Wasted an attempt to come to this store while in the bay area. Google states he is open Mon-Sat 12-6pm. But we show up Monday at 1pm its closed. Call the store message says only open 4 days a week Wed-Sat 12-6pm. Sign on door in small print showing only open Saturday June and July 10-6? How do places like this stay in business? Wont be back.

Great that such stores still exist. Loco-Boose repairs Lionel Trains, and lots of other stuff, but I have Lionels from 50 years, now my sons, and they are still running.

Original owner (Lionel Authorized Shop #97) sold to Rhonda 30+/ years ago (Rhonda is the Tom-boy repair(wo)man and is damn good. She took Hals recent death extremely hard (Ive spent long stretches just letting her vent & process her emotions).Some of us just seem to be highly sensitive on losing a loved one. When she sits in the echoing empty shop, it seems harder on her; she needs to stay busy.I hope you understand, and I still let my fingers do the walking through the yellow pages or my eyes/fingers on the internet-telephone. Give her a chance, especially after Thanksgiving; youll be glad you did!
