Great experience with Pella, when looking for a new patio door. Scheduling an appointment was easy online. David Wheeler came to our house and walked us through options that Pella has available to fit our needs and wants. He was very knowledgeable and could answer all our questions, and we asked a lot of them. He spent the time needed to make sure we were fully informed so we could make the right decision for us. Our experience with David has been great and we are excited about our new door!

George and his mate did not lose a moment, the old windows vanished as if they never existed and the new ones appeared almost as a miracle. Great to work with. Came in and showed me a variety of options to meet my needs. I thought installation was going to be an issue as the full double sliding door unit was to big to fit through my house door to get to the raised deck. They found a way to hoist it up. Then I thought it would take all day to get both the windows and door unit in. They were done by 2:00. Everything looks amazing. They cleaned up my mess as well as theirs before the left. Very friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

First service request to replace the glass in a window was 4/16. I have called numerous times, sent in pictures for everything requested. No one has even tried to schedule a time to come out and fix my window. I have called 1-2 times a week for several weeks and have not gotten anywhere. Now, I can not even get someone on the phone. I have stayed on hold for 20-30 minutes only to be hung up on. It’s June 7th, 2 months into trying to get the glass replaced and nothing. I’m so disappointed, I just want my window fixed.

We just had all the windows in our home replaced with beautiful Pella windows - casement + a few sliders & picture windows & we LOVE them!!Travis was our sales person & oversaw the entire project beautifully from start to finish! The install crew, led by Walter, were incredible-their attention to detail and skills were awesome! Travis and the crew wore masks at all times, put booties over their shoes anytime they had to come into the house, & they were absolutely lovely to work with! Our new windows are gorgeous we already notice a difference as far as keeping our heated air in & the cold air out! On the Pella website we found the door style we wanted, the local sales rep came by to confirm other options to work towards the price we were comfortable with and then a tech came by to confirm measurements.When the door unit was built a small crew brought it by and had it installed within a half day with only minimal touch ups to interior walls and trim. The guys were very personable and left the work area just as they found it. Very smooth process all around!

Travis is the gentleman that I worked with as I was evaluating a new patio door/window. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. His promptness and attention to detail were exemplary. George and James did the installation. Those two are the best I have ever worked with. They, like Travis, were very detail oriented and are true craftsmen. This was a significant investment for me and my home and I felt like all three of these gents cared about my home and my project just as much as I did. Amanda was the project coordinator. She went above and beyond to accommodate some last minute logistical challenges that were created as a result of some other work going on at my home. The bottom line is what I mentioned earlier; these folks treated my job like it was being performed at their homes. I highly recommend this Pella team!

My wife and I have been Pella customers for 30 years having installed their products in two homes. For all that time we have had good use and service. That ended in March of this year. A roofer knocked out a window pane and since the tint is a Pella exclusive, we had to get one of their replacement windows.Since it was just at the beginning of the pandemic, things were in flux. I had to beg them to send someone to identify and measure the window even though access was from the exterior of the house and no contact or entry into our house was required. Eventually, they sent a technician who got what was necessary for the order.Time went by and I had heard nothing from the Greensboro, NC service center regarding installation. Finally, I called and they said the window was there (but no one had called me to set up installation) and they wanted to install it. They gave me a lengthy time for the installation to occur, but after I had protested, they managed to shave a few days off the wait.Day came and the technician arrived and after a few minutes told me they had the wrong replacement window and would have to order a second replacement. Again, I had to argue with the Greensboro office to try and get that expedited.Eventually, another window was coming and the installation was set for last Thursday for a late morning appointment. 30 minutes before my appointment, I got a call from the service center in Greensboro announcing that THE SECOND REPLACEMENT WAS ALSO NOT RIGHT!!!I was (and still am) furious. How can their technician and factory make the same mistakes twice?? Again, I asked for expedited service and got about the same timeline as my first replacement window. I also asked to speak to a manager in Greensboro and was told that no one was available. I called back later and insisted and was put through to someone (Chris?) who was there but who let the calls go to his voicemail. Neither he or anyone from Greensboro has called me back.Having hit a dead end locally, I called the plant in Iowa wanting to vent. First call resulted in a message to call back after 1:30 p.m. CDT because of a meeting. I did, got the same message again. Both times I left voicemails requesting a call back. As of this writing, that hasnt happened.To have had this absolutely horrible experience after such a long association with the brand says something about their loss of customer focus and responsiveness. I have no bad comments to make about the products, but if you buy them with the expectation of receiving service particularly in this part of the country, do so with caution.

