We love Einstein Bros. The lox and bagel was excellent. My husband got a turkey and cheese on a plain bagel. We sat outside in front of Einstein. We had a wonderful lunch.

Really friendly service. Personable. Make you feel welcome. They did miss one bagel, so I couldnt go 5 stars, but they were really busy, and I had a big order 🤷

I do not get Einstein Bagels very often, but when I do, I am reminded why I go elsewhere. Today at 9:30 am, I was one of two people there. I was not acknowledged really at all. I wasn’t even sure the young lady was talking to me. I ordered and curtly asked if I wanted it toasted & to pay over there.The young man who I paid said three things to me, the the total, insert your card, & receipt? I was handed my bagel by the young lady, I said thank you, she just walked away.I don’t expect much, really just common courtesy which was completely lacking.I hope the bagel is good.

Great place for fresh bagels. Always friendly staff (and Mark the manager) who get the orders right. They have been great through COVID.

This location is great - always very clean and welcoming staff. The food is delicious and I never wait more than 5 minutes to be served.

Staff here is great. Bagels are awesome. Only 4 star is due to their new hours. We start work at 6am (Im in office around 530am), I used to be able to grab a bagel prior to 6am.

Bought 7 Baker dozen with 2 hour notice..all were perfect and the cream cheese is also Best anywhere! Really good service and staff. They do were masks and social distance. Although they were pretty busy..they were fully ready and quick service!. We drove over 2 hours each way and it was WELL worth it..wish an Einstein bagels would come to Mount Vernon Illinois.

Staff was rude and the service was extremely slow. I actually for a second thought I got the wrong sandwich because of how sloppy it was put together. I typically eat and then grab catering for 40-50 people. After eating my breakfast, I decided to go grab my catering someone else. Also this place still does not offer dine-in like some of the others.

I placed an order using my birthday reward (a free sandwich with any purchase) through the app today, and I was expecting two sandwiches (including the free one) for my order, but on the way home, we realized only the sandwich that we paid was in the bag. We went back to the store and tried to sort things out. It turned out that I didnt use the reward correctly, so it didnt get redeemed. I thought the reward description was very confusing, and I got very frustrated with the whole situation since I had to make another purchase in order to redeem the reward. However, the employee kept his cool, and while he was suggesting me to purchase something cheap like a cookie in order to get the free sandwich, a kind elderly gentleman handed me a piece of the pre-packaged cookies! That just made me smiled. I felt so sorry for the employee who had to deal with my attitude, and an act of kindness can really change the situation. :)

I ordered a Avocado Bagel last Monday. There was not enough Avocado that covered the Bagel, and also was kinda slimy, the bagel itself didnt have a good consistency.

The service is good.One person takes the order.One person prepares your bagel/sandwich.One person does your drink.One person rings up the bill.Just note that if you find any one person doing 2 or 3 at the same time your order will be delayed. This is especially true when they get crowded.Otherwise the bagel varieties are good. The sandwiches are better than Panera. I tend to skip the coffee because who buys coffee at a bagel place? Decent seating area.Its worth a visit or 3.

Went here to have a typical quick lunch. Usually I always have a good experience at any Einstein’s but this particular location I have to give 3 stars.I asked for a sandwich with cheese. I noticed it wasn’t on the sandwich when I got my order. I waited patiently as the workers were working. One of the employees asked another what I wanted she said “I have no idea why she is standing there or what she wants” in a rude tone. I informed the other one that my sandwich comes with cheese. If your going to work in customer service you need to have professionalism.

Horrible customer service. The bagel people were great, but the drink maker was clueless and rude. We ordered the Holiday drink and we watched as she made it. One shot for one drink missed the cup completely. She steamed the milk then left it sitting to separate. She didnt put the whipped cream and toppings on. She handed us the drink and we asked about the toppings and she huffed and rolled her eyes at us. She ran out of whipped cream and had to go back to make some, meanwhile our drinks were sitting there getting cold. We asked for the manager and tried to tell him why we didnt want the drinks anymore and he tried to cut me off twice and asked if we wanted a refund. We got our refund. As we were walking out the girl had just finished our drinks... never again...

