My mom and I went to Jesse to get tattoos together before I move to Florida. Jesse was by far the sweetest down to earth person we have even had the pleasure of meeting! It was my moms first time getting a tattoo and she was rather nervous(very) but Jesse knew exactly how to explain the process and everything she was doing while she was doing it. She put my mom right at ease! Not only was she a wonderful person but her art! She put together a lovely corresponding tattoo for me and my mom! She really knows her stuff about colors and details everything came out just beautiful. We were both very very happy with our time here. I would highly recommend Jesse or any artist that works in this lovely shop to anyone.

Got my second ever tattoo here from Jesse. My experience with my first tattoo, at a different shop, was not fantastic, so I was nervous. But Jesse was amazing, and had such an amazing attention to detail. She was such a good conversationalist, and keeping me talking made it easier to ignore the pain. She was very understanding when I needed to take a snack break, too! I could not be happier with the tattoo, and I really cant imagine going to a different artist in the area.

Jay”Jersey “ Wymbs was great, I had an old piece that was jacked up from over 15 years. I met with him and discussed how to make it more appealing. He was very perceptive and explained how he could redo the old work. He also gave me the option of a complete coverup / makeover. Which I thought wasn’t possible due to size and scare tissue. He asked what I was interested in and ideas. No rush. I met with him a few weeks later and he should me his renderings based on what I had told him and was blown away.He started up on me 3 weeks later and 4 sessions & many hours later I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome. I also couldn’t believe how light of touch he has, we took breaks due amount of time each session but it wasn’t the pain from getting tattooed for me it actually was stiffness of being in same spot for long time. I’ll definitely being going to Jersey Jay @ Pogue Mahone for all of my future work. I wish I need about him years and tattoos ago.

First Tattoo, Overall experience was awesome. I had called to see if they would take my buddy and I on such short notice. Nicki told us it would be no problem and she started working on our designs before we even got there. By the time we arrived, everything was set up and ready to go. Just matter of sizing up the tattoo for location. She even stayed late and didnt rush the tattoos. Its the extra mile for customer service that is appreciated. Got a septum piercing done here and from the moment I stepped in to the moment I left I felt very welcome. Jason was wonderfully informative before, during, and after my piercing. I was very disappointed to see the complete trasformation of my tattoo design upon arriving at my appointment. They advertise about not making excuses but the excuse as to why my piece needed a complete make over was somethings just dont make good tattos. It almost felt like it was a scam to make a quick 100 off of my deposit. My tattoo was of two butterflies which seems simple enough to me however since I was not willing to let her permanently mark my body with the young ladys version of what I asked for i was not refunded and also told I could pay another 100 to have her try again. No maam. I believe something fishy has taken place today. I didnt need anyone to fix it. Just someone to keep it in the lines and make sure the left looks the same as the right. Be clear as day about what you want before you ever give someone money. And follow any initial gut feelings. Also a good sign to know that you shouldnt work with them is when they interrupt you while your explaining what you want. It means they are not listening to your needs. A tattoo is for life. Its not some conversation you can half pay attention to and then have everything work out right. Listen more to your clients Pogue and guys dont let people give you excuses and keep your money. Nicki was her name. Sorry but its policy to keep money when a clients cancel. I didnt cancel. You ruined the piece and then scammed your client. If youre not capable of a task dont let them make the appointment. I wish this all could have gone differently. Remeber just because you cant do something doesnt mean it cant be done period.
