Bad bad business. When I called in March and left Nate a message inquiring about a shower door he called right back and made it sound so simple. He showed up a couple days later and took his measurements. He said he would be back in about 3 weeks to install. He never did give me a bid/estimate and after a month went by I called to check in with him. No answer so I left a message. I started calling once a week and never heard back. After 2 months went by and I was getting grief from my customer for an unfinished job I started calling every day. One day out of the blue he actually called back and acted like nothing had ever happened. He spit out a bunch of excuses and said he would get back to me tomorrow. I never heard from him and gave up. I’m an upfront person and don’t understand people that aren’t. Don’t use Nate unless you DONT want a shower door.
Be warned, I had an experience similar to Daina Middleton. Nate began the process of measuring for our custom shower doors in March 2019 and we thought he was the nicest guy on the planet. It took a while for us to get a final quote but we received it in June and were pleased and ready to move forward. He became increasingly difficult to get in touch with so in order to talk to him, we would have to drive an hour and just show up at his shop and even offered to write a check for the full amount to ensure we were on his schedule. He assured us that the materials were ordered/received and that he was going to install on a Thursday or Friday, specifically after a Garth Brooks concert in late July 2019.On July 26, I simply received a text saying he was not going to make it but that he would give me a call. He never called. Months went by and we could not get Nate to return a message. In early October, I made the hour drive once again and finally spoke to a neighboring business owner who had indicated that he was probably on a new job site in Rexburg. I stopped by the job site and though Nate was not there, I spoke with a super kind Project Manager and shared the story of Nate not getting back to us and he offered to talk to Nate as he agreed that he should at least let us know one way other another so we could move on.On Oct 14, Nate finally sent a text letting us know that he was not going to do our shower doors. Not only did he string us along for seven months, he had indicated to the Project Manager that he did not have our materials which means he lied to our faces. To say he is unprofessional and unreliable is an understatement. There are plenty of other glass suppliers in Eastern Idaho who are willing to travel and communicate professionally, I wish I had realized that earlier in the process. In the end Cherry Glass, out of Idaho Falls, installed our shower doors beautifully and were a delight to work with.
Amazing work and reasonably priced! They have a wealth of knowledge and are a great asset in planning projects. I use Shower Doors Unlimited for all my glass needs.
They showed up on time and did a very professional job installing a new glass shower door that I purchased from Home Depot. Highly recommend them!!😎
Was very prompt initially. Had to prod to get an estimate. Finally got it and wanted to make changes. Called, texted, left messages. Never heard from them again.
Result is always awesome. 1st class workmanship.
They do a great job!
Shower doors. Glass. Mirrors. They do it all.