This was considered lightly toasted...

Great food & especially the everything bagels. Get the salmon spread!!! Clean store, friendly help & fresh bagels. Only complaint is it seems that every year they, the bagels, get smaller & smaller. 😢

I had something come up which prevented me from picking up my catering order, and the manager, Mark, was super cool about it and helped me resolve the issue in a way that benefited both of us. Definitely would recommend.

The older gent with the goatee is always extremely nice and seems to be a great mood. Service is always friendly and quick.

We love doing breakfast or brunch here and enjoy chatting with the staff--they are all very kind and happy. The manager of this location is really friendly and sets the tone for all the great people who work here.

Service fail. Only about five customers dining in. I was 3/3 in line to order. Waited no less than fifteen minutes while nobody in line was even acknowledged during that time. Finally gave up and walked out but no worries because the menu sucked anyway.

Breakfast here is great. Mark the manager is fantastic and really brightens your day, especially on Monday when 13 bagels are $6 and cream cheese tubs are $2.99. Much improved atmosphere over what it used to be.

My experience along w/my 11-yr old grandson was fantastic, we arrived 30-mins late for the 1pm showing hung around for the 3:50p show, didnt leave for fear wed miss the very beginning. I rarely leave bad reviews... I try to give places the benefit of the doubt that maybe it was an off day for them. For this Einstein’s location though, it’s terrible every single time I come in. Finally this morning after 20 minutes waiting for a bagel and a drink I am writing a review hoping that the owner reads these and decides to staff the store appropriately in the morning. One person is not enough. (Usually it’s just one person) sometimes there might be two people and that’s still not enough. Unfortunately I keep coming back bc it’s so close to where I live and I like their bagels...

Terrible and slow service

I attempting to order an almost $170 catering/delivery order almost 48 hrs in advance and they canceled it the day before. I order thousands of dollars a month in catering and I will probably not us this company again. I don’t understand why they couldn’t have gotten a delivery service or paid someone to deliver it.They may be ok if you order in store but be VERY wary if you look to order anything over $50 because they may not be able to handle it.I am writing this to make the owners aware that they are turning big orders away like this.

Went there on 7-6-14 and there were 4 workers and only 2 other small groups of people eating. Of the 20 or so tables that were there almost half werent wiped off of crumbs and food from previous customers, all 3 trash can were over filled and 4 employees standing around talking the entire time we ate there. Food was OK but appearance and cleanliness was definitely lacking.

Have been going to the Einsteins in the CWE, but they always close early and never have a selection of bagels. So we have switched to your location, employees are wonderful, you are always open the hours stated on your website and always have a good selection. Thank you!

I love Einstein’s but this one is consistently the pits. Poor, slow. And rude service. How hard is it to smile and be polite. Was going to Protzels but it was closed so made mistake of going back.

Got our order totally wrong which we didnt realize until we got home. Coffee staff acted like we were a total inconvenience to her. Slow service. This store is a total disaster. Not sure Id ever go back.

Didnt eat there. But wish I had. Ate at Boston market next door. Food has been cold Everytime at Boston market that we have ate there. Said something about ice cold cornbread. Worker told me that is how they get it. So I guess they dont take it in store. Trying Einstein Bros. Next time for sure.

This is my favorite place to get bagels, and especially bagel sandwiches. They have a very nice variety of flavors.

Coffee is really not good, but nice bagel and sandwich selection. Lox bagel is solid. They also do bagel thins if trying to keep y be carbs down.

I dont know why I keep coming back to this particular location. Very dirty. Trash on the floor, trash cans filled to the top, drink station full of drips of coffee. Employees were on their phones & joking around with each other the whole time. Will not return.

Consistently mediocre service, often doesnt have items on the menu, often undercooks the bagels, which come out too pale. The only reason to get bagels here is that theres no better option nearby.

This is a place I like to go during the lunch rush because its not busy, but unfortunately the crew is very slow. I go here just to get something a little different because I work in the area.
