Great people, great prices for mothers of the groom dresses, so nice of an experience would just label as it was great time. We didnt have an appt but they let my wife come in anyway. If you want a happy place to shop. GO HERE!

I just said yes to the dress at Barefoot Bride and I cannot say enough good things. Myra and her staff are fabulous, knowledgeable, honest, and not at all pushy. My mom and I felt so special and well taken care of throughout the whole experience. I showed Myra a dress I liked and she pulled a bunch of dresses she thought I might like. She was spot on with all of them, but there was one I particularly loved.I had a appointment at another bridal store that same day. When I went there my experience was much different. I felt like the staff wasn’t as knowledgeable or down to earth. They had the same dress I liked for $200 more.The next day I went back to Barefoot Bride and purchased my wedding dress! Barefoot Bride is a must visit for brides and bridesmaids!

Could not recommend Barefoot Bride enough! Mayra and her staff is wonderful! I came here shortly after getting engaged to get a sense of what I was looking for! Mayra took her time letting me explore the dresses and try on a variety of different styles. I wasn’t prepared to make my decision the first time around but I came back for a second time and was torn between two dresses. I was able to take my time to decide which dress would be the dress. My experience at the store was highly personalized and I can’t wait to be able to wear my dress! Thank you to Mayra and everyone at The Barefoot Bride!

The Barefoot Bride was such a breathe of fresh air! After having some negative experiences earlier in the day, I arrived at Barefoot Bride the tone of the day had totally changed. Meg and the other girls were so helpful and accommodating! They were so willing to do whatever they could to help and really focused on making the process as easy as possible for the customer. They made you feel right at home. I regularly worked with Meg throughout the process and she always was positive and witty. She skipped the small talk and made you feel comfortable immediately. Taty worked on my alterations and she did an AWESOME job! She was very sweet, talented, and made you laugh. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience using this shop for my wedding day in August! My only regret is that is that I did not also chose to preserve my dress with them as well.

I had my first ever bridal dress appointment today and it was at Barefoot. I was really uncertain about what to expect, especially because of Covid. I have to say that my experience was FANTASTIC. Both the store and the dresses were clean and my mom, sister, and I felt very safe with the cleaning and social distancing protocols in place. Kim was the associate who helped me and she was a dream. She really LISTENED to what I wanted and pulled a great variety of dresses. She helped make my moment so fun and enjoyable. Overall I am thrilled with my experience at barefoot and would recommend it (and Kim) to anyone!

Myra is amazing! I had an issue with alterations (at a private location) got my dress back 1 week before my sisters wedding and Myra did everything in her power to help me look my best. 5 stars for great customer service! I truly don’t know what I would of done without her. This place cares for there customers

Very surprised this place has a rating of 4.3. I was hesitant to write a review, but Im hoping my experience will help other brides.I left this appointment feeling very disappointed. I arrived with my MOH and friend, and was not greeted or introduced to anyone. The sales representative, did not ask my name or introduce herself to me or my family, until I had asked - and later found out she was the owner. The entire appointment I felt rushed and unimportant. Once I shared that I wanted to narrow down some ideas and come back with my mom, who is sick, I felt even more brushed aside. There was no conversation to personalize the appointment, no connection, and I was trying on dresses that I dont even think were memorable. I wasnt given a chance to even look at the dresses prior to coming out and show my family. I was rushed the whole time and incredibly overwhelmed. The owner was more concerned with where I was going next, and insisting that her shop is better. About halfway through the appointment, I was told I had to switch fitting rooms, because another bride had a larger group and brought her mother. While it was hard to not have my mom there already, I felt worse after that comment. The owner picked up my things and put them in the other room, almost loosing my jewelry that she tossed aside. Towards the end of the appointment, I think she tried to redeem herself and the experience saying I should come back after my next appointment. I left feeling very disappointed and sad, as I was sure I would find a dress here. I would not recommend this place, they dont seem to have an understanding of customer service or making a bride feel special.

I got my Stella York gown for my wedding 9/13/19 from Barefoot Bride. They were so accommodating and helpful with me through out the whole process! I added some extra alterations and they came out beautiful! The shop is so cute, the people are nice, dresses are reasonably priced, and they have a big selection!! I definitely recommend! I already miss having to go there for my appointments, they really made the process fun as it should be!!

I found my beautiful Stella York gown at BareFoot Bride. My mom and I went in with a price point, which they had PLENTY of choices. The dress that ended up being THE DRESS was the first dress I saw. I tried 3 others, but went back to the first one, and it was THE ONE. When I tried it on the second time, our wedding song came on- it was a sign. :) Tati was INCREDIBLE with my alterations! I did need it take in 4x, but every time it got better and better and on my wedding day, it was beyond ANYTHING I could have ever hoped for!! Tati is skilled and absolutely hysterical! I really enjoyed coming to my fittings. :) Megan and the rest of the crew at barefoot were also so helpful and easy to communicate with. I would recommend barefoot bride to anyone looking for a gown. They have an incredible selection at a very reasonable price point. The selection of bridesmaids and mother of the bride gowns are also great!

