The staff we dealt with were very nice, helpful and friendly. Regarding the quality of the furniture, I would say it’s OK. Most other furniture stores completely lack any kind of quality furniture these days and that’s probably because that’s what everyone buys….the cheaper the better. If you want fine quality furniture you should find a skilled craftsmen and commission him/her to build you what you want.I’m rating this store only two stars because we purchased the stain guard protection for our purchased items. We had one incident and submitted a claim. The company, Guardian Protection, would not allow us to even open the claim because we were not in their system and referred us back to the store. I contacted the store and spoke to Darren. After explaining the situation Darren assured me he would get someone to resolve the issue and would have the contact us. We’re still waiting.I personally wouldn’t recommend purchasing such protection based on my limited experience with both companies. It didn’t seem like anyone was interested in providing the service the was already paid for.

All the sales staff I have dealt with were wonderful. The products are another thing!Bought a couch at Tukwila location 6 years ago and purchased the extended warranty. Right away upon delivery had multiple issues which then the warranty company would not cover because product came that way :(Tried for over a year to get help help with the management and always received the run around. Finally reached someone at corporate office and they said “no refunds” but gave store credit. Couch was garbage and sent to dump because I could not even donate it because they did not want broken furniture either, go figure :(Tried the Bellevue store 5 years later this last August 2020 and today ( April 2021 ) still awaiting the custom “30 day” order (which I was told due to COVID may be delayed.) Timing was not the problem initially, order came in and was completely wrong!Ordered two matching nightstands; One was not even close to the other, the one that matched what was ordered was made very off skew and out of alignment. Was called and told reordered stands came in but were damaged and would be reordered a second time. Then called again and told now it was the wrong stand. Still awaiting third reorder.Also had ordered custom upholstered bed which was sewn wonky with stuffing coming out seams and mismatched all together. We have bed but it looks like I sewed it myself. Parts of it were reordered but still have not been delivered because they wanted to wait and deliver bed with correct nightstands ( if that is even a possibility)We have been waiting ever since and now are not even receiving any response.We were so foolish to give them more of our money !!RUN PEOPLE, RUN!!!

Excellent selection. Great sales staff

Superb experience here. We went in even after we read the few negative reviews on here and we were pleasantly surprised. Dont let those reviews deter you. The sales people werent pushy but made sure we werent ignored when we had questions. Went through the whole design process easily and the woman who helped us, Mary, was fabulous and had really great input. She never pushed us to buy anything more than we needed and had great feedback on how we would arrange our room once our new furniture came. We ended up with just what we wanted and came out under budget. In fact, we had looked at a more expensive model and the store manager let us know there was a cheaper yet similar alternative which we really appreciated. Our sectional came in less time than we expected and was delivered promptly and expertly. Would absolutely use them again!!

Darren helped us pick out our couch after considering a hundred options. He worked with our budget and catered to all the details we wanted. We even ended up being there for over an hour and a half and we never felt rushed. He even went as far as to move a table from one side of the showroom to the other to let us see it with the couch we wanted. We left feeling very excited and pleased with our experience. We will be back to request Darren again.

Worse Customer Service after the purchase madeThis particular store pretend to be busy all the time. Everyone is nice before you make a purchase. As soon as the purchase has been made they refuse to contact and get to the phone and dodging you as much as you can even for loyal and frequent customers. Buyer be aware that this particular store dont stand behind their service and and the products and greedy to provide partial refund for defective products, etc. Buyer - make some effort to drive to another store in the area if you really need Basset furniture.* Manager: please DO NOT reply to my review because I know its just for you to check box and then dont care about it. When I called the store youve been busy all the time...Pretend you are busy for other buyers if there are any left at your store.

Bad Quality and customer service.BUYER BEWARE - check every detail of your delivered merchandises.We got two defective dining chairs in six. The back leg near the glide was cracked of one and split into TWO PIECES of another. The worst is the split part even attached with a exposed SCREW. It scratched my floor badly.Bassett insisted the screw is not from them and refused to repair the floor. They sent someone to replace the leg of ONLY the screwed chair, not both defective chairs. They even implied a lot of things could happened during our possession. You think Bassett should bemore responsible for their product/delivery/repair, but the fact is they dont care at all.It took us more than two months waiting for the delivery of the dining set we bought. Then spent almost SIX MONTHS patiently waiting for Bassett to take care of the problem caused by this dining set.Dont waste your time and go to other stores.

I think the furniture is beautiful but they dont stand behind their products, even with the added protection service. We spent quite a but for a solid wood table and with normal use the finish is already peeling off. The furniture protection plan denied our claim because they said I sent the wrong photos in my claim. Truly unhappy with our experience. Not worth it.

Dining room table set delivered incomplete. Damaged chair in shipping. Three additional chairs damage and or quality defects.Table top is different colored laminate strips do not match.Also shipping damage, shiny wear marks.Finally had to revisit the store to discuss with manager.Shipping manager lady is a BSer. Sorry, we just call em as we see em, or should I say hear em?

