Stop and Shop has recently added on line shop and curbside pick up service. I cant say enough good things about how well this service has been rolled out. The on line app is easy to use and I am able to find the products Im looking for which has been a problem for me on other apps. Stop and Shop has a great selection of items. Ive had to shop for my family and two sets of elder parents and have had no trouble finding what I need. The shopping staff is amazing and have always found what I ordered - or made a very good choice of a substitute. The pick up is super easy - pull in a spot and call and they bring out your order. Ive used it 4 times now and each time has been spot on. Today Melissa brought our order out and she couldnt be friendlier or more conscientious. Great service!!!!

Love this store, our go-to for pretty much everything. 99% of the staff is so nice and friendly except for 1 or 2 cashiers....expected but too bad being so close to perfect

They must have a new baker because items the past few months have been fresh, tasty and beautiful! Cakes, pastries and cookie cakes are amazing.

This store is always well stocked on the items I shop for. The floor plan for covid 19 protection is excellent. Also, the employees are knowledgeable and very friendly.

:( They do not care about pleasing the customer. The managers or people in charge need to take LESSONS on the customer is always right and giving them the benefit of the doubt!!! That is basic customer relations 101 !!!!!👎

Not only do I work here and enjoy all of the great reviews I see here but I enjoy seeing all of my coworkers and managers, and Im glad to have continued the work of keeping this store professional, clean, and being apart of a good team.

This is an ok grocery store. Its in need of an updating for sure. But the customer service is great and they usually have what I need.

This location is one of their smaller stores with a reduced assortment. The store is super convenient and the staff friendly and caring. Only real negative is that they do not have live lobster ... kind of odd in that the location is in the middle of one of the wealthiest communities in the country.

These employees deserve a raise. They work hard to stock the store amidst this crisis. Appreciate what they do. From the bottom up. Without them we would not have what we need to weather this storm. Say thank you for what they do. That goes for everyone that is working to make your lives easier. God bless you all.

The STOP & SHOP in Ridgewood, NJ, is small, but its well organized. I normally prefer to go to the STOP & SHOP in Teaneck, NJ, because its bigger and has more products.This store doesnt have signs on the floor to direct traffic. Instead, it has aisles roped off with signs showing which direction to go. In this case I like the fact that the store is small.Generally speaking, STOP & SHOP is pricier than other supermarkets, but I had a $50 gift card (which I won in a contest recently) and I was in the neighborhood.I got a few things at this store before my doctors appointment (non-perishables) and ended up going to SHOPRITE after my appointment to get the rest of the things that I needed to get.

Grocery store with a liquor store upstairs. They have everything you need and it is walking distance from anywhere in downtown Ridgewood. It has always been clean inside. They have a Redbox for movie/game rentals. The parking lot is big enough so I have never had trouble getting a spot.

There a are all of of options and they have a individual scanner so u can scan items as you go. Its very convient !

We are steady shoppers for at least 15 years. We never once had a problem with either a product or the personnel. In fact, employees have gone out of their way to assist us. The pharmacist are extremely helpful. We will continue to shop at the Ridgewood store!

Too many people in this store today and not enough cashiers..Great sale items. Never often enough.Only 2 of the 3 self checkouts were open.Technology only is good, when it works!!!

I stopped in because I wanted a few sale items. Shana-Lee was the cashier at the check out. See was out right RUDE!The gentleman who was ahead of me asked her 3 or 4 times to put his phone number in because he didnt have his card. She totally ignored him. Never looked him or me as if we werent there. She never acknowledged me even when I spoke to her. Her young son was running around the register area, I guess she was getting off work soon.I wont be going back there anytime soon. Especially in the evening. The woman at the front desk didnt say anything to her about her performance and allowed the family gathering at the registers.

Very good variety of brands, carry organic meats & produce & dairy but not a great variety.Fruit is generally as good as in other supermarkets, perhaps not as good as Kings or Whole Foods nearby.Theyve recently added self checkout lines which is great.

My experience is always great when I go to stop and shop.

More expensive than the Paramus location, but better than other supermarket chains.

I love the store and the location, however most of the time there is never coverage upstairs in the liquor department. Trying to get help up there is sometimes impossible. I’ve seen many customers walk out because there is no one there to help them.

Always shop there on Saturday evenings and a shopper simply has to pay attention to the pricing on the flyer and signs posted around the product, because they sometimes dont jive at the register! Some of the clerks have gotten used the me, so they send a manager to make sure I am correct, which Inam! The manager Larry is simply so attentive and he makes it a point to help distressed clients. It is ashame not to have someone in attendance around the meats after 5 PM on Saturday & Sunday. The advertised specials are so often missing and that is stressful foe shoppers. But I do like the store and return every weekend with my crew of two children, their mother and a WW ll vet and we do the weekly shopping.

Pretty sure the most miserable people in the state work here (with the exception of a few select). If you ask a question, the reaction from most is that youre bothering them. Ive stood at the deli counter with no other customers present and 3 workers chatting behind the counter and still had to wait. The manager Ive dealt with on a couple occasions was less than helpful and didnt seem to care when alerting him to problem. Ive discussed this with others in the area and there is a consensus on the poor quality of this store. Not the usual Stop & Shop standards. I often leave frustrated and angry.

Dr. harasses my daughter and another woman about not being 6 feet apart then proceeded to ask her about being vaccinated! She told him that it was non of his business. The lirus has not been isolated therefore it doesn’t exist. Dr’s should not be allowed to harass any customers that are in any facility outside a medical facility. Stop & Shop needs to get on this ASAP.

Okay. Consider yourself lucky if you get what your list had. Many items low or missing - even before the bug hit.

Stopped by on our walk through Ridgewood .They have this wonderful whole grain panini bread.Must be really popular now as they have it most days.

Pharmacy upstairs is never busy. Quick wait for a prescription.

Very expensive, probably because of its location. I only go here when I need something quickly as I know I can get things at a better price if I drive a few minutes away to another grocery store.

The people that work at the svc desk are well trained, and pleasant.Something hard to find nowadays.

Stop and Shop in Ridgewood needs a new store manager. The lines are long and there are employees giving customers dirty looks as they walk around. The cashiers are slow and they look so upset that you are there. No greetings at all. You would think they would open more registers on a weekend? I was disgusted with this place.

Today unfortunately lady in register 7 was miserable and just rude. I complained mayb she will do better next time but most of the employee are the same including everyone in customer service desk. what aa shame😐