I could honestly write a book about how much I adore being a customer of BFB. I went over the summer to shop with my bridesmaids, 2 girls at a time. My girls and I felt like we were shopping with our own personal shopper. I felt like I had known Mayra and Kim for years. They want you to have the best experience. What I love the most is how they are not in your face or pushy. My girls got to try on as many dresses as they wanted. When it came time to bring 2 of my pregnant bridesmaids during covid, they felt so comfortable and secure with all of the precautions Mayra has for the store. All 6 of my bridesmaids purchased their dresses. But it couldnt stop there, I loved working with BFB so much, I brought my 2 flower girls in to order their dresses, and my mom ordered her dress!!!! Mayra was amazing working with my mom. My mom felt so comfortable and felt like she got a true Mother of the Bride special experience. Run, dont walk, to BFB. You wont be disappointed!!!!! I cant wait to go back and see my friends when it is time to pick up the dresses! Thanks again, Mayra and Kim!!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!! From the moment my mom and I walked into The Barefoot Bride, we felt special. Stephanie had given us her most undivided attention and was able to identify the type of dress I wanted within minutes!! She helped me find THE MOST PERFECT DRESS!! From that moment on, everything went so smoothly. Through all my fittings the girls worked with me to make sure I looked and felt comfortable and beautiful. Even after the wedding when I had to bring it in to be cleaned, they were still so pleasant and helpful! You honestly feel like you are just hanging out with your girlfriends if you go to The Barefoot Bride...the experience, the quality, the overall execution was out of this world. I highly recommend!!!!

First store I went to try on dresses solo, all consultants very helpful & sweet. Love the style of a small bridal boutique. Didnt get my wedding dress here however brought my mother back for her dress and ended up purchasing hers here & alterations which went smoothly.

Had a comfortable experience when searching for my dress. Very reasonable pricing with gorgeous dresses. Amber was very nice to work with. In the end, I ended up choosing a dress that she picked out for me. I am very happy with the dress and ultimately glad I went there, although they booked my first dress fitting months ago and when my mother called to make sure it was ok to drop my dress off before dinner, they told us they didn’t have the appointment. I was extremely disappointed that they lost my appointment and how I was told there was nothing they could do because no seamstress was coming in. So I did not reschedule and I will be having my fittings done somewhere I’ve been before and trust, which is unfortunate.

Myra, the owner, has been unbelievably amazing with my dress and all of my girls dresses as well. And Megan made my appointment an unforgettable experience and continuously makes me feel like Im the only bride she knows. The attention to detail and amount of care this staff puts into each individual is awesome!! Ive been elsewhere and no one treats you as well as this boutique does. I highly recommend getting your dress and bridesmaid dresses here, it will be an experience you will never forget! Thank you to both Myra & Megan!!!

I did not buy my dress from them, however I did try on dresses there and it was a lovely experience. But I had my dress altered there for my 10/13/18 wedding and their alterations were fantastic!! Taty did such an amazing job, she is so very talented, and she was really easy to work with, plus the alterations were very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them!

After Having 2 terrible experiences I was starting to think that wedding dresses just werent for me. When I went to The Barefoot Bride my experience was completely different. I worked with Kathleen, She was absolutely amazing. She listened to me and what I was looking for. I really would suggest coming here!

I would give zero stars if I could. Lady I worked with was rude from the beginning. Extremely judgmental. Would not let me look through dresses on my own initially. Made so many back handed comments about my size I left in tears. I picked out a dress that I wanted to try on and she responded “I doubt you fit but I guess we can try.” I asked if things could be altered at all and she said no. Every other place I’ve been to was so willing to work with me and never made me feel as terrible as that lady did. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This salon saved my wedding dress! Initially a different salon couldn’t figure out how to bustle my dress and nearly destroyed the fragile french silk. Thankfully, Taty knew exactly what to do and she immediately went to work to fashion 15 discrete, perfectly placed pick-ups. Her handiwork is exceptional, displaying years of experience and expert care. My dress looked amazing on the big day and it was all due to Taty.

I had a good experience at The Barefoot Bride. A smaller boutique, but had a ton of different options to try on. They were not pushy with me to make a decision, encouraged me to go to other locations and shop around (being as this was my second dress shop). I was hoping to find more of a beachy selection of gowns for my destination wedding, but they seemed to have more traditional dresses hence why Im only giving 3 stars. The staff was very friendly!

I absolutely recommend the Barefoot Bride! We ordered all of our bridesmaid dresses from their lovely and large selection and they made the entire process so easy and simple. Megan was our consultant and she was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and very sweet! Fantastic and fun experience here.

