So far so good! Jim Steiner has been great to work with!We came in there with a limited budget, we weren’t sure we could even really afford to buy a home from them. Jim has been adjusting costs for us to get us the options we wanted, and remove a few things that we really didn’t need. I was really surprised how flexible they were on the pricing and options. They are also working with our contractor, and lender to make this a smooth process. Thank you very much for all the hard work you’ve done for us so far!Bill Hall

Neighbor bought a home from j&m homes, worst experience ever dont buy from these people they do as little as possible to help 😒.Sent out contractor 2 months after home was delivered and they were high and arrived at 5 pm to start did not notify anyone and were going to sleep in the house. If this is service after the sale no thank you. Believe the negative reviews they are the truth.

Very clean, people were very friendly. Lots of models to walk thru. Jim was very helpful in helping us with options to work with our budget. Made us feel like they were there to really help us find a home not just sell us something. Would definitely recommend.

In the market for a home, came across this place, I’m new to the area. And I saw the reviews on Google. Unfortunately there are a lot of low reviews. And when you’re dealing with a lot of money, I need someone who has a high rating and good rep based off customer experience (the entire process). So I’ll be taking my business else where.

Love the triple wide and other bigger doubles

I have never wrote a review before until my experience today and it has left me appalled. The man that was helping me (I believe it to be Jim Steiner) hung up on me and was very very rude and inconsiderate. For the last 6 months my husband and I have been shopping around multiple manufactured home companies and had a few questions for J&M, so I called today. He then asks me why we have been to other manufactured companies and I told him to see all of our options, and he says “Well I’m sorry I haven’t and can’t help you, bye” and hangs up. I can’t believe this! We were having some changes and definitely considering going through J&M Homes. Now with this kind of unprofessionalism and inconsideration we will be going else where. This is absolutely ridiculous!

Contacted them in late 2016 and was told I had to appmt for a loan. I advised I was a cash buyer and they basically blew me off. Th8s was a contact by phone. Twice bei g told to spy for a loan first. This contact was just to get an idea of timing and options where to put a home. I am certainly not an expert. They DO NOT help with that nor so they discuss that. Visited the lot more recently and couldnt get anyone to give me the time of day even with proof of funding in my purse. Ugh! Very few options here for dealers so...no manufactured for me.

Poor customer service, and after my home was delivered sent out a cleaning person that didnt clean alot of what needed and stole my cleaning suplies, and when it came to finish the outside paint they sent out people without my knowledge on a 35 degree weather and then they left without letting me know and i havent heard back from anyone. Bought a Golden West, dont buy one shoddy work.

They absolutely could not be bothered to show us a home. Wouldnt come off the front porch, I guess its pay first have questions later.

These people are the poorest homemakers on the planet! You would not believe the things that are wrong in our brand new home! Two different shades of carpet, cracked walls, cracks in the grout, our wood stove leaks, the list goes on & on & on and they ignore us over and over! Instead of fixing the problems, they totally ignore our requests and continue to brush us off. This is what we get for paying $100,000 cash!?!? I wish I had the time to stand outside of their facilities and warn people NOT TO BUY A HOME FROM THESE FRAUDS!

Everything that needed to be fixed was delayed. Three years later our friends are still waiting for theirs to be fixed.

Paid cash in beginning of June . Jim Steiner said it would get me to the front of the line for a 2 week build. Home got delivered in the second week of September. Sat there for 2 months nothing being done. Finally able tosee inside. Shower doors broke all over ruining floors. Still have damaged floors, no shower doors. Bottom of fiberglass shower damaged and not usuable. Half of electricity does not work. Shower slider i paid extra for still not installed. When i tried to ask Jim Steiner about a date whebn things would get done, he rudely told me off and told me to go back to Calif.My family fought in the Civil war. We came over on the Mayflower. My father has 3 honorable sischarges. From W W 2. Korean war and full time guard. My cousin got his leg blown uOff in Korea. Jim should go back to whatever country he came from.Every time i asked when i could move into my home, i got lied to from jason, the schedular, 2 weeks. Not. Two days. Not. Still living with damaged shower, half electrical not working and the necessary shower slider i need to wash with asi am disabled and cant get cleaned without it.Their contractor said i had the shower door to fix the shower. When i said i did not have the showerdoor, and why would i have the shower door, he insisted on searching every inch of myhousefor a shower door i supposedly was hiding from him. Sure glad he didnt search my underwear drawer.They should not sell homes that they haveno workers to set the home up and cannot fix damagedand missing items.Overall, it was a bad experience and i am still waiting at this Christmas timefor themto finish and fix my home.

Ya know. . I called this place a week ago to just find out what the prices are. . Ballpark estimate type stuff. . Anyways they refuse to even list prices or talk about them even after I stated I would be buying it CASH. . . So I relented and took some time out of my day and went down there. . What a complete waste of time. . Seriously. I met the manager and after a brief conversation where I told him I would be paying cash for all of my costs up front. . He still just said some bull about applying for a loan, etc etc. . And I said sir I dont like paying interest, its something I dont believe in doing he still came back at me with the well what ya need to do is just transfer to your job out here and apply for the loan. . I can see that Im just gonna have to walk in there with my bank statement and show him I have 45k cash saved and to show me some USED trailers. . Im absolutely sure that even when I do that they will try and get me to apply for a loan on a new trailer since thats all it seems like they want to sell, EVEN tho he has prices of used and new manufactured homes on his board.
