We were traveling from New Hampshire to North Carolina and had an exhaust system failure in New York. Did a search for a repair shop and found JJ Automotive and even though they didnt really have the time in their schedule, AJ told me to come in and they would take a look at the problem.Two and half hours later we were back on the road.The rates are very reasonable and they were very respectful and upfront with us about the work being done.We are beyond pleased at happening upon this friendly and professionally operated shop..

Rented uhaul truck from them. They’ve charged me extra for dollies and furniture pads that I requested to be provided but were not provided. Afterwards they ignored all my emails about wrong bill.Do not recommend.

Best auto repair shop in the Bergen County

These reviews are not consistent. I made a reservation on Uhaul.com for a 15 foot truck. I called JJ automotive today to confirm they got my reservation but they claimed to not have my reservation, even though I gave the number of the reservation. I asked them why they dont have any trucks if theyre listed on Uhaul, and they didnt give any response. Not only that, when I asked further on why they were not honoring the reservation, the man just hung up. Zero stars.

2013 kia soul. went two weeks ago because my check engine light came on. they plugged the thing in and showed me it was a cylinder 4 misfire, they recommended to change the ignition coil, picked it up 2 days later and the bill was 126. amazing experience and like the other reviews have said, they dont rip you off.

Hands down the BEST shop there is!!I have over 10 years of experience as an auto mechanic but I prefer not to work on my own cars.After moving to this area I discovered JJ by a member of my church who spoke VERY highly about this shop. I learned that they service the entire fleet of our church’s vans and I became familiar and impressed with their work.In addition to their fantastic quality of work, my wife and I are in awe of the customer service at JJ. AJ and Peter are heroes in our house! The personal attention and extra they mile they go makes such a difference! I don’t know of another shop that provides the quality of work and the customer service like JJ!We use a 2000 Nissan Frontier for overlanding, often finding ourselves alone in the middle of nowhere with no cell signal, far away from home for very long periods of time. We depend on our truck to get us out of any situation and get us home. It is an old truck and it is constantly subjected to very grueling conditions. We put all our trust in JJ to make sure our truck is always at 100%. We are so happy to have found JJ!

I dont know how much the estimate will come out.I just opened the lid and just touched it, and then it took hundreds of dollars, and I only heard that I would repeat it indefinitely until the engine came back.

I had been to this place rumored to be honest, but I decided not to go anymore. After finishing the maintenance, when you come to the house and watch the car, the lid and the cover where you finished the maintenance are not closed well but are closed loosely and the money is paid on the hire. Its disappointing.
