I had a great experience at the cycle logic. My bike had a flat tire, and also needed an overall servicing. They did my job within one day. Even after servicing, the squeaky noise of the brake did not go way, so I told them. They took their time again and fixed that immediately. The staffs are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely I will recommend this place.

The people that work at this shop are AMAZING! It is small, but mighty. They know their stuff and do not pressure you into purchasing. I found them to be honest, straightforward, and very easy to chat with. Each employee takes their time in explaining things to you, and allows for your input, then offers alternative suggestions depending on your conversation. I would highly recommend you taking a look. Bikes are scarce right now, but they do have shipments coming in weekly. Cheers!!!-Colin

If you are looking for a great bike and an awesome experience when purchasing one, then you found the place. The owner and salesman were both knowledgeable and helpful in choosing accessories to go with the bike purchased for our daughter. They were helpful in picking just the right size bike for the amount of usage. She got great tips on upkeep, tuning and a quick lesson in the gears. A fantastic experience and education that all bikes are not created equally. Was greatly impressed to know that the bike will last her a long time with the recommended tire pressures and tune-ups. They fitted all accessories purchased onto the bike before we left. Customer service at its finest.

So my wife and I were there this past Monday, August 23rd 2021 to get one of her spokes fixed on her Cannondale hybrid and look at 2 road bikes we were wanting to purchase.. We bought 2 Cannondales from Cycle Logic 3 months before Covid. Firstly though, we wanted to get our maintenance done on our 2 bikes we bought previously. Since we were in Covid, we were not able to get it done. They offer 1 free one within the year. The owner, who is the shorter female there(just for reference) would not honor the free maintenance on our bikes. I know it was outside the year time frame ... but it was Covid for goodness sake... we were locked in. She was not nice, not flexible and condescending. Business 101 - keep your existing customers happy. They are the warm market who will buy from you again. Because we were so disappointed, we decided not to get her spoke fixed there and buy or road bikes elsewhere. BTW we had a $3000 budget for road bikes Monday. We since purchased at another bike shop. Because they were so unwilling to be flexible with their maintenance policy, they lost out on 2 more bike sales, service on a broken spoke and any future sales from us..... you lost a customer. Not good business at all.

Had a great experience here buying a bike. They are a relatively small shop but they pack in lots of bikes and parts. The stock is mostly Cannondale and weighted towards the high-end, but they had a nice used bike for sale that fit the bill. The service was outstanding; everyone was friendly, helpful, and patient with our questions and during our test ride. The shop dog is a well-trained marvel that my daughter loved as well, making an easy experience even more enjoyable. Will be back for our bike needs and I recommend this shop highly to others!

Raleigh has a number of good bike shops but this one is my fave. The staff is smart and friendly and the service is quick, even in a pandemic. I once needed a cheap replacement seat and the owner just showed me a box of parts from disassembled bikes and let me choose one free of charge. I wouldnt expect that, of course, but its an example of the kind of nice service this shop provides for its customers. Highly recommended. Sweetest shop dog, too.

Not impressed. My husband bought his bike here several years ago so when the Shimano gear shifter on my bike broke, we returned for a replacement part. The cashier was helpful but not that knowledgable. She showed us an alternate shifter on a new bike in the shop and demonstrated it for us. While my husband was paying, I went back to test the shifter myself. A female working in the back leaped out of her seat and reprimanded me for doing the same thing the clerk and done minutes earlier. At home, we tried installing the replacement part which was not compatible and proceeded to visit other Raleigh bike shops looking for the right part. I would highly recommend the owner of this shop do the same because there is no comparison. Go elsewhere for selection, service, knowledge, and information. This may have been an awesome place in the 1980s but this is 2020. The bottom of the sales receipt says no refunds, only store credit, another outdated policy by todays standards. My experience here was a bitter $25 education.

I’ve sold and served practically my entire life and I do it very well. As not even a novice in this hobby and at the opposite end of aficionado in the terminology, every statement I made was countered with pure irritation. I’ve made a lot of money in my years by treating people with Southern Hospitality and Kindness, warm smile and actually helping them. Didn’t get anything of the sort from her. Other than her demeanor, the selection of bikes was high end and gear was nice. Unfortunately I will be taking thousands elsewhere in search of kind service and understanding.

