Wish it could be a zero.... Ridiculous having to wait so long for safety glasses... Probably wont be coming back...
I had a corneal abrasion on my eye and was in pain and I called reidsville myeyedr .. where I am a patient and they told me they couldn’t see me and recommended another place so I called all the other myeyedrs around my area and they all claimed they had no doctor on site that day. One would say oh call this one I know they have a doc there today when they claimed they didn’t. I understand with the pandemic they are busy but I felt like something to do with your eye is an emergency. Especially when you are already visually impaired.
I love Dr. Cotter and would give him 5 stars... But the office staff not so much. I had an appointment scheduled several months in advance, called to verify my appointment and the lady who answered said I no longer had an appointment scheduled because their office was overwhelmed after reopening...I understand overwhelmed, my schedule is overwhelmed too... No one from the office bothered to call me to reschedule me they just mark me off the books... Im currently looking for a new eye doctor and will refer all of my clients and friends elsewhere.
They are very helpful and funny and very nice I love it there. Me and my kids are not going anywhere else
Went to my appt on November 25th to get my new glasses. Dr. Cotter was great. Here we are 3 weeks later and trying to locate my glasses. Called on Tuesday December 8th, she tells me they are not in and they would reach out when they came in. I called today Dec. 10th and the Office staff tells me they set to automatic delivery which canceled my order. So they just now are ordering my glasses saying it will take another week to get. Why wasnt I aware of this on Tuesday. Just poor communication skills and bad customer service for me. Will be finding a new eye doctor.
My visit was great! All staff members were courteous and very professional. Dr. Cotter was very thorough. I would Highly recommend them and yes they are My Eye Dr. Very well run and organized office.
EYE LIKED this place!! See what I did there? Haaaaa! Anyway...This was a very worthwhile trip to a Doctor. The whole staff was great, Doc Dolan was DANG NICE, thorough and informative...all HUGE pluses in my book. The sales team and that process of picking frames, etc... afterward wasnt half bad either. All in All...VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE! The only downside is getting an appointment. They are VERY busy so plan a month in advance.
Wonderful and very professional Dr. and all employees. Excellent varieties of frames ect. Offered to choose from. Extra helpful. Two thumbs up!!
Great practice. Very thorough and knowledgeable. Dr is very kind and helpful
Long story short-Dr. Cotter is wonderful. He takes time to talk to you and answer any of your questions. Lizette is also wonderful. She listens and is very informative.Long story long-I have been trying for over a year to get contacts that work. I was seen at a location hours away and they ordered trial contacts. I ended up moving and realized the contacts did not work out for me. The original location let me know that any doctor within MyEyeDr should be able to do a recheck on me so they called the Eden location. They were unorganized and didnt seem to know much. Ultimately, they said that their doctor would not be able to do a recheck on me. They asked that I call the Madison location to see if a doctor there could do the recheck. I called and they seemed a bit more organized but informed me that the doctor there wouldnt know how to do the recheck. Honestly, it would have been the same as if one of their patients ordered trial contacts and they didnt work so the doctor would just do a recheck. Im sure it would be a bit more difficult on someone that wasnt their original patient, but they could just read the patients chart. I was then referred to the Reidsville location and Dr. Cotter accepted to do a recheck on me. The second trial contacts seemed to work so I ordered contacts, but when they came in they ended up not fitting well. I called the office to see if there was anything that could be done and they told me that a manager would need to approve a recheck but they didnt have one so I would have to call another location and talk to that manager. I figured I wouldnt bother since Dr. Cotter was so nice to help me as much as he did. I was willing to take the loss of 400.00. A week ago I ended up going to the office to get glasses so I can see somehow. Lizette was asking me questions and we ended up talking about my contacts situation. She went out of her way to talk to Dr. Cotter and he agreed to see me again. Its been a year since my initial visit and I am still in the process of getting the right prescription. Its been stressful, but I am grateful that both Lizette and Dr. Cotter are helping me through this.
The office staff seems to be completely incompetent. I was notified of an issue with insurance the day before my childrens appointments. I called the office to find out more information and told the receptionist that I will call to get the insurance straightened out and call back to confirm the issue was fixed. I called the day of the appointments once I had finally received an answer from insurance. The receptionist had cancelled the appointments that I had made over 6 weeks in advance. I guess I will be finding a new eye dr.
Ive recommended my husband to MyEyeDr, they are professional and great environment. My husband got his glasses and says I can really see now. The Doctors at MyEyeDr are the upmost best in knowledge and bedside manners. Makes you feel comfortable and explain everything as they go along. Thank you all!!!
I scheduled my routine eye exam with this office based on recommendation from my husband. Upon arrival, I was promptly greeted, and checked in. Then I only waited about 3-4 minutes before Lizzet called me back. She was very professional and efficient, but took the time to be friendly and personable as well. She did everything to prepare for Dr Cotters exam. I waited less than a minute for him, and he showed me my retinal scans and did the actual adjustments to find the correct prescription for my first glasses. He has a great sense of humor, but is also very informative and efficient. I needed glasses for the first time. I expected to ask for my prescription to purchse the glasses at a discount place in Greensboro. However, Sandy, the optician, explained what my costs would be upfront, and helped me find the perfect pair. She made good recommendations and didnt try to oversell me something I dont need. Within a very short time, she had the glasses I really liked ordered.I have been through the eye exams and gard-sells with a family member, and never had such an overall positive experience throughout the entire process. This office is clean, comfortable, and everyone who helped me was over and above my expectations. I gladly recommend this practice to everyone! Thank you for being friendly, affordable, knowledgeable and professional.