This store used to be very well run and a great place to shop. However now it has ZERO customer service and follow thru on sales.. Promised shipment and delivery in 6 to 10 days never happened. We have been trying for 8 days to get status store promises to check call back never hear back. call after 2 days and get oh let us check on that order and see and will call you back never hear. Finally cancelling order and will buy from another company after being a loyal Bassett customer. Also filed complaints with Bassett corporate.

Expensive furniture that didnt look quality upon entering. Was not welcomed or addressed by a sales associate the entire time. Looked pretty sparse to be honest. Left within ten minutes.

Love Bassett, just wish we could afford to do our whole house with their furnishings. If you need a one off piece, and are looking for something really substantial and with a lot of character and quality, go here. Expect to pay through the nose, but itll be worth it.

I have had on going issues with this store and the customer experience has been HORRIBLE. After you walk out the store, they will not own anything. Long story short, bought an ottoman from them along with many other pieces of furniture. Had the buttons come off from it within 6 months. Tried multiple times to reach them and they gave us the run around. The CSR works part time so you can imagine the type of after sales service standard. Had to call their corporate headquarter in Virginia for the local CSR to call back! Finally the tech came and said it cant be fixed and will be replaced. The replacement has the same problem of buttons falling apart. The product is substandard and the claim of using high quality materials is incorrect. Try staying away from this store!

This is not a reputable company.Weve had problems getting any service after the sale. We purchased a chair, sofa, and rug here.The rug has been treated several times, but puts off a smell that permeates our house. The company that we hired to clean it said it was from the use of poor-quality glue in the country of manufacture. Ive called Bassett several times to discuss, but never get a call back.

Okay, how can I say this without being mean... The staff was very pushy in trying to make a sale. They practically trying to force us to buy a couch because Oh la la, the sales is going to end TOMORROW! You have to buy it now or youll be paying an extra thousand dollars!. I mean, come on guys... We liked what we see but the pushing just didnt cut it.Overall, the quality, style and price of the couches that we saw werent great at all. We ended up choosing IKEA over these guys and that said a lot...

My wife S below commented on how basset doesnt stand by their product when our tables finish very evidently started feeling off. This was a fairly expensive set. That said I was surprised with how crappy this expensive table started looking w.in a year. We werent worried because of Bassetts protection plan and warranty we were sold on. After many calls to the third party warranty company (tarmo) whos customer service wasnt great we were told it was our problem. We called Bassett and essentially got the same thing. Darren the manager responded to my wifes thread about call us which we did four times and he never called us back. He did nothing except respond to this thread. We now found a phenomenal furniture warehouse with great quality, real wood, beautiful finishes in Everett who definitely stands behind their products.My point: you can get really nice, real wood furniture with beautiful finishes without worrying if its still going to look great in 6 months to a year out there... Real value.

The furniture might be good quality but the customer service is the opposite. i ordered a chair, was told it would be 4-5 weeks before delivery. They called 10 days later, leaving a message that my chair was in and ready to be delivered. When I called to set up the delivery, the young man I spoke with said oh thats impossible! Your chair cant be in - it takes 4-5 weeks. I tried to explain that I had already received a call from them but he was preoccupied and wasnt listening. After 6 weeks, when I didnt hear from them, I called and was informed that my chair had been there for over a month! Not very happy!

I have been a customer of Bassett Furniture for years now, and this location is no different than the rest. Friendly and helpful staff and, great selection of items.

Zero stars should be an option! One of the worst experiences by far. Spent over 6,000 in store and day of delivery had drivers drop transmission fluid all over new driveway and leave furniture on dolly in garage without taking piece upstairs for placement. Was basically told “not my job” and left. Dinning table damaged with repair tech unable to fix. Solution was to take our table and refinish weeks after delivery. If you want to be lied to repeadly and have managment ignore your attempts to communicate ~ this is the place for you! Darren (Manager) and Catherine (Assistant Mgr.) you should be ashamed of how you treat customers!

Spent over 30k with them, and most of the furniture has failed in under 5 years. Dont trust anything that the sales staff or corporate says.

They have a sale of 30% off till December 2nd. Lots of good quality there.

Worst furniture and the service. Ordered a dining table set, were told 4 weeks for delivery, arrived after 2 months with one of the chairs missing. Table top started peeling off after 2 weeks. Contacted the customer service and were told to contact the third party warranty company. Wouldnt accept refund. Look else where.

Stay away!They dont stand by their products. I spent $3,000 on a kitchen table set and One of the chairs was missing from the delivery and took extra month to be delivered.Not even into the first week, I found a spot on the table with paint peeling off...they say its water cup causing it.. ok... really? $3,000 table while $50 walmart table is ok? They wont do anything about it and their customer service is a joke anyone who works for this company should be ashamed of yourselves! Disgrace**oh, and please DO NOT reply to my review because I know its just a lip service and you dont care about it. Get lost!

Always friendly, competitive prices, and the sales people are the best. They have an incredible mattress department too. Tempurpedic, Stearns and Foster, and Sealy Posturpedic.

Drove forty minutes to this location, walked in, two guys were sitting at the desk. No greeting, no smile and no encounter throughout my tour of the store. There was water leaking which created a small puddle on the wood floor but based on their attitude during the visit I decided not to inform them and to politely excuse myself from this location. If I were a multi millionaire I do not believe I would have even considered making a purchase. I will continue to shop online.