Tom came to my home and discussed the replacement options for our large picture window. I had been to big box stores and the reps could not even figure out how to use their software on a large window. Toms expertise gives me great confidence I will be satisfied with the final install. He was prompt, courteous and very professional. Explained everything about the process in great detail. Thats nice, as it is a first time project for me and I barely knew what questions to ask.

Overall my Pella purchase has been very smooth. The installation had to be rescheduled at one point, but communication was excellent with David Wheeler the scheduler; he kept me well updated, even on Saturday! Everything went smoothly and on time. Pella Windows of North Carolina has been paid for work at my home for 20 months that they have not completed. They were contracted with and paid in full to replace a window in my home 20 months ago. They have sent workmen to my home 5 times in this 20 month period and each time they brought the wrong window. Each time they refuse to return with the right window for 2 to 4 months. Today they came back and told me the window would not fit again.For 15 months I repeatedly asked for a supervisor or manager to contact me and they refused. Finally, a supervisor called after I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint. He was very nonchalant about their horrible performance and responded to the BBB complaint with a less than honest response. My complaint changed nothing. They still took months before they returned and returned with a window that would not fit.It is inexcusable that it takes them months each time to return and inexcusable that management doesn’t care enough to intercede and remake the windows and return in days rather than months. I have spoken with many people about this who tell me this type action is the norm for this company. I simply do not see how they stay in business although I understand their business is in trouble because of their poor performance. I even had one employee tell me that if I didnt like the situation I could find someone else to do it. I had another speak to me in my home in a very threatening manor.Youll notice many 5 start reviews here, most of which come from people who have only ever done one google review. Also, I have researched this company thoroughly, talked to former employees and former customers and I know this company is in trouble and has terrible customer relations. I highly recommend not doing business with this company.

Entire process was great. Representative explained all options for window replacement. Explained completely various options and cost impact. Windows arrived as scheduled. Installation was well coordinatedInstallation crew was fantastic and very considerate of our house. Replaced 8 windows in around 6 hours and outside and inside looked great. 100% satisfied with entire process and the follow up.

Donald Snowden is one of the best salesman I’ve ever worked with. The other estimates I got from other companies were very direct and almost pushy. Donald sat down for a couple hours with my wife and I to help us come up with new ideas that we liked even better than our original idea of French doors. I was worried it would be expensive but he gave us a great deal. Once the door was delivered he came back to check if everything was ok and even “helped”(He almost single handedly carried it)us carry it up a flight of stairs to the back porch. Not too many salesman do that! I couldn’t be happier with our new sliding door.

Very poor customer service. Our front door lock failed and even though under their classification this is considered a Security risk we still cannot get a technician out for 3.5 weeks. Even though this repair is considered under warranty they suggested I pay a locksmith because they cant come out sooner. Further more they want a credit card on file just in case they need to make charges. I reminded the CSR Bailey this is all under warranty and she said the company policy is to have it anyway when I asked to speak to the manager all she would provide me is Bob will call you back.

Our experience with Pella has been exceptional -- so much so that we are now on phase 3 of our window and door repair in our (mostly glass) home. Our contact, Travis, is prompt, responsive and courteous -- and some of his small actions show quality of character, like locking our gate after leaving or being extra sweet to our dog. George, our technician, is so incredibly skilled; the quality of his work is excellent. He goes out of his way to do things right, knows the nuances of door/window repair and keeps his word. Make no mistake, Pella is pricey. However, with respect to product installation and people -- you truly get what you pay for.

My existing French doors needed to be replaced from damage due to a break-in. They had a custom stain that was matched to other full length window casings. I was concerned that the new French doors may not exactly match. When they delivered the new doors for installation I was very happy to see they matched perfectly. George and his team did an excellent job with the install. On-time with a very quick, clean installation.

We installed Pella replacement windows in our entire house. The process was great from the initial meeting with the salesperson to the final installation. I have been struggling with getting Pella windows and doors installed in my home. Our contact is no longer at Pella, so we are left dealing with the installation coordinator. Our original install date was May 18th, but it kept getting pushed back due to our doors being back ordered. They were supposed to ship on June 24th, but now the Pella guy is telling us next week or the following, that he has no idea where they are located now. I am extremely done with this company and will make sure to tell all of my friends and family not to use Pella. We put down thousands for a downpayment in FEBRUARY, and will most likely not even see our new windows and doors in July. How come you cant track where the doors are, but I can track my Target order step-by-step? I WANT MY MONEY BACK AND THIS TRANSACTION CANCELLED. My next step is taking my story to the news.

