Were firefighters from Florida that came to help on the August Complex wildfires. We thought we had a catastrophic failure on our fire pump and were recommended to North Main Equipment. Mr.Bill and his son Dan came in at 6:00 in the morning and had us rolling out by 9:00 am. Dan diagnosed the issue quickly and honestly. Its not every day you find honest hard-working people that dont take advantage of someone in need. They have been in business for 51 years and you can tell that theyve built it on integrity and honesty. My only disappointment is that they dont have a shop in my town in Florida.

Bill and Dan are the best. It’s like a step back in time to walk into their shop. They not only know machinery, but don’t bs you. They do good good for the community and are humble about it. I love that there is still shops like this and drive from Redding to go there just for chains. If you are easily offended or a tire kicker don’t waste your time. These guys aren’t salesmen, and aren’t there to stroke egos. They work for a living and have for years. Check them out if you get a chance.

I didn’t get the opportunity to buy but I was given a replacement primer bulb for free. I searched online all day for the right one and wasn’t sure I would find it. The older man that works here found my replacement in 10 seconds. That’s enough for me to come back and give them my business!

I bought a used echo 280e top handle from the old man said there was nothing wrong with it except for the excessive bar oil leak paid 200.00 dollars for it my son who I bought it for used it around the house for about 30 mins then took it the next day to work with him while cutting with it the saw fell on it’s face and would not run right I feel they ripped me off so I never went back and probably never will

If you buy equipment from them, theyll service it for sure. Both our snapper Ride on mower and high powered weed eater have been purchased from them and maintained annually FOR YEARS. It was a good investment to buy locally. Good guys!

Good place to get your lawn mower serviced, but if you bring a weed eater in then they cant do it. Funny enough the guy who told me he doesnt work on weedeaters had one torn apart on his desk. Safe to say, Ill be learning to service my own equipment from now on. They must not need the business.

Im sure the other guys who work there are nice, there is one guy there that was so rude to me that I literally bit my tongue. I walked in to give them a part they needed for the lawnmower we are having them fix, and I asked for an estimate. This guy told me the other guy who knows is out of town. But I could take the part and the lawnmower and fix it myself. I said excuse me? What are you saying?! He then said, the other guy wont be back for two weeks and we will have to wait, or I can take my stuff and fix it myself. ( in case you were wondering, I only asked a general question, I wasnt rude or snide)I dont doubt that the other guy is nice, but the guy I talked to is a dick, and shouldnt be talking to customers.
