Ive been here a handful of times and everytime I walk through the doors there is always a friendly welcome and oddly a store assistant with a big smile, and kind words chaperones me till my supply order has been filled... this is definitely a store that saves you time b/c they are so helpful and the bonus part is that they all appear to love their jobs ... i never thought Id be saying this, but girl power, its a beautiful thing, and I like it :) I say that primarily bc Ive only seen females working there.

Knowing that is a very busy time of the year for gardening supplies I hate disturbing Rio Linda True Value Hardware but I was looking for Happy Frog potting soil. They were so nice, like I was the only customer they had, when I called them.

The most homely, comfortable and enjoyable experience in a hardware store that you can possibly have! They even have popcorn and treats for your dog if you bring them along. Each employee takes their time to assist in your project needs and I find their pricing to be great compared to the big stores. You know that great feeling you had when walking into your local radio shack back in the day, because you knew that the guy there would know the exact adapter or part you needed for wiring your sound system? Well Its like that same feeling here for your hardware and materials needs, but better!

This place used to be the closest pay station for SMUD but the Covid took it away . .. havent paid since then..probably will get it shut off soon.i hope they get it back-up and running again,,, I will ask on my next trip...

They were very rude. Ignored the fact I had a cane in hand to help me walk thru their over crowded store. Someone help to d what I needed but no one offered to help out to my car wben I almost fell.

Really disappointed. I was completely ignored by a male employee but my husband was greeted very nicely. Then the cashier didnt give us the receipt so we cant even check it. Weve definitely had better experiences there.

Best hardware store ever

Been going here for most my life. Friendly people, if they dont have an item in stock or if its an obscure item they will order it and call you when it arrives. If your disabled like me or just have a large order they will load it for you with a smile. It may be a small shop but they do a good job of making sure you get what you need are happy with your purchase.

(Ill find it myself faster ) Here its just the opposite !! There store stock isnt just alot of mic.crap ether. They use every square of space to effectively stock the items needed for local home improvement and repairs. ...

Hubbie bought hose connector end. Went to teturn this morning cause it leaked. The clerk wont refund cause he says my hubbie bent it. Unsatisfied customer. No more True Value in Rio Linda. Ill keep my business with home depot. They actually would of refunded me....the vibe was a lie. It was previpusly opened when bought.

Great local hardware store that has lots of stuff on hand.

I purchased a new mower from this store in January and it fell apart a couple of weeks later. I returned the mower for repairs and havent seen it nor have I gotten a phone call with updates since. Ive been up there asking about my mower and get nothing but lies. Long story short they have problems with huskavarna so my mower hasnt been touched and Im out 450 dollars and cant seem to get a straight answer from anyone. I would suggest that if you are buying power equipment from true value in rio linda, do your homework and double check warranty and return policies.

Fast convenient close to home good service and the workers are very nice and helpful and always ask if I need help all the time and just love that true value.
