This is my favorite Costco in Sacramento County. They always have what I need (and then some!), and it is so easy to maneuver the store. We needed a hallway runner rug, but also saw they had a large area rug for a great price, which we may go back for. The cashiers are quick, friendly, and efficient. We went later in the day on a weekday, and there was only 1 person ahead of us in line. They do have self-check lines if that is your thing. We also got a full pizza from the food court (which is outside, so anyone can utilize it, not just Costco members). The pizza came out quickly and was amazing! Looking forward to our next trip!
This is only for the outside food court...I love an outside food court at Costco...But Ive gotten really used to the walk up kiosks inside for payment...and Im converted to those now..much easier on all parties
Love the food courts. You cannot beat the value of costco like literally. You get 52 cent sodas with refills at the food courts and while you stock up for the house.
Good Costco. We all know the upsides to Costco as a chain right? Save big money if you buy mayonnaise in 50 gallon drums. Hotdog and a soda for eight bits. All as expected..The downsides are standard too. The ankle slaying demolition derby in line for the checkstand. Carrying your groceries home in old fruit boxes. The obligatory death match for parking. Also all as expected..What makes it good is the presence of a well arranged gas station, a reasonably easy approach by suburb streets, and the snack bar arranged in such a way that it doesnt interfere with cart navigation.
Stopped in to grab drinks for my son’s bday party. I live close to this one, so I frequent it. I have never been asked for my membership upon entry (you can’t even check out without it) gentleman at the door asked for it and I replied it was on my phone. He made us stop, pull to the side and get my phone out of my bag to show him. As he allowed 4-5 people walk in without showing their membership. Mark also sarcastically said “this is store policy” but let the 2 people ahead of us go without checking them also. If this is store policy why did he not check others? He stereotypically singled us out and I am livid. As I was exiting I asked another associate for his name as he had his badge backwards. He was not checking memberships at this time as well. I will not return and will be closing our membership.
Whats there not to love about Costco. Great prices friendly motivated staff. Costco cares for its employees. Would like to see the cashiers communicate more to the customers instead of having personal conversations with other staff during the checking process.
Not as crowded as the Folsom Costco - they have a lot of items that would normally sell out there. They have the food court outside which feels more pleasant somehow. The gas station is small and tight though. Nicely laid out store as well.
Arrived for an optometry appointment and stayed for a nice lunch for 2 for around $7.00. Costco provided the most effortless optometry experience we have ever had.
Not crowded, clean n organized. Dropped in for brown eggs and avocados n left with sale items including sliced cheddar cheese and Jimmy Deans turkey sausage. Lunch meat has no nitrites and there is a wide variety...ham, chicken, turkey n roast beef.
I mean its Costco, what else can I write? Lol. You can find just about anything here. Decent prices. I didnt really run into any employees so I cant say that theyre polite or rude. The cashier I got was cool and kept good conversation while we were checking out; if all employees are like him then Id say theyre all polite.
Always great deals on items on sale. I picked up a pair of Skullcandy wireless earbuds for 90 bucks. Same model for 117 bucks on Amazon.
My wife went shopping with my 1 year old daughter and was treated very rudely by the staff. She was ready to checkout but there s a snag with our pandemic ebt card. wife asked if she can slide the card again, the cashier said no, so she called me to see what the issue was. The staff moved shopping cart with the baby out of her reached to the wall. Lucky the baby didnt fallout of the cart. They didnt even give her a chance to pay with her ATM. They talk bad and disrespecting her, say its probably gonna take about an hour. Just because that card having issue that doesnt we cant pay for groceries. So quick to push her aside. We are working class and we paid for that member . Negative star if theres an option. very poor customer service. Better service from Walmart staffs.
Twice a month we go to stop up on veggies and roasted chickens that are so gooood.
I give it a 1 based on the constant panhandling by a whole family with small children every day through the pandemic and management does nothing to stop this. The pandemic is over pretty much get these people out of the exit by gas station . Clogs traffic up trying to exit out of there from these people running to cars for money.I ve stopped shopping there until the manager takes it upon themselves to deal with this issue I will shop other stores but not this one.
Cant pay if you dont have a mask on. But its fine for the store to give out food again inside the store as samples. Seems like each employee exercises their own believes if they will let you pay or not based on their believes of Covid. Been to other Costco where mask are not required but optional
Love Costco! Always spend to much money though, not in a bad way, I just find stuff I didnt know I needed.
Great hot dog stand and open to the public, not just members.
Its Costco great gas prices love to buy in bulk its wonderful.
Lines have become very quick and efficient, get in and get out. Everything is organized and always fresh. Great prices. Friendly staff.
The Rancho Cordova Costco is well worth the drive. Always have what we need and checkout is a breeze.
Beautiful Warehouse and fully stocked. Second time I had a Male Cashier with a rude attitude but All else was Great. 1 star for the Cashier.