Everyone was very pleasant to work with from beginning to end. The gentleman that came our to do the estimate somehow stayed pleasant while we made him change details around over and over to compare several options. Then on installation day the crew was kind, sweet to our puppies, informative, and efficient. The work was amazing, no more drafty windows. They seal the windows several ways to make sure they are solid and not going to draft on us at all. They open with a PINKY! The whole experience was amazing start to finish. Cannot recommend them more. Very much worth the price.

Pella windows are good quality windows but be aware of the total lack of organization with delivery. I ordered my windows in 2018 and and was delivered partially and incorrectly and damaged in June of 2019. After 2 weeks windows are still missing, communication is lost and the entire order is held up while no one is taking responsibility of their mistake.If I knew this up front I would have never purchased the Pella brand rather go with a more reliable competitor.

We are very happy with the Pella windows and doors. From the initial site survey, ordering, delivery, and installation, Donald Snowden and the rest of the Pella team were extremely helpful. Donald even went out of his way to followup on the installation after we received 9 inches of snow and we were out of town that week.

EDIT: They reached out and apologized for the delay in contacting me and did make it up to us. Their worksmanship is unrivaled and I do plan to have more work done by Pella.Terrible experience with their customer service. We had new windows and a back door installed this fall. It came to light after the install that the crew had accidentally punctured our upstairs AC coolant line resulting in a leak and therefore no coolant for the unit. I contacted Pella to ask for their crew to cut a hole in the side of the house for the AC repair crew. I also asked if they would be willing to chip in on the cost: estimated to be about $350. After more than a week of getting the run around Carson called me on a Friday. He told me he had some calls to make and would get back with me the next day. I never heard from him. Three calls and two voicemails have gone unanswered and I ended up spending $700 to have the AC line fixed and the coolant refilled. I am severely disappointed in Pella.

We are super excited to see our new sliding patio doors installed soon. While we were a little set back on the price for doors we selected, we believe you get what you pay for. The warranties and guarantees tied to our new doors plus the fact that they check sub flooring (around the doors) during install is important to us. Very straightforward sales rep (travis) who made sound recommendations with explainations. This far, the experience has been very positive.

Its a long and ugly story. I needed a repair or replacement for the screen door on my deck. After one no show, the person who came out misdiagnosed the problem and we ordered an incorrect door that not only did not fix the problem, but that also didnt match other doors in my home. I have never experienced such uncoordinated and poor service. After all, I was a customer trying to purchase. At least I got a full refund, but I did waste about 10 hours trying to buy what I needed. Dont bother with Pella; there are far better companies out there.

We showed up Tuesday March 20, 2018 @ 1:35 PM. The door was locked and no one there. Another contractor was also waiting (He also noted that the Pella sales person didnt show up to an earlier appointment). I called the listed number which went to a national call center. They said that they should have been opened and didnt know why. I got a hold of a sales person, but he said he didnt have anything to do with the Raleigh show room. We then drove to the Greensboro showroom and experienced a worse situation, but Ill post that under their review. I suggest avoiding these folks. No one appears to know what their doing. Interesting to note, virtually all the positive reviews are from people who have only posted one review....Hmm, something doesnt smell right.

Bill Gass is creative and thorough in his recommendations for window and door choices. He makes suggestions without being pushy and follows up with quality deliverables. He is the primary reason that we chose Pella after speaking with representatives from other companies. His vision exceeded our expectations!

Their concern and efforts to help get a resolve was over and beyond reproach. Their passion to satisfy their customers, whether direct or indirect, is well noted. Although my Pella product were not installed by a certified Pella contractor, the Raleigh Team treated me as one of their own. A customer is a customer regardless. I see why Pella has been so successful since 1925, because with exemplary employees like the ones I encountered (Sandy, Bill G, Chad C) that goes beyond their call of duty to rectify a situation that was not created by one of thier own is highly commendable. Pella will forever get my recommendations and my business. Bill Gass and his installers did a great job in doing my son home, from beginning to end.If you need any windows or doors install, I recommend you call on Bill Gass, a fine salesman, but a person first. Have Pella door installed in 2014 and it is leaking. Looking for repairs and the first available service was 6 weeks out and they demanded credit card information up front. So, they will sell you stuff but wont repair stuff and put your security at risk by collecting credit card information. Think before you buy!
