Ok, first Google review Ive written, but I had to share. I LOVE Ruth. Ive been going to kiss and make up for five years now. I have a hard to find and hard to fit size. Not only does she make me feel comfortable and happy during fittings, she is really, REALLY good at what she does. She knows how to fit you for a bra and and carries an incredible range of sizes in gorgeous colors and designs. You will leave there feeling like a million bucks. Ive recommended kiss and make up to many friends over the years and they all agree she is the BEST. The bras are not cheap, but they LAST and feel glorious. It is some of the best money youll ever spend.

I was recommended Kiss and Make Up by a coworker after she hear me complaining about how many bras I had tried on and returned trying to find the right size. I went to Kiss and Make Up as a walk in (although I now see that you can schedule your bra fitting for an appointment). Ruth was absolutely exceptional in every way! She fit me properly, and I found out that the fitting that I had from other stores were dramatically wrong. No wonder I was never comfortable before. I felt like I was at a boutique with her running and gathering a variety of bras and swimsuits, and then assessing the fit and comfort with me. I LOVE the new bras that I bought, and feel so much more confident and comfortable when I wear them. The prices are very fair, considering how much attention she gives you while you are in her store to make sure that you leave with the best bras possible. Ruth also keeps a little notecard on all of her customers, writing down which bras they liked, which ones they bought, and which ones are on their wish list. I called a month after my first visit to her store, trying to buy a bra that I had tried on, but didnt buy. I couldnt remember the fit or size, but Ruth pulled out her notecard and helped me order the bra over the phone. Ruth is sweet, fun, and professional and really cares about you. I highly recommend, and am never buying a bra from anywhere else!

Ruth is the very best! She makes you feel so comfortable trying on intimate apparel, and bathing suits. Shes able to accommodate a very wide range of sizes and makes adjustments once they are on you to make them fit just right. I look so much better in my clothes after getting my bras from her. My mother and a few friends drive 2.5 hours just to see her. While I love shopping online, there is absolutely no substitute for the quality service and brands that you will receive at Kiss and Make-Up.

This rating is long overdue. I began to visit Kiss & Make Up approximately 8 years ago because I was told that they had excellent bras for women with large busts. I was referred by a coworker after Catherines could no longer accommodate me due to my increase in bra size. My experience was amazing. The salesperson looked at me and before measuring me told me my size. Then she measured me and was 100% accurate. She was friendly and professional. And she knew her stuff. I have visited her shop since then and I feel no need to shop anywhere else for my bras. I give an A+ rating.

After experiencing department store fittings, I thought I was wearing the correct size. Boy, was I wrong! Ruth had me in the correct bra at once. A properly fitted bra is the foundation for looking good in your clothes and Ruth knows how to make that happen. She has also helped me with lingerie purchases. I used to have a VERY hard time finding a bra that fit. Everyone claims to do bra fittings but I never got good results from the fittings I had (even from the chain stores that claimed they had the Secret). Then, one day I walked into Kiss & Make-Up and Ruth took one look at me, made an educated guess as to what size I would be. She gave me a good fitting and an education about bras. I love buying from Kiss & Make-Up! The first time I visited Ruths store, I was immediately fitted for THE RIGHT SIZE. I really thought I was wearing a good size, but it turns out I just didnt know what I was missing. Ruth was attentive and made me feel important and that she was sincerely interested in helping me. I have also gone in for a corset and nighty. Ruth was patient with me as I wandered her store, taking my time. After I found some items to try on, she continued to hand me other items I had overlooked (and loved!). Corsets are notoriously difficult to try on and can be frustrating. Ruth was beyond helpful with the fitting and I was so pleased with her selection and prices (more affordable than you might think for a boutique). I will absolutely continue to shop at Ruths store and tell my friends to do the same!

I first went to Kiss & Make-Up with friends looking for a Halloween costume. Ruth immediately got excited for us to come back for bra fittings, because of our bra size. I came back and Ruth fitted me perfectly, and took her time doing so. The bras were not super expensive, despite the large size. Since then, I only go to Ruth for my bras. She always remembers me, and makes conversation. You can tell she loves what she does. On occasion her mother is in the store and is the sweetest lady. I havent bought anything else from Kiss & Make-Up, but the service and quality alone will keep me coming back for bras if for no other reason.

In the past I have always had difficulty with sizing, style etc on the type of bra that best fits my body. With Ruth McMahons help and guidance this is not a problem. Right before my honeymoon, Ruth spent lots of time to fit me for a bra and find styles that were both pretty and comfortable for two weeks cruising around the Mediterranean. I happily walked out with two new bras. However, when I wore one of them for the first time (on the eight-hour plane trip home), it wasnt as comfortable as it was in the store. If this had been any other store, I couldve kissed my $60+ goodbye because I had worn the bra and even discarded the tags. But I found out that Kiss & Makeup isnt any lingerie store. Ruth would rather her customers be happy than quibble over a tag. She invited me back in the store to try on different styles--no attitude or hassles--and I found a bra that I literally could sleep in (if I wanted to)! That fabulous customer service earned her a loyal customer and I have vowed to never buy cheap dept. store bras again.

For my whole life, I have had the hardest time finding a bra that fits. Bra shopping was a negative experience that often left me in tears for frustration with my odd body type. I am so glad that I found Ruth and Kiss and Make Up! She made me feel at ease, and like my size (which ended up being a 30F) was nothing strange at all! Most importantly, I have bras that fit for the first time in 27 years - I can even wear a strapless bra! Something I had written off years ago. I have been a customer of Kiss & Make-Ups since about 2008, my mom took me in to get fitted for a bra because I was having so much trouble finding ones that fit me really well. I just recently went in there to get a Halloween costume for this past Halloween and she guessed my size right off the bat as well as told me I was in the wrong size bra, just by looking at me! I now live out of state but make Kiss & Make-Up a mandatory visit every time I am back in RVA because I am not able to find anyone in NM to match the service & selection I have received here over the past 6 years. Kiss & Make-Up is the ONLY place to go for bra fitting! Ruth is fun, fantastic, and makes each person feel beautiful and proud of their appearance regardless of size. It is a great location for hard to find sizes, and offers a fantastic variety, including undergarments for nursing moms!

Ive actually been going to Kiss & Make-Up since I was 15 years old (mom took me there for Halloween costumes since I was so small) and Ive been going there ever since! Ruth is incredibly knowledgeable. For the longest time I was wearing the incorrect bra size, until she noticed it. I cannot express how much better I feel wearing the correct size! My most recent shopping adventure was a few weeks ago, looking for a modest, yet cute, corset to wear out. She knew exactly what I was looking for. This place blows Victoria’s Secret out of the water.