Love love my costco hot dogs for lunch
Surprisingly smaller then the others still great place too shop just make sure too have your card ready because they do check....like its scary how good they are at it.... anyway great bakery and great prices overall they have a public restroom you just have too find it good luck with that btw its toward the back I think it moves like the room of requirement pharmacy is spot on too oh the food court is outside and not to size shame but it is smaller then the others but still worth going too
Quick in and out to get dinner. Very fast with self checkout
Very different store than the two I go to normally. Seems small, but clean, good service!
One of the cleanest Costco I’ve gone too! Staff super nice. Lines go by fast. Food court is super fast too!
Costco is the best to go shopping at. Problem is, you become a kid wanting everything thats there and you get to the check stand and get the surprise of your life. But, we still keep on doing it.😁🥰
After being a member for seven years I’m seriously contemplating about continuing with it the last seven years myself my wife and my mother have been on a membership I went in today to go purchase a $500 gift card that I was going to donate to a local law-enforcement department. When I arrived I was told to get in line and then they didn’t have a card, and then was directed over the membership area where when they want to go run my membership apparently Costco had removed me as a member when they switch their policy to each membership can only have two card holders. They acknowledged that I was a member and had been a member for quite some time but because I did not have a physical card could not purchase a gift card to donate to another entity I guess it’s fine that you guys don’t like money
Not busy at the time I pumped. There was a strong gas smell.
Just went there for lunch great deal and amazingly good for the price and its nice that everything is located outside the store
Well stocked, was in and out quickly. Lines were not long at all. Staff was friendly!
Always plentiful always different things at different stores and some things the same
A market for people who dont want to spend more and get things cheap.
Great service. Great staff. Usually well stocked with needed items.
I love this place great deals at times and great ITAM every things wounderful check it out
One of the quieter and my nicer ones. Very enjoyable
Better than usual Costco experience. They provided black masks 😷 and the warehouse was nice 👍 and clean! Staff was so so and pizza 🍕 excellent along with the Dessert 🍨
This Costco is ok. It is not as nice as the one in Rancho Cordova or the one in Folsom. If you see something that you like you better buy it right then. Otherwise you may be out of luck. Not so much in the other two stores mentioned above.
Saying unprofessional would be an understatement. Not only does this place one of the most insensitive, cruel, and heartless employe who studied at UC Davis, but former T-Mobile employee who was laid off is one who condones the incivility in the American workplace.I avoid shipping here and recommend it too. I only stop to use the gas station on very rare occasions.
Gas station.. Propane station.plenty of parking. Topical Costco.
Our family loves Costco for the store experience! I ended up getting a slice of pepperoni pizza and soda after checkout. The pizza was still doughy. Went to exchange it and the woman said that piece was good, but it was doughy also. So disappointed, dont think Ill get pizza there again!
Went today and got in and out very quick. Not very many people and lines were very short. Much easier than the one in Rocklin.
Busiest Costco Ive ever been to. But for the most part, everybody is there to get in and out, gets a little sporty with a shopping cart, 😎
I love the way our Greater Sacramento area Costco team members are very friendly and helpful. The customer service is always above and beyond my expectations. They definitely deserve a raise.
I love shopping at Costco! Im able to keep ahead on food and household necessities and the staff is pleasant. Makes shopping a real delight when youre on a fixed/low imcome.
One Costco is like any other Costco right? Yeah, pretty much but I swear this one never has long lines. Went at about 1 on a Saturday and walked right up to the cashier without waiting. Dont tell too.many people though ok? Dont want this inside info getting out!
Go to Folsom Costco for a much better selection. This location is just fine, its aging, relatively small, and doesnt have nearly the organic options Folsom has.
I love this store but some of the workers are very rude.
Awesome customer service Representatives and please they were super helpful and I was looking for a new camera for Fathers Day and they knew all the right things to point out to help me find the perfect purchase way to go staff of Costco off sunrise five stars all the way around super happy customer will definitely be returning Im so happy that Ive made this my Costco store for life
Costco is the best. The locations in Folsom, Citrus Heights, Roseville, and Elk Grove have more stuff and variety than the Rancho Cordova location, but there are consistently less crowds at the Rancho location.
Great prices, the only complaint is they change places of their products.
Friendly nice priced place
They always have great prices on items you need daily. Also on items you didnt even know that you needed. Always an adventure when you go shopping at Costco. I like this place
Wish Costco had larger variety of beverages... Sams Club has significantly larger variety...
The best buy for blankets and food anything you what
Okay I love Costco. But my last visit at this location, the cashier didnt see my club card lying on top of my first grocery item so she POINTED THE SCANNER IN MY EYE. Didnt greet me. Didnt politely ask where my card was. Then she said awkward I didnt know what to do I shouldve screamed. I shouldve asked to talk to a supervisor. But I silently fumed and just hoped the moment would end. Never going to this location again.
Clean well stocked store.Friendly people who come from a far to shop the storePleasant environment.
Great store, great customer service, awesome selections and love the snack bar!