The staff at this establishment is very unprofessional . I called this bike shop prior to bringing my bicycle in for a simple flat repair . I asked if I would have to leave the bike overnight for the repair . They stated .. Yes .. O.K. .. No problem ... I brought my bicycle in ... I dropped it off .... Four hours later I get a call saying the repairs were finished and I can pick up my bicycle .. I live over ten miles away and it was inconvenient for me to do a turn around to come and pick up my bike . I was out and about running errands and taking care of business . I said Ill pick it up tomorrow . The next day when I picked up my bicycle .. The tire that needed repair was under inflated ... Two accessories on my bicycle were missing and no member of the staff could explain the disappearence of my property . I maintained my composure and paid my bill . I would not suggest you getting your bicycle repaired at this bicycle shop .

Update July 2014...Still having Cycle Logic do all of the work on my bikes.Ed is not much of a talker but integrity is high and I trust his staff to repair and maintain my bikes.I needed to replace my rear wheel in June. Spoke on new wheel broke 6 weeks (and 700 miles) later. Ed apologized for the defective wheel and replaced with one of higher quality at no cost. This is just one of the reasons that I will continue to sent my business to Cycle Logic. They do not fix or repair components that do not require repair, but do proactively do some smaller stuff that was not originally quoted, but needed. Never had any additions over $25.Great Bike Shop. This is a real bike shop, not a big box store. The owner really knows his stuff and is very friendly if you dont walk in and try to impress him with knowledge that you dont really have. They have been servicing both of my Fujis for the 3 years since I moved here. They will not sell you services that you dont need and it is impossible to beat their prices (yes, the rent is a lot cheaper that some fancy strip mall in Cary).I have checked their bike prices and they are well below All Star, Cycling Spoken Here and Performance (even on a really big sale). This is a true Local Bike Shop (LBS).Some of the other shops in the area are in nicer buildings and have a more friendly sales-oriented staff, but dont seem as genuine to me. The staff there was condescending, rude, and very unhelpful. After talking with some friends about the store, every single one of them who had ever been to this store felt the same way. Maybe theyre fine if all you need to do is buy a bike or a lock, but for bike repairs I would not recommend ever going there. The man that helped me was extremely rude, and then sold me the wrong part to fix my bike. As I was leaving he said when you cant fix it yourself come back and well do it for you. Took my bike elsewhere another day where they confirmed my suspicion that he completely mis-identified the problem (said my brake line was rusty and causing brake issues, when in reality anyone with any bike experience could see it was the calipers) and sold me the wrong part. I am convinced that the only reason this place is still in business is because its within walking distance of NC States campus

People here were super helpful and didnt make it seem like the thing I was asking for help with was a big deal. Prior to stopping in at Cycle Logic I went to a different, highly-rated, bike shop in the area asking for a super simple, 30-second fix. The guys there were cool, but despite all of them sitting around doing nothing I was told that they could look at my bike but Id probably have to leave it with them. Given that I had ridden it there this wasnt an option for me. Again, nice guys but something less than motivated today. I get it, weve all been bored with work, but that wasnt helping me at all. Anyway, I rode over to Cycle Logic, asked him about my problem and in the time it took to discus some trails he had me completely taken care of. Will make this my first stop in the future.

Ive been doing business with Cycle Logic for 20+ years. Ive purchased 3 road bikes: (2) Fuji Roubaixs and now a Cannondale Synapse SE.While I try to be a loyal customer if treated right, I still am a shopper by nature and always research the market place at other local shops and read articles and product reviews on the Internet be it bikes or what have you. With that process I found myself coming back to Cycle Logic. They always point me in the right direction on product after Ive communicated clearly my thoughts. Ive been able to take advantage of model closeouts and save $ if available in their inventory. This new 2018 Cannondale road machine is awesome. It has a larger road tire for a more comfy ride along with upgraded hardware and design. The 2017 model was on closeout but there were so many improvements to 2018 and after a demo ride on both, I decided to go with the current smoother riding model; to boot CL had the best price. So, thanks CL for getting me on the right ride. The last three bikes my family has purchased have been from Cycle Logic not counting the Fuji I bought back in 1981. When shopping for a new bike, I was not up sold on something I did not need for my style of riding and pricing is very competitive. When it is time for a tune up or minor repair, I can usually watch them work if my timing is right. When a repair is going to cost more than the original estimate, I get a call to confirm the amount unless I give them the go ahead up to a certain amount. When I am in the shop, I see a lot of bikes that other shops would turn away for repairs, but this shop will let you know why it might not be worth repairing or provide a limit on whats reasonable to invest in an old bike. Yes, if you come in with a entry level Wal-Mart store bike that has been riden without regular tune-ups, it can probably be replaced cheaper than it can be fixed.
