Always extremely crowded unless its near closing time. Very hard to find someone who is willing to help unless you wait the customer service line and even like that your issue or question might not get resolved.

I love everything about shoprite, especially this one. The workers are friendly, the place is clean and well stocked. I can always find an employee when I need something whether it’s repackaging 2 meat packages into 1 or finding a product on the shelves. I went to their pocketbook bingo with my mom and we had the best time ever. They treated us like family and made me even happier to support their store for all of my grocery shopping needs.The “long lines” everyone talks about go by in 2-5 minutes. And even if they took longer, I think everyone in this world can benefit from a few minutes of slow down in this crazy busy world. The “overcrowding” isn’t something that this store has much control over. Yeah, they could limit people that come in but then all the whiners would put bad reviews that they have to wait outside before they go in.

I was shopping in the other stores that are in the strip mall and decided to get a few things at shoprite. Im so glad I did. I usually dont shop here but I might have to start. I like the location and layout inside the store. It is clean and has a lot of space in between isles. The staff was professional and help me find what I was looking for. As I was browsing I noticed the sales on certain items are excellent. Also, I loved the fresh cooked foods they have along with sushi and I think I even saw a poke bowl. I cant wait to go back to try the foods they have. Over all it was a pleasant experience and I would absolutely recommend this shoprite to anyone looking for a new spot to shop for groceries.

Nicely maintained Shop Rite servicing a discerning north NJ population. Theyve got quite a selection of items, including freshly sourced groceries as well as nationally distributed items. I bought some frozen duck, which I attribute to the east Asian population here that creates the demand for it. Ive never cooked a duck, but Im going to give it a shot tomorrow!

A great place to get everything you need for the week. The deli counter always has fresh meat and cheese. The produce is great and generally fresh as well. The staff is also helpful and friendly. I go out of my way to shop here because they have everything you need in one place.

A very big Shoprite very close to the state line. A few more products than a normal shoprite but not as much variety as one would think. Not cleverly organized, but then few Shoprites are. Prices are OK and quality is decent as long as you dont expect perfection from store brands. For bargains Aldi and Lidl are better, and for quality theres Trader Joe, Stew Leonard, and Whole Foods. Good for a middle income time deprived family, though the customers dont seem to be having much fun

I needed some Pom juice .. it was in stock and a good price .. it wasnt too crowded at 1:30pm Friday .. no long lines .. yay !

Large grocery store and better prices than Stop & Shop and Acme. Customer service typically very helpful. Lots of self check out lanes and still cashiers as well. They provide disposable grocery bags.

Customer service is horrible; cashiers no longer ask you for coupons or even your loyalty card!! Absolutely grumpy, rude, self entitled people, as if I should pack my own groceries! I just finished my job, you didnt help me with my job, so just do your job!!!

I dont know whats going on with this place lately. Arrived at 2 pm. The Grab n Go cold cut section was cleaned out and had not been replenished. The dozen or so cartons of strawberries were each filled with before is various stages of rot. I moved on to the frozen section, picked up what I could and left with a plan to frequent another grocery store tomorrow.

My Wife and I used ShopRite for our backyard Wedding cake and flowers; simply put they were superb! The Bakery Staff was excellent in creating our custom cake and the Floral Staff was very helpful. From ordering to pickup to the outcome, it was a amazing! The flower actually were made at the Hillsdale location and that team was extremely responsive to when we could pickup the flowers and how to properly store them ahead of the Wedding. Thank you all!

My mom works in the same little area that the Shop Rite is located and that makes it very convenient. We have all the brands wed expect to get and much much more. Recently Ive been trying new brands too of food and drinks and its awesome! I definitely recommend this place to shop!

Decent ShopRite, always very crowded everyday all day. Nights are the best times to shop unless they are restocking the shelves. Only real problem is no one returns their carts and the store can’t keep up with them, carts are all over the lot.

Great store. Always crowed. But that means that the food is always fresh. Great sushi! They will make anything you want, just go there first, tell them what you like, and they will make a roll or whatever. Ask for John, he is super friendly! After you finished your shopping, pick up your sushi.

Always overcrowded, long lines at checkout, it can be very confusing to find items as they get moved around very frequently, the self checkout computers glitch often, and also today this one lady talked to me like I an four (I am almost 30).

My go to ShopRite. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Well stocked and clean. Only wished they had a liquor department. 😁

Ramsey Shoprite had all the sale items in-stock which Hillsdale had none of. Ramsey store might be my new goto supermarket.

Its a Shop Rite. What you see is what you get . Too crowded for me to go there often, and the check out lines are long ... but they move fairly quickly. Prices are reasonable.I prefer the Shop Rite in Hillsdale, or dare I say it, Wegmans in Montvale were there is never a long line and more space between shoppers.