Cheap gas, short lines and my wife loves the place. What more could you want!
My favorite Costco location. Friendly staff, less people overall and a large, clean facility.
Always crowded long check out lines but other than that very good
Cant go wrong with Costco. However, this one is smaller and older with only 2 fridge units (total of 3 aisles of fridge compared to other ones, thus a slightly smaller selection of things compared to other Costcos.
I continue to shop here because the people that work here exhibit excellent customer service and concern for the patrons!
Best fuel prices in town
I questioned a couple employees as to where an advertised vacuum cleaner would be located. Surprisingly, I was directed to the customer service desk. One gentleman went further into detail about not having or sold out. But while he was talking I noticed the vacuum right beside the two of us, and he was just working right there is why I asked him, hilarious!Once he directed me to the front desk, I sightly waved my hand thank you, then put the advertised vacuum cleaner in my cart. Thank you, Costco!
The only good thing they have going for themselves is that they’re not packed. Other than that. The employees are lazy and rude. I grabbed an item hat didn’t have a tag, they had a “runner” grab another one for me. I wait by the registers...10 minutes later I see the “runner” walking around... talking to other co workers... he goes back to the registers... do I walked up to him and asked him where my item was and he didn’t get another one for me. He said I’m more then welcome to grab it myself.
Exactly like Costco everywhere 😂
Unfortunately, Costco now requires you to wear a mask, even if you have a medical condition. Additionally, they will yell at you on a megaphone during your shopping experience, telling you to wear your mask, social distance, etc. The employee stands in the middle isle or back of the store to yell on the megaphone, as all the shoppers pass by. It makes for an unpleasant shopping experience! Costco used to be my favorite place to get groceries, but now I rarely go there.
I personally think Costco makes the best cheese pizza ever! So when I want to bring home a tasty cheese pizza I always stop at this Costco to pick it up. You can call in or you can just order it at the window. The longest Ive ever waited for a window order is 12 minutes so thats not too bad! Totally worth the wait!
Honestly one of the best COSTCO’s out there. Not as super packed as the one in the Arden area and Folsom area. Able to get in and get out, but let’s be honest who can ever just go in for a few items 😂 Always super clean, employees are always really helpful and will guide you to the items your looking for or the area. Great place overall
Stopped for a quick lunch at outdoor service at Costco. They have stopped having combination piazza. Left and went home for lunch.
Very clean. Never too crowded.Love the food court on the outside.
Love Costco! Decent alcohol, beer, and bulk prices abound. Good gas prices too.
This store is the smallest store but is well stocked. Staff is always helpful! Pharmacist could be a little more helpful in getting specific manufacturers of medications like the Folsom store does for me.
Greatest shopping experience on planet earth. They dont have everything on planet earth, but if they dont have it maybe YOU dont NEED it. haha.Seriously, I love Costco, the prices are awesome, and NOT always the lowest, but darn near. Roasted chickens are worth the price of admission daily. Free goodies to boot down many food aisles. Everything from tech needs to homes needs, and stuff you dont NEED, but gotta have. Lastly, you come upon a great buy, you better buy it, because it wont be there when you come back. Dont forget to get awesome food at the court when you leave, or get some for shopping time, either way. Hot dog and drink for $1.50, yeehaw.
The people were nice the lions were short
Love the quantity and quality of the items they have. Best $60 ever spent
I’ve worked for Costco in the Bay Area since 2014. This is the worst Costco I’ve ever set foot in. I’ve been coming here for years. And so far, every department I’ve had to deal with have been rude. From Marquese standing at the door, to the meat department, the women working in the optical department, their runners and cashiers. I’ve complained to the board runner numerous times. But they only say what you wanna hear so that you can get out of their faces.Costco should do better, hire better
My new fave costco
Great Costco store! Employees super helpful and friendly, layout was easy to get around in for my first time there. Fast and convenient check out too. Store was very clean and not much blocking any aisles. Thanks for making this a quick trip!
Glad to see this store still has the solar led light string available, but disappointed that they do not have coke cola in the plastic bottles, only cans of soda
Good for a quick bite to eat the chicken bake is always a good choice for something quick.
Great place to get a lot of products needed in bulk even better than Sams Club and I work there for 10 years they have a lot more fresher product a little bit better quality as well
Actually quick visit. They didnt have what I was looking for : magnification glasses 2.50 only in a cheap design and for female in plastic. No metal frames.
Outside food court is great.
Just a quick stop for gas & a few necessary items on my way home.
Great prices on bulk items.
I go once a month to Costco shopping. I enjoy shopping experience each time.
I guess if you get there late it does tend to be crowded in the place while shopping.
Costco is great. It takes a lot to get 5 stars from me. Because it supposed to be damn near perfect to get it, I think. Costco get 5. Large selection, great staff, conscious of Covid-19 in these times. Food is always great, and the merchandise is always high quality. Just all around great store.
Love my Costco, in Rancho. They always have plenty of items in stock.