Unfortunately my experience at The Barefoot Bride was horrible. My girls and I went here for there dresses. I have several girls in my bridal party. I made my appointment Dec 28, 2018 and explained how many girls that are in my bridal party (at the time I had 6) they said No problem lets make an appointment for you. Made the appointment for Feb 2, 2019 @ 10:00 Saturday. I had called a week before the appointment to let them know that I will be having my last girl come (who was now available for that day.) They said to me word for word Were not allowed that many girls on the weekends. If that was the case why wasnt I informed when I made the appointment. She said We will work with you anyways. Do you have a dress in mind she asked. I said yes. She asked what dress? I replied a Bill Levkoff one shoulder dress. etc. Everything was a go (so I thought.) The day of my appointment all my girls showed up and the manager asked if my name is Kelly (the bride?) I said Yes. She replied Ok let me get the dress for you. Comes out with a totally different dress, not the one I even asked for. I showed her what dress I asked for when I had called the week prior and she told me they didnt even have it on the floor/at there shop. I asked if they had another dress that I was looking at they didnt have that one either. She then had told me right after not having the dress that I only have an hour for all my girls. How is that enough time knowing that fact that I had this appointment for a month and a half. She told me she would call that Wednesday to let me know when the sample dresses will come in. I got the phone call on Wednesday like she said, but the news I got was that the dresses wont be in till March. Then 3 days later the girl that I spoke to the week before my appointment had called me asking When are your girls coming in? WHAT!!! Obviously no one knows whats going on nor any communication in this place. So if its this much of a hassle (when I have other things on my plate) to just get sample dresses etc. How much of a hassle is it going to be to get the dresses and will they be right after all is said and done.

My daughters wedding was on 11/10/17 at the Oyster Point. While taking pictures in the bridal suite the photographer opened the door and a gust of wind blew off the brides veil. Panic set in and we all raced to look for it. Sadly, it was lost and the bride was very unhappy. The florist Dara Ellis, Designs By Dara took me to The Barefoot Bride on Monmouth St. which was still opened and they made a veil that was exactly the same as the one that was lost. I cannot tell you how much we appreciate what you did that day. This is now a story she can tell her grandchildren. Thank you very much!

My bridal appointment was a great experience. After several visits to other shops, I popped in on a whim (which some places frown upon) and she was more than welcoming and happy to help.

Employees are extremely Pleasant, Accommodating and Knowledgeable which is hard to come by these days!!! I would definitely recommend It to any future Brides!!!

Went there the other day to look for a wedding dress and the woman there were EXTEMELY pleasant to deal with. I even brought my ten month old with me and people usually get annoyed by that but they played with him and helped me keep him accupied while I tried on dresses. The owner Mira went out of her way to make sure I was happy and it paid off. I will be sure to get everything I need from her! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I had come out of a boutique down the street with a bad taste in my mouth. I had drove over an hour to see a bunch of dresses they said they had only to find out they only had 1. I was so frustrated and upset, feeling like the drive had been a waste of time. Then saw Barefoot Bride a couple businesses down the street, walked in and told the girl at the front what had happened. They had been busy that day and I didnt have an appt. and she still managed to find me a room and help me find my bridesmaids dresses along with an unexpected surprise...my veil. My day might have started out rough but it ended up being a great day. Thank you Barefoot Bride for all of your help and making my day perfect.

Our first experience shopping for my daughters wedding address was at this wonderful and accommodating salon.What a wonderful beginning! Although we were slightly late and anxious as we entered they immediately put us at ease. Our salesgirl could not have been nicer, more patient and made every attempt to find the perfect dress.We were encouraged to look through the dresses and the price points were quite reasonable compared to subsequenpt salons we visited.Pictures were encouraged, information regarding the dress we loved was willingly given and there was no pressure to purchase.Since this was our first stop we wanted to explore other possibilities. Ultimately, the perfect dress really was one we found at Barefoot Bride and we are returning to place our order.We found that in visits to other stores, high pressure tactics, snooty salespeople or ones unwilling to take the time to try varying styles, (wanting a picture or number of what we wanted which was to explore optuons)left us discouraged and were a complete waste of precious time. This, despite excellent reviews.We encountered disdain at what was a healthy budget, and one Philadelphia shop had soiled samples with material frayed or pulled, certainly not sending a message that their service would be acceptable should we purchase there!They continued to show dresses with exactly what we told them we did not want (strapless for example) Our two favorite shops, Barefoot Bride & another not too far distant, offered belts, adding straps, suggested tailoring and in general supported the vision we had expressed. From Barefoot Bride we learned that it was possible.to enhance the gowns to suit our style.We left feeling excited, so pleased and feeling that we would return.Definitely highly recommend this small but outstanding shop and staff. Only one other store compared favorably ..They too had excellent customer service, so important when making such an emotional and difficult purchase.Schedule an appointment here, check out their selection & experience the warm, attentive assistance that is exactly how shopping for a wedding gown should be!
