Went to Home Depot and paint pealed!Went to this paint store and asked for a hunter green on a white metal garage door.The paint they recommended was expensive, but the metal garage door still looks great! The staff really know their stuff and it is very good paint! This is ten years later!

Weekend home painters should keep in mind that coating technology has advanced a great deal. Paints are more durable, richer in color, easier to spread, less prone to fading, and less polluting. If you go to a Sherman Williams store, you may be put off by the prices. But in my experience, the product is worth every penny. I am not a secret agent for Sherman Williams. Just a homeowner who has painted every room in our house (several multiple times) and who simply recognizes the quality of the product. Oh, and folks in the Ridgewood store are knowledgeable and efficient, even though they are different every time I go there.

The crew here have a deep knowledge about what they sell and the wide array of applications they have. I had a stucco project and they helped me walk through its properties as well as explain what the various products do from primer to masonry-specific paint.
