This store was the greatest find. My dog is getting older. Almost 12 years old. She has been having hip issues. It’s been hard for her to get up when she’s laying down and also has little energy. I heard the steamery sold CBD products. I met the owner, who is so knowledgeable about CBD. I followed his recommendation and have been using CBD on my dog for the past 4 weeks. After the first week we noticed her mood was so much better. All of a sudden she would jump up when I got home from work. Now she’s wanting to go outside and throw the ball again. I’ve bought my vape products here for the better part of a decade. If I could choose two things to praise them for, it’d be their great selection of products and their very kind & personable employees. But as a nurse, I can’t in good faith continue to bite my tongue and patronize them.I’ve heard this establishment spew misinformation for so long now—mostly in the form of employees advocating for customers to discontinue prescribed medications in favor of CBD… I’ve literally heard them tell a diabetic woman over the phone that if she takes CBD, she probably won’t need insulin anymore.But today really took the cake, when I overheard the owner himself go on a very professional-sounding spiel about restless leg syndrome being caused by “nerve spasms” and that the cure is his mushrooms. This is false. He went on to say that CBD will *cure* anxiety, depression, PTSD, and arthritis. When the customer prompted that she wants to consult with her doctor before trying these products, *he told her that she shouldn’t trust her doctor.*I was astounded to hear such misinformation from someone who has zero medical training and zero licensing. This isn’t just clownish, it’s dangerous.I have no problems with advocating for CBD and other holistic products (recreational or otherwise), but pretending to speak with authority in saying that these products are a legitimate replacement (not just adjunct) for prescribed pharmaceuticals AND that licensed professionals who may indicate otherwise aren’t to be trusted—I’m disgusted. This store is going to kill someone if they haven’t already.Please please please do not take medical advice from a store that sells nicotine and delta-8 (which is, in some cases, even more psychoactive than THC and will make you fail a drug test).These are snake oil salesmen and the vast majority of their products can be found online, for way cheaper. My household will no longer be shopping there, and I’ll be pursuing any means I can to have them reported to proper authorities.It’s one thing to sell products, it’s another to roleplay as health care providers.

BEST decision EVER, normally I try to find somewhere close to home.(not many options for CBD products) but when I walked into The Steamery I was amazed by how many more health benefits they carry a definite must see. I have known Mark Raab (owner of Steamery) for about 42 years. I am now 48 years of age and have been suffering from some serious health problems. Some of them being high blood pressure, joint pain and sleep issues. I was tired of constantly taking new prescriptions from doctors that have horrible side effects. I visited The Steamery CBD and Wellness shop in Reisterstown on Saturday after getting a pedicure next door. I had never been in before and felt shy about asking what everything was. I was just passing the time. Mark was extremely helpful and provided a very insightful overview of the products and benefits and how CBD oils work. I appreciate his care and passion to guide people towards wellness. Cameron helped me select a diffuser and essential oils. In less than a week of taking the recommended dosages of CBD oil Mark put in my plan, I have seen dramatic decreases in my blood sugar numbers (normally 200-300s down to 100s and even 88 today!!) and I have had improved sleep and less anxiety. I even feel surprisingly light-hearted and giddy about life. I have been extremely skeptical in the past about CBD oils, however I am extremely happy with my results so far and I look forward to continuing my journey to be healthy, happy and diabetes free! Moved from Michigan to Maryland a while back used Medical marijuana for years, but ran into over priced Dispensaries fast. Have been using cbn pen for sleep issues for 3 months now. Had trouble getting to sleep. Now with 4 puffs on vape pen I am asleep in 15 minutes. Great product. Great store and great service. Go see them soon. I am more rested and have good dreams after using this pen.

I have been wanting to try CBD for a while now, but wasn’t sure if the products I was reviewing were any good. I didn’t want anything with THC and they assured me of the quality items they sell. I was absolutely blown away by the amount of knowledge the owner of the Steamery has on all the products as well as the Endocabbinoid system. He not only made sure I got exactly what I needed for my situation, he keeps in contact to ensure it’s working for me. They are excellent at communicating and if you have a question, will take the time to respond thoroughly. You never feel like a “customer”. I feel like it’s personalized for my needs and can’t imagine going anywhere else to get the CBD oil.

Although a nicely set up shop apparently they cant afford to do good business and offer samples of all their flavors instead they tell you to smell them like you can taste through your nose!? The employee was very arrogant and not easy to deal with and had really poor knowledge of what they were selling. Most shops let you sample everything making it much easier for the sale. I wont be going back to this shop and recommend trying somewhere else before you waste the gas to go here.
