eric, you will not regret it!