Go here once a week and its always nice and tidy. Reasonable prices for the everyday common necessities

There was a large man walking around ShopRite Ramsey today with no mask. Like any other concerned individual, I told him to put one on. All of the employees brushed it off and said it’s “medical”. What does that even mean???? Why should he be able to put others at risk?????? Not impressed with the way ShopRite handled that. This is why I won’t be coming here anymore. I’ve seen it happen multiple times.

The line near the condiments goes fast

Went here about 8:30 am and found the store relatively uncrowded with people wearing masks and generally keeping a good social distance. Some products were missing either due to promotions or short supply. The store has signs posted indicating any limits due to supply problems. Toilet paper was available, including name brands, but there was a limit of 1 for the bulk packs. There are arrows at the ends of each aisle indicating which direction to navigate the aisle. However, at this time of the morning, the crowd was light enough that it didnt really matter. At checkout, customers lined up in 2 aisles to wait for an open register. One for the self-checkout registers and one for the cashiers. Overall, the lines moved realitvely fast, although I could see that it might take awhile at busier times of the day.

Well designed and laid out. Appealing appearance. There were a number of items not available at my local ShopRite. Including the grapefruit flavored seltzer which is fabulous and unparalleled. Its on sale this week for $4.80 which is the best price anywhere, including Costco. There were no bargains in produce, but the display was nice. Bargains were posted up front and there were self checkout lanes that moved much faster than the typical lanes. Worth visiting this ShopRite. Beware, its not visible from the road, but there are many other stores to visit at this location as well.

This is a great ShopRite. I had an issue at self-check out with my coupons and was kindly helped by the staff member. I appreciate the patience they showed me; and suggest that other employees follow the same manners. I like shopping here very much and will come back again.

Best supermarket around for pricing and variety. We actually live in NYC and always stop in when visiting family because of how great it is.Only reason I knocked it down a star is because it attracts the most aimless people clogging up the aisles and deciding busy intersections are the best place to take up all of the space and have a conversation. I tear through this place with a basket only because Id lose my mind otherwise.

Love Shop Rite in Ramsey they know where everything is. Trish is great with customer service and Kathleen is a great flower designer. Very happy with both of them, and the rest of the employees like Rose,Linda and ect.

Only reason Im giving this a four is because its crowded as all hell, and when its crowded, navigating near the registers gets to be a huge cluster fudge. Beyond that the store is stellar. If you have time between customers running you over with their carts, take a look around. Everything is clean, proper, and staff genuinely care about helping you because this store has a bit of a chip on its shoulder when compared to other stores, so their staff takes pride in what they do. Thats something I appreciate.Redo the floor planning and youd have a solid 5

This store is a big time favorite with the local community!!! Great precooked food to take home is available. The sushi is fresh and well prepared. Best of all is the great care the owner gives to the community.

I personally wasn’t a fan of the self-checkout at first but there was this young lady (Angela) who was very nice and helped me with it. My only complaint would be the bags, they are awful.

I always enjoy shopping at Shoprite. My only concern is many customers are not following safety protocols even with easy to see and follow signs and instructions.

Fairly well stocked. Covid protocols in place, but they need to strengthen one way aisle compliance badly. I downgraded my rating 10/15/20 because of the unsafe condition due to absolutely no attempts to encourage customers to socially distance by obeying one way aisle signs. It is evident to me that the manager doesnt care about customer protection from covid. Now there are no announcements or signs telling people to obey the one way signs. Store personnel ignore customers going the wrong way. If you believe in following virus protocols to reduce your chances of catching covid, I suggest you shop elsewhere.

If you value your health during covid 19 pandemic... DO NOT SHOP HERE... management does nothing to protect you the shopper or workers... no one pays any attention to social distancing or mask requirements... might as well be at a covid party with 19 year olds in Miami

They are just better than Tallman Shoprite.

The aisles are a little tight for multiple carts to get through so there can be some traffic jams and some products are not where youd expect them to be. Otherwise the store is clean, produce is great and most of the staff are friendly. I go here often and during peak times it can be a madhouse, something to keep in mind so I try to go in the early morning or later in the evening.

A very busy super market but for the right reasons. The best prices on goods with a vast variety of organic and vegan friendly products. Ive been going here for 4 years now, I have yet to come across something that this supaermaket didnt carry. Amazing job with locally sourced organic produce.

A big, clean store. Mixes a nice balance between Costco sized type savings, high end specialty food store and big grocery store choice. Do your research before you go, Mike a good list and saving will abound.

What a great store! They have a great selection of all different types of food. If youre looking for natural and organic foods, theyve got it and for decent prices too. Plenty of hot and cold prepared foods as well as fresh made baked goods too. Theyve just recently expanded their self checkout area so checking out should go much faster.

Prices and overall selection are terrific. I like that they have plenty of full-service checkouts open, in addition to the self-checkout areas. It gets crowded quickly, but they seem prepared for it.
