A good store to shop. All UTD items are here so you can grab. Only issue is that all items are very expensive so can surely make a dent to your pocket. This is a university and maximum of all students buy from here.if the rates are very costly, student will not be able to buy what they like. For example, I liked 1 tshirt but it was 25$. Its hard to buy a 25 bucks tshirt so may be a good thing they can do is, they can provide atleast some discount to all products. I Believe part from costly items, university is doing very good. I am literally very lucky and happy to part of university of Texas at Dallas. It was really a very good university and I appreciate this college. I hope many other students also choose this university for their academic career and best of luck to everyone.
Nice typical university bookstore. Expensive. Helpful and friendly staff.
The first and second floors are always a bit crowded but the overall environment is okay. I recommend checking if the library has your needed course book before buying it.
Pretty nice book store. My only complaint was they didnt have a very good selection of t-shirts in my size. I wont reveal my size, but Im not a med or sm. Lol.
Great bookstore with ample school items, clothing and accessories, including athletic gear for fans. It is very clean, organized and modern with a large showroom.
Nice campus bookstore. Typical. Expensive. Helpful staff.
Got a few things for a highschool graduate attending UTD next year, good prices and good service.
Absolutely great place to shop.
Graduates gounds $300.00 to rent $1,000. To buy too much, cheers
Great collection of UTD clothing
Very helpful for students. Specially the FedEx service and the counter lady.
Holy cow this campus has changed since I graduated 11 years ago! Went in to get a T-shirt and cap for my son for college day and the cashier was very helpful and quick to point to the youth clothing section and check me out. Really big and spacious store compared to the one that used to be next to the tennis courts.
The organization of this place is great but the main issue is the price. The books here cost much higher than off campus bookstore or Amazon, so I recommend looking for books here, but its been 2 years, they always have higher prices than normal bookstores.
Nice staff and organized bookstore, nice place to come and blow $300 on a book.
Really stocked and loved it.
With textbooks, this bookstore is slightly overpriced compared to nearby competitors, so minus 2 stars for that as that’s what the target customers usually purchase at this particular retail store. Spirit wear merchandise is of fairly good quality, and is priced correctly at the price point. Three of the five stars are for the quality customer service offered by the staff (who most often are students of the university and have to work crazy schedules aside from managing their student careers).
The family loved it
Usual high prices, I mean its college what do you expect, they will match amazon sellers online. You also have two days to return. I recommend buying from amazon since you will have about 30 days to return plus Amazon prime is super fast and amazing.
It was A really fun place to visit, and seemed to me to be well stocked to support the kids attending UTD. Friendly staff and reasonable prices, what you hope your student always finds in life.
I have to be honest, Ive only been here a couple of times, but when I was there the staff was friendly and helpful. Some of the merchandise seems a little overpriced. There are a lot of products for students to choose from; essentially, its a one-stop shop.
Placed a reservation online for a used rental textbook that they actually didnt have stock of (not sure why there would be an option to order if that were the case) and was told there was an inventory mixup through some verbal gymnastics by the staff. That was about a week later. They told me to check back in in about 10 days. Later that day I got a voicemail from someone at the store asking me to call back, so I stopped by again and a manager had no idea of the situation nor could offer me any help.So 10 days later I came back and again asked about the book. They tried to sell me a brand new book for 150 when the reservation for a used rental was 75. I declined and got the response, oh, well I could understand why if thats a bit much. Well Im glad you understand 1st grade economics as well as I do.So another employee interjected that since they are used books, there isnt a steady supply of them, its market dependent. This seemed like an underhanded condescending remark. Obviously Im aware of that but Ive been practically led to believe up until this point that there IS a book out there thats on its way, but now Im being told theyre on backorder and Im having to pull teeth to find the answers I need. I asked, If you dont have a book on the way at this point, 2 weeks into the semester, I would like to cancel my order. So they told me to respond to my order confirmation email saying I wanted to cancel. I got an automated response thanking me for my question. Well see what happens, but if I ever get charged Im disputing it.
Well stocked
I stopped by to pick up some UT Dallas pride shirts to wear abroad this month. The new UTD logo is butt ugly and indecipherable. the 50 whatever is also. I am shocked that I was unable to find a polo style shirt with a small university of Texas at Dallas spelled out with state shape logo. not one. certainly nothing for women. As the event Im attending will be covered by International press, I wanted to proudly represent the university as an ADULT student. Nothing, sadly was available. I located merely a declasse t shirt.
