They did an awesome job with my system, clean and organized wiring, the fine tuning was exactly how I personally like it with my variety of music that I listen too. Gave me multiple options to choose from that fit well within my budget to get everything I asked for out of it.

Area 51 is a shining example of a small business that cares about the satisfaction of its’ customers and the professionalism of their work effort. I went there to have a unique Excalibur Remote Start and 2-Way Security Alarm installed in my Honda Accord. I didn’t even know Area 51 existed until I was referred to them by the manufacture of the Alarm system I had purchased. It just goes to show you that some gems remain a hidden secret because of the value of their performance and the quality of their service. I bet if everyone new about them, they would be overwhelmed with customers and that might diminish the quality of their service. As they are now, they truly excel when it comes to customer satisfaction and attention to detail. I went there in the early morning hours as they were opening and was immediately welcomed by the owner, Justin. Area 51 is a family run business and they really work well together as a family. They immediately began work on my installation, but that was not the best part. Justin encountered a bit of difficulty with the installation of the alarm system because I had not provided all the correct and necessary components required to complete the installation. This was not a problem for him as he had the necessary components on hand. But the most impressive part of this was his determination to get the alarm system installed accurately and working in perfect condition. He would not quit until he had achieved a perfect installation and that everything worked as it should. He even had access to his own technical support team with the manufacturer and an unlimited supply of resources to complete the task to his satisfaction; and he expected MORE than I did of himself and his crew. I was amazed at the level of professionalism and determination he displayed; they all displayed!!! Finally, when he had mastered the task and the system was completely installed, he still took into consideration that I was a veteran and was generous enough to throw in a veteran’s discount. This is the difference between going to a large-scale service shop where you are a number, as opposed to a small business service shop where attention to customer satisfaction is of utmost importance. Area 51 also installs Car Audio and Security products as well as Window Tinting, GPS Navigation installations and Remote Starts for a variety of vehicles. It did not matter that it took more time than necessary to install my remote start and car alarm because the end result was a perfect system that works every time. If you need something installed, you can’t beat Area 51 for the best in quality service and customer satisfaction in the County of Berks. I strongly recommend them and I will definitely use their services again if I have need of any other installation projects for my car. I give Area 51 a Five Star Plus Rating.

I went there to get my radio put in along with the double deck it came with as well as some wiring repairs. I have to say justin and the other employees really know what they are doing. I havent had a single problem with my radio and it looks fantastic. The price was fair too. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and would definitely go back if I needed any other radio repairs or installations.

After my mechanic told me the aftermarket radio installed in my Jeep was drawing power nonstop because it was not installed correctly, I went straight to Area 51 because it had good reviews and I like to support small businesses rather than the big box stores. As soon as I walked into the shop, I was helped by Justin and given an appointment to have a new unit installed the very next day.The new stereo was installed quickly and correctly so I dont have to worry about my Jeep battery going dead, and the sound is amazing. Had to go for interlock reasons. The owner is very nice. The lady receptionist often had her baby on the service counter in a car seat, multiple times I frequented. I had totalled my vehicle, and they had to come to the house to swap my interlock into another vehicle. Later to find, it was installed incorrectly, causing 2 batteries AND 2 alternators to die! Then, low-cost interlock had my whole interlock unit changed out, at another vendor, and It was found to be poorly installed, causing all the power draining issues. I was never compensated by anyone for 2 batteries and 2 alternators!And, each 4 seperate times they died, having to jump start my vehicle, caused an error with the interlock device, meaning on top of having to replace the part, I ALSO had 5 days to get it recalibrated, for $26.50! It was 3 mths after it was improperly installed, for the first set to go, one than the next. Then, like clockwork, 3 mths later, the 2nd set. Idk but, it seems to me, since it was improperly installed, Area 51 shouldve been held responsible for compensating me for all 4. If not Low Cost interlock! They NEVER refunded me any of the 4 $26.50 charges for simply jumping my vehicle, either! Area 51 shut down when the pandemic hit. It was closer to me. But, I shouldve gone to Hostile Customs the entire time!

Took my 2010 benz there which I was having a few issues with my led headlights back-up camera and a remote issue and even though it was a challenge area 51 and its staff took great care of me and my vehicle and got me back up and running correctly. When it comes to my car I wont let just anyone touch it but these guys are definitely the ones to go see for any of your radio, sound system, alarms or anything that they might do cause they take pride in their work and offer great service. Thanks again guys at area 51 you made another customer very happy. I will recommend your service to any and all that is looking for a professional top notch job thats done correctly.

My husband just went in today to purchase a radio and schedule an appointment to get it installed after having trouble at a previous place. An appointment was available same day! My husbands car is difficult to deal with being that it is an Infiniti but the job was still done same day and radio looks AND sounds great!