These people are honestly horrifying. They overcharge for practically everything. If you were in an emergency and needed something for class, than sure you can use them. Otherwise there is no reason to be there. Almost anything you need for UTD classes can be found here including textbooks, stationary, lab equipment, diploma frames, etc. However it is all overpriced and you should try off campus bookstore or an online retailer first if you have time.
Price match is good, good book availability, polite staff, quick service 👍👍👍
Chelse was extremely rude and condescending. I understand this is a campus bookstore, but the associates working should still be expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner and treat paying customers respectfully. Chelse did not.
This is a good place to find all the things you need from University merchandise to stationery and cosmetics. But it tends to be a little more expensive than a regular retail store, so go here only if you absolutely need something.
High prices but a pretty good place to get school supplies and snacks
Its a good and convenient store, though a little expensive.
They are usually pretty helpfull and they have everything you could need while at college the only reservation I have is the prices are a high
Bought cap n gown in bookstore. Did not have to order on line. Thats a good thing.
Lots of things but staff is hit or miss
The staff are always really nice.
Short lines, always fairly quiet which I like, and the staff are very kind and helpful.
Couldnt sell me a gift card because I didnt have a comet card ?, but my manager was able to get one without it, where does it say you have to pay with comet card ? LOL I dont see a sign .
Dont order any apparel/gifts online! The order will be cancelled a few days later because the online store doesnt have the inventory updated. Ive probably put in 10+ orders and have only ever had 1 actually go through.
Reasonable prices (for regular books at least), helpful service, quick-moving line.
Really convenient bookstore with everything you need for classes.
Great service, quick and simple to get the book I needed for class. They were prepared and had plenty in stock.
Its fine. What more do you need in a book store?
One star isn’t even suitable for this place. Manager and staff don’t know how to handle ANYTHING.
Nice ambience with pretty good deal of items.Staff is courteous
The UTD bookstore does not sell reading lights...for books. Am I an old granny?
Kind staff, quick response for phone calls, good for online store pickup, basic items like notebooks and Pencils are a little expensive
Excellent place to buy souvenirs and stuff for school!
You can buy textbook here or they can buy back textbook as well. There are lots of University of Texas at Dallas products like t-shirts, mugs, folders, and anything you can find on college shop.
Prices are not great. But sometimes a book cant be found anywhere else, so its convenient.
In an emergency you can get a scantron, but be mindful you are paying extra. Always check your prices elsewhere when getting books. If you have online homework, see if you can get it bundled with the eBook from the publisher.
Good variety but pricey as expected
Very expensive and overpriced but convenient.
All the books are in the back, but good prices.
Get a UTD memory from here if youre graduating :P
Quick service, good layout, and friendly, helpful staff.
I went for graduation it has big parking
They do not accept returns on malfunctioning electronics. Do not get tech items from here.
Overpriced af but good to have in an emergency
Pretty nice except the return deal is evil for textbooks - no return once there has been one week of classescorrection - they will let you refund your textbook if you dropped the class and you bring your dropped class slip
Good options for books and appeal
Slightly overpriced. Bad lines in the beginning of the year
Friendly staff. Althugh most items are pricey.
Everything is overpriced. The extra star is because the books are labeled with the professors course and name.
Good customer service, yet highly overpriced and limited in supply.
All the textbooks are way overpriced, My economics textbook was $20 on Amazon and around a $100 at the bookstore, and the apparel is cheaper at off campus and local stores.
Go place for UTD students for text books, stationary and university merchandise.
It has the books I need.
Has a lot of UT Dallas related items and textbooks.
They have EVERYTHING!
Finding a parking is too difficult.
Expensive stuff but good
Generally very overpriced.
Its very costly
Easy to access
Awesome BookStore!!!
Good school books over priced
Expensive, over priced
Not bad
Great
High prices
Whoosh!😎
Open Saturday from 10:00 to 3:00
Regular campus bookstore
Best University in Texas
Overpriced and slow
Pricey
5 years ago my 2 children arrived at UTD and now 2020 UTF graduates
